  2. Something tells me that rumors start to fly and then all of the sudden people assume that is what is going on. I guess in a way it really is shop vs. shop, since you guys compete for business, but not to the extent that some seem to think. As far as this whole pissing contest on CR, people need to grow up around here. If I took everything personally around here and in life, I'd be a miserable son of a bitch. Like Chris said, shut up and drive. Look outside today. This is what we have been waiting for. Clear skies and sunshine. Time to drive/ride or whatever the hell it is that you guys do when it's nice out. Enjoy and remember kids this isn't high school.

  5. I think we talked with the guy a few weeks ago at National Trail Raceway. He was asking where I got my car tuned and he said that he was set up to go have his car tuned at Dyno Tune as well. Is this the black vert?

  9. Who is running low 11's on radials? When you say radials I assume drag radials, but I don't know. Who is us? If you are talking about your lightning, then that wasn't what was originally stated. He said who has a faster TBSS, not who has a faster brick to go down the track
  10. That really isn't that much done to it and how many of the stock LS1's actually ran low 13's. I know of a few that ran low 13's way back, but they had lid and catback. I know those cars are capable, but most of the drivers aren't. What does your stock LS1 run by the way?
  11. If I'm not mistaken he said that he was very close to hitting the car next to him. That would be what we are drawing from. The road isn't a fucking racetrack, so don't give me the "I've been in the same situation at the track" B.S. Learn how to avoid losing control and you won't have to worry about your awesome driving ability to save it. I don't remember anyone doubting your track skills here, just you come in here and tell a story about being a little too aggressive with the throttle and expect everyone to say "Good save, must have been your awesome driving." Not going to happen. Trust me I've had plenty of traction issues in various weather with my old car and I never wrecked it. I guess that means that I am an awesome driver as well. Be smart with the car and leave the sliding to the track.

  13. How about myself and Tommy, when I put some tires on the old pig. The two of us have known each other long enough and I think it would be a little bit of fun for the both of us. I'm thinking next Friday at Trails would work. Hell, I'll just call Tommy and see what he thinks.
  14. I think it's time to learn how to drive in the rain then. It's not hard to get one loose in the rain, but you should know your limitations before it ends up being a smashed pile and you hurt yourself or someone else. Now I remember why so many fox-body mustangs ended up wrecked. Also, doing donuts in a parking lot/anywhere = retarded.

  16. Jeg's gave my friend the k-member for a 4.6 and it didn't work. Bolts in, but the motor mount bolts wouldn't go in.
  17. I'm not too excited about getting into anything at this point, but some of the people that have been in and out of that place need to be tossed. Something about inexperienced drinkers getting beer muscles at that place. I guess it's better that I don't hang out over there too much. Don't really like the drama.

  21. Well, it was only a matter of time for this to happen. A good friend of mine's son was diagnosed with cancer a little over a year ago. The day before Kenny's showing we had our "last" visit with him as things were looking grim. He couldn't accept anymore chemo as his counts were too low. He was fighting the whole way. He did get signed by the Blue Jackets and was in their team photo. Part of his contract gave him tickets to the first home playoff game and he was there. So much support for this kid and so much inspiration from him. We are all going to miss him and it just sucks to actually now know that he is gone. The only good thing from this is that he is no longer in pain. This is not easy. Remember to enjoy life, because you never know.

  23. Got the 5-pack. Smells nice. I'll be having one this weekend. Felt like we were doing something wrong with the way they were delivered. Nicely dressed guy in a black caddy pulling up and me laughing thinking this can't look good. He gets out and says feels like a drug deal. Funny stuff.
  24. Jeff it looks like you have worked on your "business owner" responses. Much better than in past threads. I will agree with you on the let the customers speak. I have had help from both shops and have no complaints, so I can't really say much here. I just know that to this point Brian has more experience with Ford tuning. That is why I went to him for my tune. Nothing against IPS, just is what it is. The only other thing that I will say is that this is an opportunity for IPS to be in the Ford tuning business and best of luck to you guys. Hopefully it works out well. I don't think that this needs to turn into a shop vs. shop B.S. thread.
