  1. Hmm...is that supposed to be how the corrugated metal walls are oriented? I would think they should go vertical to channel water to the ground better.

Also, easier to join at the corners. Straight edges.

  2. Id have to find just the right spot I think. And figure out how to deal with the humidity.

Everyone sweats in the summer. Get over yourself. ;)

After 2-3 months of living in FL, you'll be surprised how quickly your "blood thins" (you get acclimated to the humidity). Shawn Jones (former OG CR) used to go on and on about how much he loved the cold and it's too hot in FL blah blah blah...he and his GF moved to Cape Coral and I guarantee after a year he won't complain about the heat.

Plus, when you're near the water (gulf, ocean, or big enough lake/pool), it's waaaaaay easier and more satisfying to get cool on a hot day in FL, as opposed to being cold outside and having to heat yourself.

Can't wait to get back to Naples at the end of the month.

  3. I am appreciative of the effort from Cadillac. 668hp, Camaro stick-shift, Mag suspension and a great interior should be a winning combo.

Curious to see what TheSmokingTire and others do with this on the street and track. I still am not a fan of the exterior...too busy and the f**king C-pillar sailpanels look so stuck on. Get it in dark, dark gray, blue or just go black.

  4. These are ugly too. I would really like something to consolidate the AMG and Viper into one car for me too, I'm sick of the musical chairs and compromise. I think Cadillac missed it on the styling.

Agreed. The supercharged 2012+ CTS-V was a flared-fendered aggressor. These look far too tame, and too plasticky.

Plus, I look back and forth and really can't tell what the major differentiators are with each of these, at least from pictures. The last thing Cadillac needs with introducing performance sedans in an SUV world is for people to be confused at the difference/benefit of each car.

  5. <<Corporate bank slug here. I have to pre-register all my stonk purchases and sells. Have to use an advisor for options trading. #insidertrading

Good on these n00bs for profiting on the froth in the market. Well done, I say.

  6. I Should I hot tank the castings, or just run them through the dish washer? Just kidding, I'll probably run them through the dish washer since we're getting ready for a kitchen remodel and the current dish washer will be going away. Although it won't be the first set of heads to go through this dishwasher.

    :lol::lol:

FS used Maytag. Never washed engine parts in it.

    $200 NO LOWBALLERS

    I KNOW WHAT I HAVE

  7. Guys, bringing up this thread again...finally called Flood Heliarc (per Kevan's recommendation as mentioned above) and they said they don't do this sort of work?

Nickey - thanks for the recommendation and will call them.

    Any other suggestions? Possibly locally?

  8. When I had my BMW M42B18 4-cylinder head in for a 3-angle valve job and rebuild, I took it to NAPA on 161. They obviously farm out the machine work, but it was less than $500 for all the machine work, new valve seals, cam bearings and reinstall, etc...and was done on time.

Mike at M&M had the head for a couple of months on the floor of his shop and never touched it.

I forgot who recommended NAPA (Nickey?) but it was a great option.
