Longer barrel also typically means higher velocity which = equals more effective range and longer sighting radius so an increase in accuracy as well when dealing with a single projectile (slug). Shot is gonna do what shot does which is spread so choke will have the most effect on spread. I have an 870 with 18.5 a home defense barrel that doesn't have the ability to change chokes. I believe it has what is called cylinder bore or (no choke) and it spreads like mad. If I fire #7 shot at about 7yrds it covers a 2.5-3ft target well. Not much penetration at that range, but you'd give someone a really bad day for sure. Not what I'd say is a clay shooting gun, but I do shoot and hit them regularly with it.

Well test account is up 3.4% on siri today. I want really expecting it to move up today, more like mid next week, but oh well. Ended the day with 4.5% profit.

I'm an old SIRI trader, last time I bought was at 0.40 and still holding onto that lot. I was actually thinking of getting some more. The technicals indicate that its about to move up some more so unless world events cause us grief it should be good to go for awhile. I did just add 10,000 shares in my test account, we'll see how it goes in the coming weeks. What do some of you think about SIRI over the next say 5 years. Myself I'm kind of expecting it to move up into maybe 3-4 dollar range and by then if they don't make a serious overhaul of their technology I see them fading into history. SIRIUS 2.0 was a huge let down with ideas and technology that was surpassed by cell phones and other devices.

This, and you'll never have trouble getting something fixed.

Never heard of them, but read your warranty terms.

I use H&R Blocks tax program. Very easy, and has very good instructions, even for doing lots of investment and business crap.

I use netflix and get the feeling it adjusts to show you want it wants to show you and the search is only from within that list. Makes it kinda suck, but I do manage to find enough documentaries to keep me paying for it, but I watch less than 45min of TV on any given day.

As for write offs, you can expense everything that costs you money for your business and during any work your doing except a few stupid things like the first phone line into your house if its a home based business (that part of the law needs fixed since there are many ways to get voice comms into a home now.) As a business owner your goal is to keep track of as much as you can to reduce your "taxable" income as much as possible.

I use QuickBooks myself for my businesses and investment tracking. If you have any questions shoot me a pm or email. I used to run it as the admin at a computer company and have been using it for years. It works very well, but its a real accounting program that is going to have a learning curve to get it to work well. Also if your a member of PPI they have downloadable "chart of accounts" you can get to help you get started.

I do my taxes myself, I've had them done before because when we were younger my wife didn't believe I was doing it right. $250-300 later she finds out I know what I'm doing. Now my taxes would cost $500-1000 easy at someplace like HR Block so I do them myself and its still very easy. This includes personals for both of us, business, and lots of investment stuff and it takes me a couple hours 1 day a year with HR Block's tax software.

Haha, I know how that would end up. I did a wedding in The Bahamas where the Brides grandfather and father were old pros from the newpaper industry. I tell ya what though, I learned to just move the darn, insert "chair, cord, etc" instead of messing with it in PP. Takes < 10 seconds now, or could be a mess later. I don't count on being able to remove it at all because you just never know how it will be effected once you click the button.

As for negotiating myself I can move my price some because on my site and in my material I post a starting price for an average set of items and a wedding thats going to take me the full day to shoot 10-14hrs or so not counting any driving, and I include the complete DVD. As you've probably found out, there are as many pricing plans as their are photographers so its very hard to say how or how much negotiating any one photog can do.

As has been said, not many are going to hand over unedited files for you to edit. Taking the photos is only maybe a third of the work involved in making nice wedding photos. Another important part is editing, but its "editing to the vision" the photog has during the wedding day. While I take a photo at a wedding a number of things are going through my head about how I want that photo to look when I'm finished and I take note of different aspects to ensure I remember try to get what I want out of the final image once I'm at home a few days later. Yet another important part and probably the most important is that you hire a professional who is going to finish the job. I know you want someone to just take some photos and give you the unfinished product for your friends/family to finish for you, but do consider that it may never happen or may get delayed many months/years for unforeseen reasons. If you'd hired a pro and in my case you'd get your photos within 30 days of the wedding and normally I have them ready within 15 days.

About a decade has been my experience with springs in office equipment as well ie paper feed trays and roller assemblies. I leave all my mags loaded as well.

Yeah no cameras at easton either, I've known several photographers that got run out of the mall over the years. I go there for funny bone and the mexican place but still only maybe once per year.

I don't ever wanna be in that situation, but I guess it won't be my decision. I've seen what drugs can do, my brother is what would be considered a worthless druggy. I guess I'd hope to catch it in time to put some serious effort into getting my kids to stop and learn.

Truth, there have even been a couple of recent cases where a carrier was in a posted area with their weapon and had to use it. No charges stuck in the cases so far though they are within the last couple of weeks/months so who knows.

Yeah Cartridge World for cheap local inks.

I use a Galaxy for work. I think they require a data plan to purchase from someplace like verizon, but maybe you could get one off amazon or ebay and just use the wireless function. As for it working, its flawless. I was kinda worried that the battery isn't removable and that it would crash all the time and I wouldn't be able to reset it, but it doesn't crash, and works great.

Always loved those cars.

I carry an M&P 45 everyday IWB and I won't say its not big because if its not in just the right spot it can be uncomfortable at times. When its where I want it I pretty much forget its even on me. I'd think a 1911 would be a little worse.

I was just reading about scopes, seems the "other" best have been listed, ie Nikon Monarch, Bushnell Elite. I recently picked up a cheaper Bushnell Banner series Mil Dot scope for playing around. I'm not a serious long range shooter at this point, it reviewed well everywhere I looked, and should fit my current use for it.

I also use the LP160's + cybersyncs to trigger them. I was going to buy alienbees, but decided against it due to size/weight, necessity of having power or cords running around to battery packs. I shoot weddings and engagements almost exclusively so portability was the biggest concern.

Flash is easy once you get the hang of it. Mess around with the flash and body in manual modes and see how changes effect things. I also recommend getting the flash off of the camera. Thats where interesting light is made.

How to get concrete 1/2 mile away from the concrete truck

That was cool.
