  1. I was referring to the other ZO6's not your car, and I know how much these damn rear ends cost. That is why I haven't put tires on mine yet. I'm really getting tired of the damn wheel hop and not having traction, but I guess I just want to see an 11.xx pass on radials for some reason. Just steal the rear end from the black turbo LS1 RX7.
  2. I don't remember saying anything about your car and my car has gone 12.0's on shitty sumitomo radials, if that really matters. That wasn't on a 1.6x 60' either. Put a better rear end in it next time and you won't have to worry about breaking it.
  3. I'd like to hope that they weren't referring to you. Especially since it is pulling better times than the heads/cam cars running around.
  4. Check this out http://www.kilkare.com/09Drag%20Sched.htm. They are open, but it's not test and tune. $25 to race street 1/4 mile. I've never been for one of these, so I don't know how it's run. I'd think that if you get there early they would give a time trial run or two, but then it seems to be racing. It should be nice out on Saturday, but don't get your hopes up for Sunday.
  5. Tommy from IPS cleared up the bogging sound. He said that the converter was locking up and that is what we were hearing. I thought the same thing. 10.2x on the first pass out with what I believe was a 1.9x 60'. With traction that car could pull some mid to low 9's. Guy was like a kid in a candy store after a couple of runs in the vette. Another good job for the C6Z crowd by IPS.
  6. Stopped by at about 6:15, no one was there.
  7. I've heard that once you get them on the phone that they are great, but getting them is a crap shoot.
  8. Pizza? All of the times that we have been over there and we don't get pizza?
  9. I think that they literally have one phone line. What a joke.
  10. Yes they did. I was out of there by 12:30. Makes it very easy to do that.
  11. Kenne Bell makes a FRPS disk that sits in the opening on the fuel rail. This helps to "release" some of the excess pressure on the FRPS that kills them. I emailed Kenne Bell after trying to reach them, since their phone is always busy. They ended up sending me one for nothing. I've read that these are a necessary upgrade with the PPRV delete that I did. Just a thought.
  12. I don't know. If I do, I'll probably ride out with someone. I'd rather put around town miles on the break in. There is a good chance that I will be there.
  13. I put the SPEC 3 in it. I can't really give too much feedback on it, since I have only driven about 50 miles on it. I just know that on gravel it shakes like crazy. Trying to be really easy on it makes it chatter like crazy. I just didn't think that my friend wanted me to spray his cars with gravel. It isn't too bad when you slip it out a little harder, but I'll have to wait and see how it works at the track before I decide if I like it or not.
  14. It has a 2.93 upper on it. I'm not planning on taking the alternator off again anytime soon, but if this one goes I'll be trying that out. Lifetime warranty Auto Zone starters make me not have to worry about paying for another one again. Hopefully it lasts for a little while.
  15. I don't think it will be on the dyno. Still have about 450 miles of break in for the clutch and transmission. Stupid alternator went bad about 25 miles after I finished putting everything back together. Put that in today and it seems to be working now. Damn things are expensive and only one place in town had it in stock. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else goes on it. I have a feeling that the half shafts are next. This clutch has a nice chatter if you try and ease it out. That gives a nice shock to the rear end and I hope it doesn't decide to spit one out. The old pressure plate felt like a grooved rotor. Weird thing is that it still held up at the track.
  16. I had the black 93 GT mustang that ran around with a bunch of other mustangs back when we used to meet at Jeg's on the east side. I don't know if you would remember me out of all of the guys, but maybe.
  17. Nice to see you went through with the pulley swap finally. Really nice #'s.

    Thanks IPS

Just wanted to say thanks for getting the SPEC clutch to me 2 days after I asked for it. Also, thanks for the sticker and wrist band for Kenny. Keep up the good work.
  19. Damn Hot Wheels. I stopped by IPS to pick up my clutch today and grabbed a sticker and a band. They both turned out well. Thanks to those who got these.
  20. I've personally never seen a carb'd 86, but I wouldn't doubt that they exist.
  21. Someone had a video from a phone, I think. It was from the lot of Roosters.
  22. If I had to guess I'd say somewhere between 11.50 and 12.00 .
  23. Jeff, when I stop by to pick up the clutch hopefully these will be in. I'd like a red one with ride like you're invisible, unless they are all spoken for.
  24. 03 Cobra here. I know 86GT has a 95 Cobra and his brother 90gt has an 01 Cobra.
  25. Song is fitting. Good to see a decent turn out. Wish I could have made it.
