One further piece of advice: those kittens are young enough that they may not be able to poop or pee without being encouraged to. If you have found pee spots or poop in their area, you're probably okay, but if not....Just wrap the lower half of the kitten in paper towels or cloth diaper, and GENTLY stroke it's belly from head to tail. Make sure to clean them afterward, and believe me it'll be a shock just how much pee something that small can generate!

Mike, my biggest problem with Rick is that he refuses to accept any viewpoint but his own. He is narrow-minded and belligerent, and all too willing to push for legislation from nothing more than his own RELIGIOUS beliefs. He is willing to invoke the Constitution in one argument, then completely defy it in the next because it doesn't fit his views on how the world SHOULD be. I don't give a flying crap if Rick never started a thread in his life. He pushes his views into every thread that even touches on religion, and offends more people than not. Please take my advice and skip anoles. They are tiny and very quick. They are guaranteed to escape. A chameleon is a very good suggestion. They're slow enough not to escape from an inattentive five year old, but still cool enough to hold their interest. Frankly, though, lizards aren't the best choice in general for little kids. You might want to think about hamsters or gerbils, or maybe even a guinea pig. Yes, it means more time cleaning cages, but they are pretty hardy, and less likely to simply drop dead. I'd say a guinea pig is probably the best choice.
