  1. No doubt...I hear the same dozen or so songs, but over the last week or so there are a few new ones in rotation.
  2. I don't think anyone on here takes capital punishment with a cavalier attitude, Kerry...it just helps your case by making it seem so. Active shooter, or suspect that pleads guilty/caught red-handed (literally), should be treated as 'shoot on site' in my book. If they give up, even present of a heinous attack, then the courts will determine justice.
  3. XM Channel 18...it's my new summertime cruising station. Anyone else listening to this? It's pretty hilarious how mellow it is...
  4. Geebus...50-60 homes on fire in the area? That's cray.
  5. what's the P/N? Dimensions?
  6. The Explorer PPV has the highest take-rate amongst new police vehicles. http://thefordexperiment.com/the-ford-explorer-americas-most-popular-police-car/ Unfortunately, a high-powered assault rifle can cut through a lot. I'm not sure the higher ground clearance is going to have that much more shelter over a Charger/Crown Vic/Caprice.
  7. I'm looking at the news now...is that the Dallas Police Chief I see at a press conference that looks like Seal's doppelganger with glasses? http://media.gettyimages.com/photos/singer-seal-arrives-at-the-60th-anniversary-of-the-state-of-israel-picture-id529618470
  8. Every driveway I see in UA having work done at the house seems to have Econo Haul dumpsters... Econo Haul Inc Address: 4608 Indianola Ave Ste B, Columbus, OH 43214 Phone: (614) 263-8000
  9. Hooooly cow that is a sweet Fox-body. Fascinating that enough airflow came in through and under the front valance to cool dat 5.0L...
  10. I hear ya, PP. That's a slippery slope. People need to see atrocities going on globally and then CHECK YO'SELF if you want to start accusing others of "silence being consent".
  11. If you're going to shoot anything, shoot your TV. I've been on FB for a couple likes, messages with friends, and CC&C posts. I watched "Gladiator" on Netflix, until I fell asleep about halfway through it last night. Proud to say that - while tragic - I didn't know at all about this until CR this morning. I'm trying to keep friends and family first. This world is crazy, has always been crazy, and isn't going to settle down. If I can't see your face or hear your voice in a personal conversation within a reasonable amount of time...best of luck to you out there because I can't help you or be expected to care. INCREASE THE PEACE.
  12. +1. I've got great neighbors, because even the two d!cks (one attorney, on teacher) still invite us over for parties and give us holiday presents and such. No one is calling people cheaters or yelling at other kids. Will have to watch the video when I get home. I appreciate that I wasn't there - just reacting to your rendition of what happened.
  13. It's just a reminder how the world has changed around us, whether we (as white men, traditional representations of America) like it or not. No guilt intended, or applied. That's all on you, Softy McEmotionalPants.
  14. I knew about ASCMcLaren Mustangs in the 80s, but didn't know they were on 4-eyed, early 80s versions...especially the Mercury Capri. That is cool. EDIT: and then I saw the rust in the lower door edges. :fa::fa::fa:
  15. This article did get me thinking...while the AVERAGE price has gotten ridiculously high, there are some great cars (by 10-20 year historical averages of quality/content) under $20k. I've rented some surprisingly good cheap cars in recent years: Kia Soul, Nissan Versa, Ford Fiesta, Nissan Versa Note, Mazda2...even some crappier cars still have good content for cheap: Dodge Avenger, Chevy Sonic, Hyundai Elantra, Ford Focus sedan. Advertising shows us all driving nicely equipped family sedans (that sticker in the $30k+++ range) but the cars that don't get mainstream press still provide relatively affordable platforms with A/C, stick-shift, 100k+ mile reliability, 30+ MPGs... I still stand by prices being too damn high, but there are options for the modern new-car buyer in the US.
  16. Been saying this for years. Granted, most of CR would agree. I'm glad there's some press around this. I won't begrudge the following: - Cars are very feature-packed and are - in fact - very expensive to develop and manufacture. - Automobile manufacturers are corporations that need to turn a profit. ...buuuuuuuuuuut I'll never forget reading that 8 out of every 10 Mercedes-Benzes that left a dealer lot were leased. Prices are too damn high.
  17. Brian, you're doing great work and I love seeing AMC Lennox in the background like its some sort of cool gathering place for car guys or something...
  18. I'm judging for the arthritis show...
  19. Il send that site along to my coworker.
  20. Well played, Tim. ...and it should be noted that all of Tim's cars are black, Kerry. He's hardly a racist.
  21. Is that Alum Creek beach thing the one put on by Noah Stein?
  22. I'm in for CC&C. Had my son doing Tee-Ball for the last 8 weeks and I'm happy it's over.
