I called Zep headquarters and she said they would sell me 4 gallons with a dispenser for 111.00 and an extra dispenser for 28 or something like that for about 35.00/gallon not bad but.... Since I already had the (2) Gojo dispensers for a pretty good deal from Gearhead Rob- I went through ryderfleetproducts and got the green supro max for about $20.50/2000ml refill.

^^ This is true- people claiming they would drop 125 for a day in a Z versus people showing up with cash are two different things- kind of like track days where 300 people talk about how awesome their cars are and faster than the speed of light for months and then about 20 actually show up that everyone already knows are fast. Back in the early days of the f-body group everyone all around the country swore they were running mid to low 13s with basically nothing for mods but gears and cold air intake but the day of the annual events they were all in the 14s to high 13s.

volvos, dodge minivans and omnis, mustang svo/Tbird, porsche 951, cooper s, 3000gt/stealth, galant vr4, 300zx twin turbo, previous to mkIV toyota supra turbo, grand nationals, regal t-types, turbo trans am, syclone/typhoons, etc .... about anything with a factory turbo can be cool.

The funny thing is I heard GM copied the firing order of the old 5.0 HO in the lsx? Does that mean they don't sound like a 5.0 anymore? I swear my LSX sort of sounds like one in a more angry way- just need some flowmasters...

I also didn't know about this! I bet you could haul a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood in the back if the seats fold down? How are they in the snow? What kind of work do you have to do to the drivetrain to handle that power? I was going to do a turbo volvo wagon but this might be easier and cheaper? I want one-!

FWIW there is a club/business that already does this in Dublin. I forget the name but basically its a car guy like the rest of us that has soaked too much cash into his rides for the use he gets out of it so would like to recover/make some money on the cars down time.. he has a couple ferraris and a porsche IIRC. And 1. No I would not rent it for 125.00/day because it would be sort of the nitrous on my Firebird I had- you go through bottles very quickly at 40/pop and the more you use it the more you want it as your car feels soo slow off of it and I already have its younger brother the c5 z06 that still feels fast to me and don't want to ruin that. 2. I can buy a ZR1 for less than 125.00 per day.

I have a black 2000 ml capacity dispenser but I think it will also take the 800 ml boxes I used the supro max when I visited AJ at ricart a while ago and really liked it so am leaning that way but it is not cheap!

The numbers really don't add up for that... hp/weight... 08 Corvette - 436 hp 3100 lbs 10 SRT8 - 420 hp 4820 lbs Don't get me wrong they are fast trucks and the vette has a little more in it but they shouldn't even be close- Figuring an 18% loss- probably higher with the auto and awd they have about 356 to the wheels which puts it at high 13s??? mid 13s I guess if they really brake launched it on all four wheels but then again you have less aerodynamics....hmm What does the underrated 390 hp 3700 lb cobra run stock? 12.6-12.8? if you add a 1.1 seconds for 1100 lbs then subtract 3 tenths for the extra 30 hp you are looking at 13.4-13.6?

I don't know what it had done to it but there was a silver one at one of last years track events at trails that was pretty damn fast... I ran my dad's 08 ls3 vette against it and wasn't really paying attention to the light to get a good launch but I don't think I caught him. I will have to check the timeslips but I think the vette ran a 12.65 and he ran a 12.78 or something like that... vette only weighs 3100 lbs fwiw.

Good luck in the 800-1000 range- I have been looking in that range for years casually and it seems like 2-2500 is the bottom for a decent non-antique ride. SV650 looks like a lot of value to me but I know nothing about bikes. I think what people are saying is true though- as long as you save up the coin for a decent non-salvage bike, and don't wreck it you will likely ride it for free less gas and maintenance.

There is a person that posts on craigslist that does this under services I believe... I previously tried to talk my wife into it (an attorney) as I thought it was a good idea and she refuses.
