  1. all the valets i know use Heytell. downloading now to check it out. not sure if its cross-carrier but i assume so
  2. I just went from LG Ally to Droid Bionic. I thought I'd have trouble adjusting to touchscreen keyboard but I had no issues. Not for everyone though. A buddy of mine got a really cool attachment for his iphone 4s that is a physical keyboard. its bulky but he likes it.
  3. The original backup sensors: http://forums.aaca.org/attachments/f117/103155d1318542575-buick-roadmaster-estate-wagon-custom-woody-rmw-interior.jpg my mom somehow managed to handle 2 kids first with a Geo Prizm hatch, then a Saab 9000 hatch (both manual) without dying. She's had 2 SUVs since then and hated them both, just got a 135i (manual of course).
  4. See my post up higher. Grado headphones > * if you jump into that $100+ range
  5. PM sent. Not a wagon but it fits many of your criteria.
  6. Never any experience with them, but they sure have a lot of shitty high mile cars for a "Luxury" seller. They probably get a lot of crap cars that no one wants at auction. What are you looking at?
  7. I thought I'd miss my Moss 500 when I sold it. I'd go down to my friend's farm and shoot clay all the time, but I really don't have any regrets about selling it. I much preferred shooting the handgun that I subsequently got and haven't longed for my shotgun. If you think you're gonna enjoy a rifle more, get a rifle. You can talk about the things you'd do to make the shotgun enjoyable but you never know if you'll enjoy using it until you've sunk the money in.
  8. I'm not sure which teams I'm on will be renewing, I'll let them know there's an A leaguer wanting a team
  9. Where do you play? I'm a keeper for a few teams at the Sports Barn, I'll see if we need any extras. edit: also, what skill level? we're usually top of our league in the B level.
  10. IMO if your desire is the mediterranean, choose one general area and stay. That area of the world is so beautiful and has so much history you'll regret doing just a short stay in each place if you're bouncing around a whole lot of ports. I have a personal bias towards Portugal. You can do the white sand beaches of the south for a resort-ish vacation, Lisboa/Cascais/Sintra for the big city with shopping, historic castles, museums, etc, or the Dao and Douro valleys/Oporto/Castel Branco for the historic winemaking areas. Or you can do a couple weeks and do it all. I've also done a tour around Spain; Toledo, Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla, Barcelona, Madrid. IMO it should be every American's duty to visit the beaches of Normandy in northern France. I've also done a road trip from Munich--Vienna--Linz--Salzburg--Budapest--Prague. One of the coolest trips I've ever done, we visited the Eagle's Nest and Neuschwanstein Castle. This is all coming from a history nut though, I wanted to see a lot of the Moorish occupation of Iberia and the fallout of WWII.
  11. Sell gift card, buy a pair of Grados, never look back. http://www.gradolabs.com/page_headphones.php
  12. step 1) go to craigslist step 2) buy used ipod, avoid giving business to apple while still obtaining apple product step 3) enjoy music without acting like an apple tool
  13. Nothing like the scent and sound of white birch crackling in the fireplace.
  14. and the CR transformation to the unholy offspring of 4chan and reddit was completed on 12-21-11
  15. at least the girl had the decency to put a blanket on the hood so as not to scratch it with her bony ass
  16. Ugh no. Still thinking late feb-early april. probably the later side of that. Still no price info either.
  17. I work down the street from Lindsay Acura, they're good guys. I've sold their service manager a car, and my mom's bought a car from them. Always followed up after the sale/service appointments. Plus, when you visit them you can stop by and thrash a FIAT.
  18. This. Everyone wants to pretend they'll defend their home like the goddamn Terminator, cocking shotguns for dramatic effect and blasting baddies through walls. When I was robbed, I had my shotgun in another room and no opportunity to retrieve it. Gun was in my face instantly and there were 2 thoughts that went through my mind: 1) Is that gun cocked with his finger on the trigger? Yes? Ok, not getting it out of his hand 2) Do what you need to survive. Guy made away with a lot, but left me with my health. If I'd had my shotgun, there's a much greater chance I'd have been shot and killed or seriously injured. We all think we're great shots but just like you never truly know what's under the hood of the car next to you at the red light, you never know the capabilities of a home invader until you push them too far.
  19. Yes you can. With blind fanatical religious fundamentalism, you can deny ANYTHING LOGICAL!!!!! http://cltampa.com/binary/dddc/cover3-1_38.jpg
  20. No you can't. You can go online and click a link that says MSRP: Blah blah blah but you go into a dealership and find that A) they've sold all of theirs or B) they're marking it up waaaay above sticker. They only brought 300 to the U.S. my old man was trying to get one but ended up with a euro delivery 135i.
  21. Different hazards. Would you rather live with 20 grizzly bears in a 5 mile radius of you, or 20 armed crackheads and dealers in a 5 block radius of you? I'll take the grizzlies. That said, I think those guys are underpaid in Alaska. Seeing one ep where a guy called to complain about his neighbors shooting guns, only to see the troopers have to walk up to the house due to snow with little to no protection or knowledge of the alleged offenders makes me shudder. Seeing them go back to the original complainer and explain to him that its perfectly OK for his neighbors to shoot all they want as long as its not at his house was hilarious though.
