I have heard that the salesmen at summit were prety awful. from summit customers that have came in jegs. i guess everyone likes to blame their problems on someone else. but i will admit jegs and summit both proably have people who should not be there or dont know too much. but they have to have people that can sell parts.
and im designing the turbo headers, making the crossover and dp. pluming the intercooler and building a 421" motor that im buying now a part at a time. i think its fun to build you own shit at least that way you know its done right.
i built the motor, tranny installed the brake, built the cage tubbed the truck painted the body and interior and well everything else. the only thing i didnt do was bore and hone the cyl. and deck the block.
than i would say the rockers were an attempt to make the cam larger. you could borrow a set of 1.5s and head to they dyno to see if the change was needed. i dont really need the 1.6s untill im trying to shift at 8400. which is on the bottle. i should have some dyno time soon and im going to swap between 1.5s and 1.5 int with 1.6 exh. and see what that gets me. ill let you know. 1.7 is prety high though

how much power is the motor making? most higher end motors need that to keep the exh up. i run 1.52 and 1.6 which is .654 intake and .688 exh. which helps when reving it past 8000. also i am spraying and wanted the extra exh lift and durr.
I see a lot of people posting pics and videos of their shit. but built buy other people. Does anyone in here work on there own shit besides me and rob that i know of? just curious.
hurry up and buy that darn c 4 from me. im thinking abut using the nos 118. for when im spraying only. still run on 112 anyother time. i need just a few gallons for super chevy.
