How about some of the front drive turbo cars that don't get rolling until the top half of the track? The same trap speed doesn't necessarily equate to an even roll race. My old car trapped 107.xx and would run on the highway with cars that trapped 111-113. Never know unless it happens.

FUCK Shamrock. Bastards towed my beater when I first moved into my complex 5 years ago. I had to go to the other side of town to get the car and I forgot my damn keys. They left it outside for me to come back and get and when I got back up there the window was down and the door was open. It was pouring rain that day. Needless to say my car was soaked and some of my notes from school were ruined. Not too happy about the way they tried to screw me around either. When I called to see how much it was to get it out they said $125. I got there and the guy told me $103. I wasn't mad about that, but it almost seemed like the guy that told me $125 was going to pocket the extra $20. Thieves can rot in hell.

Put new fluid in anyway. It can't hurt anything. All of the recommendations from Rob are spot on. Just remember that a T-5 is the easiest/lightest transmission to take out and put back in. Hopefully you have air tools to get the flywheel bolts off, or you'll have someone on the crank bolt holding the thing in one spot. Also, blow proof bellhousing will save your legs/feet.

His friend has the super new, no-one else has, one off, 33-spline shafts. Guy at ford must have had his head shoved up his ass too. This is why I hate going to parts stores that have people that know nothing. Some of the guys know enough, but most just fill space behind the counter.

Sounds like you got the wrong year hub. They had 28 spline in 99. Then changed over to the 31 spline in 01 and the 03/04 had 31 spline as well. Anyone one that makes the upgraded halfshafts make theirs 31 spline as well. There might be 33, but I haven't seen it.

Not that anyone cares, but my P-Chem Professor was doing work on Graphene sheets while I was in school. He seemed to be very excited about it as well.
