I picked up a very cheap tac light off amazon this week. Its a NEBO Protec Elite HP190. It cost me $25, free shipping via amazon prime but let me say its not what I'd call a chinese toy. Its all aluminum, has a very sturdy on/off switch, and has some good power and attaches very solidly to my AR or M&P45's accessory rail. Inside the house its plenty bright to see your way around and light up targets and bright enough that pointed at a person at inside the home distances they would be completely unable to tell if your holding a light or a gun and its easily bright enough to ruin any dark adaption. Outside it lights up the inside of my 3 sided barn from 100yrds and also at 100yrds I could see what my holosight is aiming at. Just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone interested in a low cost and effective light to mount on a gun.

While we're on tax advice, anyone know a tax guy who might be knowledgeable in Day Trading taxes? I need someone who's a serious tax geek because I'll need advice on trading from within an LLC and some other fancy stuff that the average small business tax guys aren't going to want to mess with. I do have at least one accountant who I'm hoping can give me a lead. I just don't wanna bother her with my questions until tax time is over. I know how busy they get. I actually just ended up at my accountants office today so i got questions answered.

Your the one who bought 3 properties, get an accountant you probably need one. Seriously though, I'd help if I could and usually know tax stuff pretty well, but that ones out of my league.

You gotta think and plan long term. Do you feel she is unfit in some way? If she's a POS pot head or some other loser call her out on it by calling the child welfare people, can't think of the name now. They'll harass her to death with interviews and keep the calls coming in. Build a case against her and use the system to do it if your serious about getting custody. Otherwise just like everyone else says, its a mommy state.

My fulltime job is field service for an IT firm, daily I repair copiers, printers and anything else that handle paper, I get into all areas of IT constantly and have a +15yr background in all areas of IT except for the new security sector that's popped up. Not really required for my job, but it helps that I'm also an electronics guru and have a lot of programming experience so I understand whats going on, not just how to fix things. I started a photography business about 6 years ago and made a go at it. I closed it at the end of 2013 and learned a lot about myself while operating. I found that I have no capacity to sell myself or my services. I'm completely capable of taking photos and very much love the business side of things, but the lack of sales ability is going to stop me in any business endeavor and I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that problem. LOL Day Trading/Investing is something I've been interested in since I was a kid and the market was reported in fractions. I grew up to poor to really get involved, moved on with life and now I'm months away from going full time/part time with it. Lucky for me I was poor so I didn't end up losing a fortune starting out and learning how. Instead I've spent over 15yrs paying attention and paper trading. Trading actual money when I can get it and with what little real money I've had I've been extremely successful in many market conditions and been able to buy man toys that my wife would never allow otherwise hehe. I plan to continue my work in field service for another couple years while trading and saving. Hopefully eventually having enough capital to trade without much risk to daily cash flow needs. I am very worn out of field service and driving all the time so if any of you IT guys got a lead hook me up. Financial field would be cool too;-)

The man wants quality, I can certainly understand this though I'm usually on the entire other end of the spectrum lol. Take my AR for instance, M&P Sport that I made a custom (includes grinding and JB Weld lol) 45deg BUS set up on with a cheapo NcStar Holosight and some cheapo LED tac light because it works and was free to me from Amazon. My purpose, sits around the house or in gun case for home defense, and sometimes I shoot it because its fun. I can use it just fine and its fine for shooting 100yrds off my back deck or dumping magazines like an idiot because its fun.

Don't feel dumb, I run service calls to every type of company there is and at least once a week I find something unplugged or a phone line plugged into the wrong port when they are clearly labeled. They feel real great when they still get the $200 bill. When I did home PC repair years ago I used to see the speaker wires plugged in backwards all the time and those are green-green, pink-pink for a reason.

Nice tow rig. Give us a towing comparison when you get the chance.

I want to know more about this photo, did they just jump onto those boards and send her flying overhead? I guess that would explain the "what have we done!!!" look on there faces. lol http://www.2k2bt.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/83861233.jpg

Thats how I see it as well.

offtopic.com's photography forum. If they can't break you down and build you up with criticism then you aren't that interested in photography.

Not that I have a real good reason to carry my AR around, but was just thinking about a situation and thought I'd give the gun crew a shot at the answer. I can get military style mounts to put mount my AR in my deuce and a half in one of the proper positions. its already got the mounting holes drilled and threaded inserts installed. I'll I'd need is the brackets. ORC 2923.16 C 3 and 4 seems to say I'd be fine. 2923.16 Improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle. (A) No person shall knowingly discharge a firearm while in or on a motor vehicle. (B) No person shall knowingly transport or have a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle in such a manner that the firearm is accessible to the operator or any passenger without leaving the vehicle. © No person shall knowingly transport or have a firearm in a motor vehicle, unless the person may lawfully possess that firearm under applicable law of this state or the United States, the firearm is unloaded, and the firearm is carried in one of the following ways: (1) In a closed package, box, or case; (2) In a compartment that can be reached only by leaving the vehicle; (3) In plain sight and secured in a rack or holder made for the purpose; (4) If the firearm is at least twenty-four inches in overall length as measured from the muzzle to the part of the stock furthest from the muzzle and if the barrel is at least eighteen inches in length, either in plain sight with the action open or the weapon stripped, or, if the firearm is of a type on which the action will not stay open or which cannot easily be stripped, in plain sight. It isn't a huge issue, but would be a neat addition when I go to shows and I wouldn't have to bring along a case, and have it in and out of the vehicle any more than necessary to prevent mishaps. I could just lock it in place and go.

I've been thinking of getting some people together for some shooting, its been way to cold to just step out back and fire off a few rounds.

DDD (3D Systems) blew up today on a bad earnings report chasing out a lot of the newbs. I jumped in on it for a quick 5.5% gain before exiting. Thats awesome to me since I consider anything greater than 0.25% good profit. A setup that occurs only a couple times per year on the stuff I watch and this time I was ready for it. An hour later I pulled off another in/out trade on AUY (gold mining co) for a 0.3% gain.

I've not used polarizers much, I have a very cheap one that fits a couple of my old consumer lenses. I use Neutral Density filters when I'm wanting to simulate lower light conditions and keep the exposure time long for interesting effects when shooting moving scenes such as waterfalls. Probably work similar for cars in some situations.

Just starting to coat my sidewalk up in Marengo though I expect no school tomorrow and yet again the 6x6 is plugged in just in case;-)

I didn't place a trade the last two weeks, due to the strong trends. Today I was able to sneak one in to catch a little profit. Historically February is a good month to buy and hold until around June/July then sell off for summer. Especially in the seasonal stocks, ie Scotts Companies, Budweiser, etc if they are towards the bottom of their 52wk numbers.

January was brutal to long positions. It was a perfect example of why I don't hold over night. In all I made 7 trades, one went south on me for a loss of around $200 with a profit of around $2400 for the month. I started playing around with OANDA's forex practice account, but I can tell ya I don't know anything about forex or how to actually trade it, just using the candle stick charts in their app isn't enough to be consistent. Maybe with some more study I can make it profitable. Anyone here actually trade forex?

Was easy for my parents to take custody from their Daughter in law. She was too high to show up to the hearing so Judge wasn't amused.
