  1. Shelfs full of failure?
  2. The Cardaq plus IS the passthrough pro II, we have different software that makes finding the downloads at the OEM's website easier.
  3. No, I have no problem admiting shortcomings. I've spent a lot of time with both of these tools in the last few months, not read about, spent time with. The Verus is hands down a better tool. CJ, take your car to a shop, your not going to find the fix over the internet.
  4. Thats funny, Drewtech makes the Cardaq (passthrough pro II) which is OEM validated, ironicaly enough I don't see the pegysis on any manufactures websites. Check it out yourself. http://www.motorcraft.com Before you go touting the wireless you should do some research on how well thats worked out for shops who have bought the units. Seriously, do reasearch. Why limit what the techs can do? Ohhh, because it's a closed Linux system. They have limited access through a SPX server and Identifix at an additional cost. Shame they can't look at Shopkey5 online, Mitchells online, or Alldata online like on the Verus, or ever write RO's from their managment software right on the tool. Have you even used a Verus? If you havent then there is no point in going on.
  5. It's half the tool, I would expect half the price. BTW, I work full time for Snapon diagnostics. I am more involved in everything scantools than you could imagine.
  6. To bad it can't go to the OEM websites to download the files needed to utilize J2534, you need a seperate computer for that. Not to mention most shops have no clue, or don't want anything to do with reflashing. Some do, they step up and buy a passthrough pro II (made by Drewtech, who makes the OEM reflashers, only 3 companys manufacture them). or we could talk about troubleshooter vs. pathfinder A true working OS (windows XP) vs. Linux and limited ability that go with that Graphing 16 pids vs Graphing 3 pids I can go on if you would like.
  7. We can go head to head on this, it will not end well for you. The navigator is a Pegysis, I had a OTC rep tell me they released it 6 months to early. The verus blows it out of the water, I had both of them in my hands (well, I always have a verus) a few days ago.
  8. Nice truck I had a turbocharged 94 that made 570/700, I sold it and built my dad a copy of it that makes about the same power. They are a blast once you get them making some power.
  9. If someone is interested just make me an offer and we can go from there...
  10. I would start by going to a straight lower control arm. On a 275/60 you should be able to go into the 1.4's before you have issues on a car that light. Have you had the car on corner scales? The coil overs might need adjusted to transfer correctly. What rear springs? I would use Eibach drag launch rears, or at a minimum 4 cylinder springs. Whats the pinion angle at?
  11. I have the same gun and I'll end up with a ankle holster.
  12. $850 This thing is backordered just about everywhere.
  13. What does it 60'? Are those 275/50/15's? You should be able to get DEEP into the 1.5's with those tires, work with the suspension setup and tire pressure some more.
  14. Exactly! Congrats Brian!
  15. Like new, I bought it and just havent used it very often at all. Has oe installed windows XP, 250gb HDD, 3gb ram, 2.1ghz amd. Looks like new, still have all the original boxes, I have probably used it a total of 4 hours. Awesome little computer, I just dont use it. Same as this... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8893058&type=product&id=1211587729489 Asking $900.
  16. Viral. places are getting creative to get hits for advertisers.
  17. I hope you arent going to be using that flex-fan finger remover.
  18. Don't get hung up on the forged pistons, breaking pistons is almost never the demise of these engines.
  19. I bought a nice stove and dishwasher (around $350 for a nice whirlpool dishwasher) from there. I got a Kenmore dryer from sears for a better deal then anything they had there, shop around and make sure it's a deal....
  20. Napa sells them, they are tough to find but they do have them, I think they call them a seal kit. I've gotten many from them.
