  1. Thanks again for the help today. I had an issue that I wanted to data log the car on, and Brian told me to come over and he would hook up the laptop and go for a drive. We figured out the issue quickly and it was mechanical, not tuning. Just wanted to put it out there that he is willing to help solve issues with customer cars. Thanks again.
  2. Would definitely have liked to have been, but had previous commitments to attend to. I'm planning on going to the fall rental, since I haven't ever been to a CR rental. I can only hope that the weather for that is as good as it was for this event.
  3. Kind of hard to run when I'm in a car on the way to Cincinnati. It's still just a question of who ran what. I'll let you know what the car runs the next time out. Atleast it was great weather for everyone.
  4. My guess is tune and tires. They run well. Also, anyone know who had the torch red 03/04 Cobra?
  5. That is not too bad. Wonder what it would have done actually making the normal power.
  6. Anyone give me a reason to change anything from the original statement from here http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64681?
  7. I might be, but it looks doubtful.
  8. That is what I do now, but my car doesn't do anything in first gear on the street with the tires that I have on it now. I might just put some drag radials on it and just run those. I'd still like to see what it would run with the street slicks.
  9. This is the type of stuff that I was hoping for. Get some good friendly competition stirred up and get everyone out beating on their cars. I just might have to start grinding on the calipers and IRS parts to get some 15's to fit. 27x11.5x15's sound like a winner right now.
  10. I was talking about for me. I guess the next question is when did you run this 11.80? I saw the beast at trails last year running 12.70's the night I was running 12.1's on sumitomo radials. I guess that was a bad night. Just remember you wanted me to bring it, so it's on you.
  11. Hopefully it isn't as bad as it could be.
  12. I'm sure we can arrange a race at the track. I'll find someone to donate some tires and don't worry, your 11.80 won't get it done. It will be nice to outrun a car making an extra 60 wheel.
  13. That is the intercooler. The one that you see in the front of the car is the heat exchanger.
  14. Do all turbo Cobra owners a favor and get that rear built with 3.55's and put some real tires on it. I still think you will need some track time to get used to the power and I hope that you don't hose the input shaft in the process. Bias ply only on the tires by the way.
  15. I didn't even look after the comments, but I would say that you were sent this for all of the sick ass shit that you used to post on here. Every single time that you posted a link to some porn, guess who didn't click on that shit? Karma is a bitch
  16. Do shiny heat exchangers count? I think there were atleast three of us with the same one that had the COBRA stencil on the front.
  17. Looks like I left before the glamour shots. My chicken was starting to thaw.
  18. It was the guy in the other red TA. I think Wagner on here.
  19. Found out some interesting things, hopefully it gets figured out.
  20. Watched my dad work on cars in the garage and then began to help him. That led to tearing apart my car on my own and if I had any questions I would go inside and ask. Only thing that sucked was I became the designated oil changer for the five vehicles at the house.
  21. You have run better than ported eaton cars and kenne bell/whipple cars. That is what is funny.
  22. Some day I'll put tires on it and see what it can really do. 2.0x 60' on radials letting off going into 2nd and still getting loose and going 12.0's. That is the difference. The cars aren't the same either. Mine made 443/444, not 465/485.
  23. I've started to notice a pattern here. All of the cars running well are automatics. Come on stick car drivers, where are you? Maybe we should have an auto vs. stick shootout at one of the track rentals. There's an idea. Might get the stick drivers to figure out how to make a 1/4 mile pass.
  24. Who is bringing the food? This has probably been discussed already, but Sam's club isn't too far and we could run over there and clean them out of brats and dogs. Just a thought.
  25. I started this thread as to track times. I know why a lot of people don't want to or can't get the good times at the track. It's a combo of not wanting to break something or they just don't have enough practice with the launch. One of the hardest things to do in a stick car is get the launch down. That is what I am getting at here. To say the track isn't an indication of the potential is a little funny. There are many reasons why I don't roll race, but I don't need to get into that. There is also a reason that people started 1/4 mile racing and not the Roll Racing Association of America. So, if you built your car for roll racing at 450-500 wheel, then I guess that is your poor track time excuse. Once again, this is the kitchen so if your feelings are hurt that is just too damn bad. Where are the rest?
