  1. I've made well north of 500 with just a BAP and injectors.

It is Steve's and it did used to be blue. Well, it still is blue, but the red one is his new car.

    Sound Deadener

If your going turbo the car will be much quieter anyway (like more-so than stock).
  5. I have a few 90* filter adapters at the shop. $10 if you need one.
  6. With a 364" motor and the right heads/cam it better make a hell of a lot more than 375rwhp.
  7. Andy? There are 2 of them with very similar combos in the area.
  8. If its a big 1st gen you can buy parts for them online...
  9. The plastic intake crossover. They make a fix intake, but you might as well do a full PI swap (heads/intake/cams) the parts are $1100 for everything and they make good power afterwards (250ish rwhp with supporting stuff). Stock they are dogs.

  11. For the wheels to have speed the plane has to be moving forward. The plane makes the wheels turn via forward movement.
  12. If money isnt an issue use a dart block (or other aftermarket block) to start.
  13. The drivetrains are pretty different, I think the loss comes from the transmission/transfercase/rear end. Yeah, Hennessy's truck was a stock longblock I think, but he's cheating (boost)
  14. If money isnt an issue then have him call ed and have him put together a complete motor for him, if he can do a built shortblock then 375rwhp is cake.
  15. his made 408rwhp with a stainless works full exhaust, ported intake (which hurt, IMO), CAI, and a diablosport tune. I think he is the first to break 400rwhp on a stock longblock as well.
  16. They are nice! One of my customers has the highest HP stock longblock truck.
  17. Then tell him to get out his pocket book. Can it have an aftermarket shortblock? Have him get in touch with Ed Curtis, he'll get him a combo that NA can make that power, it will be easier if he can use a built shortblock, but it can be done on the stocker. http://www.flowtechinduction.com/
  18. He's after top end power, I think.
  19. HEAT at that power level with those blowers makes them unsuitable for road racing, I wish it wasn't the case, but it makes it tough. Guys do it; but there are better ways to get there for a road race car. Mind you, I love KB cars.
  20. 375 N/A on the stock shortblock CAN be done but its really hard. A vortech and some bolt on's would do it easier.
  21. I would use Ed Curtis. Well, I do use Ed, he did my cam and he does all of my customers cams. http://www.flowtechinduction.com
  22. make me an offer on any of this stuff, I just want it out of my shop.
  23. 500-600rwhp. The gaps on the plugs end up being pretty tight though (like .020). They might even go higher than that. I have a full EDIS 8 setup here for a 302 minus the coils if you need one! You can have it dirt cheap.
  24. Exactly. You can see lean misfires in that range, heck mod motor fords will begin to lean misfire around 15.5:1, some motors wont until they are leaner, but you typically will never command anything that lean. You won't end up with perfect driveability, and depending on the control system you might not be able to accurately command that AF in closed loop.
  25. And that will lead to terrific driveability too! lol
