  1. It's funny that the other side of this story is completely different. I'm not going to get into it here, but this whole "first impressions" is terrible due to your claimed "bad experience" is bull shit. Carry on.
  2. What's to say that they are telling the truth? You are basing your opinions on what was said by someone who is trying to save themselves from being obligated to pay out a lot of money for someone's medical expenses. No one knows for sure who is telling the truth and who isn't. Maybe you should think about that as well.
  3. Dan went 12.48 with a 4.10, x-pipe, weld in flows, a tune, and mickey t drag radials. On tires with exhaust and a decent driver, 12's are easy. I've seen some 3.55 geared cars go 12.50's on drag radials too.

  8. I'm just trying to get some insight on things. I'm not one to jump to conclusions without atleast some info. I think I would be ready to beat it out of someone as well in the same situation, but that should be saved for later. I wouldn't want my car sitting outside either, so I understand that too. Hopefully you get this figured out and don't have to resort to Joe Pesci like tactics.
  9. I'm still wondering if you have found out if the work will still be getting done or not. That is what I was trying to get at. If the guy gets the work done, then other than the fact that it took forever, what is the deal? I realize you have a lot of time in his ride, now just make sure that you get what you were supposed to, without "taking care of this shit" in a stupid manner. If the guy has said that no work will be done, then "take care of it" however you want. Seems that some of the story is missing and no one seems to care about actual details, but would rather egg you on to do something stupid. Calm down a little and make an attempt to get this solved without doing something that will cause you more problems. Like I stated before, if you have attempted to resolve the issue already without a response then do what you have to do. Hopefully this works out for you.

  12. A lot of people are looking to get out of debt at this point, so the prices they want are down to where they think they can unload quickly. Definitely check it out first and look for obvious signs of repair work and if it checks out, pick it up.

  17. I didn't realize who the original poster was until now. Since the car is an 85, I'd make sure that rear end isn't the 7.5 before I would throw too much at it. I didn't even know you still had the car.
  18. I was serious. Try and find an 85 that already has a carb and it will be much easier for you. It wouldn't be too hard to unload your 86 if it is in good shape, since the 4 eye cars aren't very common anymore. I'm just not a fan of going in the wrong direction as far as technology is concerned, especially on an 86 mustang. If I offended you or anyone else with my commet earlier, I really could care less. You will get over it.

  20. Car still won't be quick. Little 2V 4.6 cars can't run that well . Wait, was that an 11.35 pass I saw? I'm excited to see the new setup. I think Dan is going to have to either go S-Trim or get one of those Turbo kits.

  23. So, why don't all cars with the same mods make the same power? Your arguement is very strange. I assume you pay attention to the vehicles that come through your shop and see that some make a little more or a little less than others with the same mods. I have seen many stock cars of the same variety make different #'s. I guess you are a little dissapointed that someone didn't come over to your shop for a tune when you have the AWD dyno to tune it on. Shit happens. I don't remember anyone shitting on any of the IPS dyno graphs in here. I guess I could ask why the IPS magic # for any LSx car with heads and cam, regardless of the package and vehicle, is 440. But, I don't feel the need to do that.
  24. That is a negative. They have almost anything you could want, but I have never seen it there.
