.020 is a little tight for a big boost turbo motor depending on piston material and bore. I'd look into that. The difference as far as face area exposed between .020 and .025 (what i normally run) is negligible.
Used but works fine. I switched to att so I no longer need it. It has some scratches and nicks on the back. Comes with a plastic holster.
Asking $140 but I have no idea what it's worth.
I went a few years ago in my truck, it was a blast. I pedaled the entire track, otherwise it was just sideways. I think I ran a few mid 13's at 120+. It was the last time I had it at a track before I sold it.
Precision actually replaced the compressor cover when it was rebuilt, thats what they used. It is a precision PT64E.
My precision GT4788 doesnt have precision on the cover either..
It's a straight forward swap except for the fact that you wont find a hood to cover the blower...
Otherwise just bolt it in, the only difference between the 5.4 and the 4.6 is deck height.
The Volvo's are nice. Make sure never to rotate the tires, if the front tires are a hair larger than the rears they destroy the drivetrain. They have a few other small issues but nothing major. Besides the ability to destroy the drivetrain with ease.
Post on craigs list or I think someone here had one for $100. Just keep in mind with a decent one you'll use a SFI bellhousing which is a bit bigger. You can get a PA supercomp without a belhousing for around $2400 from Jegs with an anything goes lifetime warranty. You end up with around $4500 in parts with a decent converter.
No overdrive and a full manual valve body however.
