  1. Before you wrap it, soak the wrap in water (get it wet), you'll be able to pull it tighter and then it shrinks when it dries. It's also not as dusty while you are wrapping. I just use saftey wire and saftey wire pliers to secure the ends.

    WTB 9mm pistol

Kahr makes a decent gun, they are far from junk, IMO.
  3. A C4 should fit if a T5 fits.....
  4. You would go faster with an automatic by a large margin.

    CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. You can find a used complete shortblock with a good block for $2500, if he did a main girdle, he is going to do a full rebuild because you need to line hone the block if you run a girdle. So he would be investing ~$1200 into a block that isnt going to support much more than stock.
  7. It's worked in the past...
  8. It wasn't that bad. I drove from Delaware to Galloway at around 40mph, 270 is worse than the side roads.
  9. So its using a 9" center. Thats a lot of work to say you did something that at the end of the day means nothing.
  10. So they are using a Ford 9" (Solid rear) to go after the IRS record? That makes sense.
  11. Just tripple squares, buy them they are cheap.
  12. Bah, there is a lot more that goes into it than that. You can run some big cams on stock pistons depending on how it set up. Always check!
  13. FWIW, I used to work with Jay @ Camhaft innovations, he made several cams for me. His support and followup was horrible and i wasnt THAT happy with his cams, he is very smart however. I switched to Ed @ Flowtech, do what he tells you to do. My car picked up nearly 100rwhp JUST from switching from a CI cam/valvetrain to Ed's valvetrain and cam. Additionaly there is no one cam that works best for every turbo car. There is a whole lot that goes into picking the right cam for a turbo application.
  14. Yes, and you should see it now. Enough with the threadjacking!
  15. I sold it a few years ago, my dad bought a white 94' to leave stock. It's in the picture above. It's a duplicate of my old truck, now with a larger turbo, and much cleaner (perfect) body.
  16. If you want it to make a bunch of power I can help you. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=10&pictureid=43 FWIW, they are not great daily drivers, they all require a lot of little things to keep them 100%, they eat gas, and in stock form they are slooooww. Once you invest $10k or so in them they are fast and somewhat reliable.
  17. Imagine if they did things right!
  18. It's got the right turbo on it. Wrong motor though. I'm shocked its still internally gated at that level. haha.
  19. I HATE the touchpad on a 1525's. I bought my wife one and it sucks, it was $499 at BB a whil back.
  20. (740) 971-4901
  21. Yes I can. :) Probably a little better than that too. If you have the carb I can make the whole thing.

    Oh shit

That sucks. Must have been a lean or more timing than you had thought. Find a JY shortblock and hope you didnt hurt the turbo!
  23. rl

    Oh shit

Be glad you didnt kill it and keep off the throttle until it's tuned.

    Oh shit

Ohh, I thought you had a MP, though I've killed as many "good" turbo's as chinaturbos. How much boost? did you have the timing locked out? If so how much? Do you have a wideband? If so what was the AFR?
