  1. I'm there for the pump and dump.
  2. Does Century Link service that far south? I had them, they were pretty good.
  3. I agree that Nebo 5569 is a great light, well made and is plenty of light. Especially for pistol ranges.
  4. I've had an `05 since it was new. Great truck, lots of power, but its a double cab v6 4x4. 200K on it now and nothing done to it other than oil changes.
  5. I live near Tega Cay, right off the I-77 and Gold Hill Rd exit just south of Charlotte. Toddler's shoe btw just so we aren't thinking 10" or anything lol. 3 inches is still the biggest bug I've seen outside of Starship troopers. Wish these would have been more abundant in Ohio when I was a kid, my GI Joe battles would have been epic.
  6. Some quick reading found that they change color based on water content of their exoskeleton, even humidity can effect them. Neat.
  7. Yeah that one looks more like the ones I've been seeing. The yellow with black spots, but I've not seen any males yet. Females = no huge horn. The one I got today is the first male I've seen here. I've seen black ones and the yellow spotted ones, not sure if they are the same species, I'm not a biology sciences guy at all normally, but these guys got me interested.
  8. Since I moved a couple months ago, these things have showed up every couple days. Pretty cool that we found one alive during the day. I got to play with it a bit and my daughters where fascinated but only while I was the one holding it. This ones a little smaller than the ones I've been seeing. I believe they are Eastern Hercules beetles. The first one we saw was nearly as big as my 3yr olds shoe and she screamed really good as she was the first to spot it. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/EWhytsell/IMG_7050_zps93939c4b.jpg
  9. I usually just buy Kroger medium and add franks extra hot until satisfied.
  10. Thats what I found so interesting. I guess the scam is probably targeting people who could easily write a 5K check or it wouldn't work anyway.
  11. My wife has worked in banking for over 10 years and has seen many customers actually fall into the email scams where someone wants to send you a check for say $5000 and then they need you to wire them back $3000 and they don't mind if you keep the other $2000. This was in north westerville and would happen to people with plenty of cash in their accounts, not older, or desperate people. I found that part very interesting.
  12. I thought I'd share a scary and interesting story that happen to my family many years ago. I'd also like some discussion on it because I just can't get my head around how it can happen. So... Back in the mid `80's my grand father decided to sell his house. A guy came along to buy it and I can't imagine why it was allowed, but my grand father let the guy have all the papers "handled". Well it ended up that he simply stole the house from him and kicked him out. They did go to court, but didn't get anywhere. Its bugged me for decades how my family can be that dumb and they still do things so backwards that they set themselves up for stuff like this. I've always attributed it to being "farm" people. Is this sort of scam even still possible? It would be cool to hear from some of the E lawyers here. I've even searched a little on the topic, but don't find much, likely due to so many regulations and paperwork these days.
  13. If you still don't believe cops have to much power just go to youtube and type in "officer harless" In short, a Canton, OH cop that has a history "even on his dash cam" of threatening to execute black people, shoot concealed carry holders, etc. Guy is bad, sick, and he got fired but due to union laws was able to appeal and get his job back. As far as I know he's currently on the streets in Canton. Be careful.
  14. I was in Clintonville Market on Indianola Ave a few months ago. I'm not really into alcohol much, but they had a lot of stuff and the dude I was with liked the place.
  15. I have no problem believing this could happen. I don't trust cops as the badge simply comes with to much trust and some are gonna misuse it, we're all human. For that matter I don't trust anyone else either until its earned.
  16. Thats very interesting.
  17. Just looked at its chart. As of the close today it looks overbought and I'd have a short position if I were trading it. Tomorrow it will probably drop a little more and then I'd sell and turn around do a buy order and then dump it towards the end of the day if things go well. Or if you believe in the company and what they are doing and planning to do in the future then the price may be at a serious discount right now and you could make some nice profits. I haven't followed them since they trouble they where having in china, if thats all cleared up then it may be good to go.
  18. In order to invest long term in NUS I'd have to know the reason its down so much. I know you asked last year during a very bad news which caused the huge price drop. What caused the recent one? Personally I'd probably swing trade it and now that you reminded me of it I'll probably be making plays as well. I've been busy relocating to south carolina so I haven't been able to pay attention to markets much. Almost fully settled in and the low volume summer season is almost over so I'll be back in play soon.
  19. One of the few downsides to living in SC is we have no open carry. Sucks, I liked open carrying a lot in Ohio, especially when grocery shopping with my little girls in walmart, meijers, etc. I saw that as an opportunity to educate as I don't look like much of a threat while getting chips and pop with my kids and discussing Disney princesses;-) I agree they guy was a douche though. Not a lot of reasons to carry a long gun around, but I can come up with a few situations where being able to carry it openly is a convenience. Kinda like how much easier the CCW permit makes carrying a pistol.
  20. Tractor

    Damn it GLOCK!!

I too am pushed away by GLOCK for some reason, but I could carry a glock 42 from the little bit I handled one.
  21. Yeah, prices pretty normal. I'm having my military truck shipped this week. I'd recommend them, but they heavy equipment and military. Very good price though.
  22. I love my Lincoln 140HD I picked up from Home Depot. Welds really nice, I've only used lincoln wire. I've used the crap out of it and got my moneys worth, everything from exhaust repair, body work (on my military toys) and structural stuff. Very easy to use too.
  23. I think you'll find you have to go through the process unless they simply leave.
  24. Buckeye Resumes did mine. He has a lot of HR credentials and very professional. Also provides coaching.
