If you ever think might be investing you should have an account open and ready. You can always wire money if you get a tip and need to move fast.

I use scottrade, tdameritrade and interactive brokers. Scottrade is cheap and easy, td has a nice mobile app for a brokerage and IB is more of a professional platform so it's expensive at $10k min. But it is extremely powerful up to and including writing your own trading algorithms and software.

Another tip, you might try manually selecting daylight white balance in some night skyline scenes to get a true to life color. Sometimes the lights and the sky color can play havoc with the automated setting.

Low light/higher speed is best frozen by a flash of course, but if thats not an option, the next best tools are wide apertures and higher ISO's. DoF is an issue so I choose higher ISO most of the time. Nailing focus just takes practice. I've got over 70,000 photos between my main and secondary cameras. I can tell you there is a marked improvement after the first 7,000-10,000 in both keeper rate and composition.

I've always just put an angle grinder to them till there sharp as hell. Thats how dad always did it when I lived at home too and never gave it to much thought. Besides they are out of balance as soon as you hit a rock anyway if you think it matters.

I'd go with a grand cherokee. Nothing else is going to compare in ride, reliability, and comfort. $2500 might be just a little low to get a great one. I miss my `99 and might pick up another soon and see them for around $3500 asking price. Personally I'd get the selectrac 4wd system instead of the quadtrac or similar AWD systems. Much simpler design so reliability is better, plus if something fails in the front part of the 4wd system you can still run in 2wd till you get it fixed. The whole vehicle is actually very easy/cheap to keep running. Also I'd get the inline 6 engine. They are bullet proof, been around since the mid `60's, downside is gas mileage still isn't very good, but better than chrysler v8's for sure. If your interested I know a bunch about the vehicles and different model years, I owned mine from 80,000 to 250,000 and spanked it hard. It handled it great and when I was done the engine was still perfect and used no oil. My thing was needing better gas mileage at the time.

I stopped paying full price for tires on my work car and now just go down to the ghetto and get a set installed for <> $100. DTT has been my place of choice lately. Nice guys, even let me return one with no issues. Tires have lasted just as well as any tire I've bought and I drive 1200miles per week.

Sorry for your lose, bud. I remember you posting about him over the years. Sounds like a great man and veteran has moved on.

Probably check for mobile sand blasting companies. I know guys who've had their army trucks blasted cheap by those types of companies so a couple barrels could be pretty easy.

The local scottrade offices host a variety of classes.

My `05 Tacoma double cab 4x4 routinely pulled 6,000-7,000lb loads before I sold my trailer. Pulled better than the fullsize GMC truck I had before using the same trailer and stopped better. The truck also had the ability to emergency stop the whole rig well. Keeping safe distance and awareness are equal or more important than what type of truck you drive as long as your within factory towing specs. Also good working trailer brakes do wonders.

I'm sorta in the market. I'll check it out.

I was into flying from when I was a kid, followed MS flight sim very heavy for years, built a small cockpit and used to enjoy the sims to their fullest, including flying correct traffic patterns, ATC coms, and using instrument rules. Gets boring eventually because its like peddling an exercise bike. Wife says she won't get in a plane with me (and I believe her) or I'd be getting into the hobby for real.

Interesting. $2mil isn't bad at all. DO NOT tell my wife I said that. A very nice yacht is about as far as she's gonna let me go at the moment.

M&M museum is on my list. aside from a star trek convention I have no reason to go to vegas.

Almost drove my truck down today. I need to make a longish trip in it before I take it to South Carolina. My daughters probably would have been pissed, both of them trying to take a nap on the bench seat on the way down;-)

From where she was standing when she started hitting him I would have thrown her over on her back in the isle (gently) or I'd have done similar, but landed her on my legs and tickled the bitch till she pissed herself. Then if her bro got involved he'd have been next. Blah screw all that, I'm to old, fat, and slow now. I'd have to leave and if they followed, filled them with lead.

If was really that important you'd pick up a phone and get an answer. The cr legal team only gives advice after you tell the story lol.

Also GSAT is now being relisted on the NYSX myself and at least one other cr never have made 100% gains with it so far and I expect another 100% is still in it before finds a top. I used to swing trade it down around.30 I've been holding since$1.00 as my only other long position.

I just heard PHOT is being suspended. Lol pot heads. I doubled my MRIB position and expect a huge payday in the coming months.

Health dept could have a record of the approval for a three bedroom. This will be for the original construction permit. Our laws changed 2007/2008 here making things annoying but doing some good.

Check that the septic is up to code. Not sure how it is over there, but in Ohio a few years back the septic laws got updated and created a bit of trouble for people out on acreage. Systems can now cost as much as $25K to build to code.

Lol for $280 I'll do it. Its pretty easy, like mentioned the meters are in the setup menu. It is a little tricky getting close enough to pick up the Sat signals at first, but once you get them its just a matter of fine adjustment until your near perfect. The elliptical dish makes it a little tricker due to getting the rotation right, but still not bad. If you DIY best tip I got is make sure to make the mount perfectly level. It will make the Sats much easier to find.

So I bought a car hauler, questions/suggestions

Looking again, I'd also find more ways to reinforce the tongue assembly. I see many trailers with tongues broken where those welds are. Thats going to be the point of most twisting, etc while bouncing down the road. The axles could easily have been cut out of a mobile home so they should be fine. I'd just make sure you have actual car hauler tires on it so you got the right rating.
