  1. Terminator is near impossible to beat as far as straight line prowess for the dollar.
  2. As I am sick of dealing with all of the bs on craigslist so I am going to try to list my explorer on here. It is a fully loaded XLT with the more powerful SOHC 4.0 V6 that has 118,500 miles on it. Believe it or not it actually gets decent mileage at around 20 mpg for the mixed highway/city driving I do. It also has very minimal rust in the common areas for 4 door explorers (rear door sills and bottoms of doors/rocker panels). The cruise control does not currently work (I think there is a recall on it) but everything else works great including cold AC and hot Heat, keyless entry, power windows and locks, wipers, vent actuators, compass/temp, etc, etc, etc. $3995.00 OBO Come and see it! Thanks, Andrew http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj162/hpfiend/Exterior.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj162/hpfiend/Exterior2.jpg http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj162/hpfiend/Interior1.jpg I have lots more pictures as well, just ask.
  3. This is true- his looks much wider and the tires look bigger even though they are the same dimensions. We do need to get some pics AJ.
  4. You guys must be more coordinated than myself. At least in my old 5.0 mustang, once that last yellow hits, there was an explosion of thrust and I am doing all that I can not to get dizzy, maintain traction/stay straight/not hit the rev limiter while shifting as fast as I possibly can and then its over and I am worried about hitting the wall or where is that guy way back there in the other lane, slow down let him exit, then cross, then its relaxation time. Haven't taken the vette yet.
  5. Chris Green (excell) was looking for one of these... great price btw I loved mine.
  6. Thanks for the tip- I was familiar with that way but I thought this white key section would make it a lot easier if I could just get it to release... I boogered it up pretty bad already- should only be cosmetic damage but dont want to go further... I will try the safety pin trick when I get home. Thanks!
  7. Hey guys- Anyone know how to take apart the new style automotive plugs that have a white "key" insert? This is not a waterproof plug. It is black, the wires enter from the rear, has snap clip on one side you depress to remove and the other side has this white insert with little depressions on the sides and the top edge.. I will take a pic when I get home. Thanks, Andrew Came off a mirror from an 05 maxima
  8. Hah I should have known that- Thanks....
  9. How do you change the filter without draining the oil? Do you seriously let the oil pour out all over you and the garage floor at full speed until you can get another one securely threaded in place or is there a trick I am missing? Waitaminute- the filter is higher up and not connected to the pan- I wonder if it only drains to a certain point- all these years... hmmm
  10. DMH cutout is what you are trying to build and it is expensive for a reason. The second and third iteration of the McCord cut out (Keith McCord) is nice and Quicktime are made by him as well... much cheaper but not as nice/reliable as the dmh you get what you pay for.
  11. warren buffet, bill gates, kerkorian? but I know they wouldn't do it for only 12%.

    Graham Ford

germain ford is where I used to go when I had my mustang- they are open late and weekends
  13. I missed the first one but I appreciate you posting this one as I now know. The last one surprises me and I already have mine.
  14. yes but people aren't saving either because A) they dont have the money as you mentioned or B) those that do have the money aren't going to put it in a bank because the interest rates are so low there is no incentive with inflation as it is... that is why banks are failing- in addition to the subprime lending you mentioned.
  15. how do I get ahold of the list of "problem banks" It is common sense, lower the interest rates this far and what do you think is going to happen? 1.75% with inflation at what 3% hah.
  16. I do- Where did you find out that we moved up from #10 to #2? How are we as far as importing?

    Honda?

Hey guy, Just curious as to what some of you that are employed at Honda do there? Curious what type of positions they have there for those without an automotive engineering/mechanical engineering degree??? IE assembly line work? Administration? Management? CAD work? Engineering Support? Parts running? Clean floors? inquiring minds want to know. Thanks! Andrew
  18. Hey man- glad you managed to make it on here... Once you drive a notch you wont go back... so much more solid feeling. I have personally sold 5.0 parts to Dave from my old car and have seen his welding expertise first hand- looked like art. Welcome to the board!
  19. once she sees how much money she can make as a prostitute she will forget the masters.
  20. kevin, that would be awesome but I would have to pay you something... the sandpaper material and time alone is worth something and I would have to do that even if I did it myself. Yeah I just have one little spot- I would like to meet you anyhow I hear you do nice work... When would be a good time?
