  1. Green Mountain K-cups supplied by my employer...about 5-6 cups a day. :barf: CC&C gives me a tall cup of deliciousness on Saturday mornings. Even our church serves Tim Horton's and it's a step up from my daily routine.
  2. Track Package introduces Brembo brakes and Rays Engineering lightweight wheels. That's what I would shoot for. The coupe is actually built on the same chassis as the sedan, so it's actually legitimately roomy for adults in the backseat. Awesome VQ37 engine and 6-speed manual? Nissan/Infiniti did a great job with the G35.
  3. Kevin Clifford - just repainted my Thunder Gray metallic CTS-V and matched extremely well. I think caseyctsv on the board has a White Diamond tri-coat Suburban...
  4. Yes, thank you Brian. I just texted your wife...meant to reach out to her earlier today.
  5. LOL'ing at the accentuated "DERP" graphics
  6. I'm wondering if he jacked up the truck, unbolted the lugs and had his head in the wheel well (between the fender and top of the tire) when the jack collapsed and crushed his head and/or neck. Understanding how his body is oriented when they discovered him would tell the story.
  7. Agreed. I consider myself to be a "Roosevelt Republican", and the guiding forces driving the GOP give me shivers. Voting us back into the 1880's from a Conservative Christian societal framework isn't going to work. Valid conceptual points above. I'll take that to the bank as well. Good thing is - for as screwed-up as modern Earth is these days - America is still a great place to live. AGREED. Good or bad for the GOP, I feel Trump is exactly the candidate they deserve. :gabe: I heard about that...gives me concern. I do question how seriously Donald Trump is about the job. BUT, then I realized Obama had even LESS experience before running the country for 8 years...
  8. I used to love Jalopnik, but the political bend Gawker's taken this presidential campaign season is really annoying. Over the last couple of weeks I've been getting more of my car news/commentary from TTAC and AutoBlog, and nothing is missed. If anything, I'm getting more automotive info/less snarky commentary than Jalopnik. I do like Tavarish's build/fix updates, but I get that on YouTube. TL;DR -> Bye, Felicia.
  9. Damn you, salty roads! That's a good looking truck. I'd throw another head on it like Kerry said. Unless you're gaming the system you'd be in over the cost of a reman'd head just in tax title and license on another winter beater! RockAuto has headgasket kits for $38 (with other intake/exhaust gaskets and seals)...I'm guessing that it shouldn't be too difficult to replace with that open engine bay...
  10. I think people just needed to hear that the district city councilmen would get paid $80k a year (all 25 of them) - as well as Coleman shooting down the idea - and people NOPE'd out of that one...
  11. I don't have the fronts done...went out of town this past weekend and will be back in tomorrow. In addition to the crunch for time, I wanted to make sure the system held air!!! Looking forward to finishing the fronts soon. More updates to come!
  12. I got a lot of it at Romano and Rookery Bay yesterday, if that's what your implying...
  13. Ended up getting Permatex thread sealer, and took the tank out to redo all the fittings. Also finished the cups for the rear springs and ran lines from the cabin to the back. Marathon Friday wrenching session. I'll just leave this here. http://imgur.com/B54xpFkl.jpg http://imgur.com/I5fSxeQl.jpg Drove it, let it sit overnight. Zero leaks. Tank and bags hold air perfectly.
  14. I've spent time working recently on a 1983 Chrysler LeBaron that has the Mitsubishi 2.6L in it...might be the longitudinal-to-transverse application Chrysler did to make it work in a K-car but it's not my favorite engine and it's a pain to work on. Is the Trooper carb'd or FI?
  15. Love dat four-eye Fox Body!
  16. Hey Brian! Sorry for the delay...I would welcome the use of your spring compressor if you could bring it to CC&C tomorrow...
  17. http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/news/a27834/yep-flyin-miata-has-already-crammed-a-v8-in-a-2016-mx-5-miata/ From an elevated hood shot, the front end looks a lot more devilish. Very cool package. Definitely pricey, but I can't imagine how fast this thing must be...
  18. Dude, that Shadowline stuff looks perfect. I used to have a Honda with the black paint peeling off of the chrome window trim...this looks like a great solution.
  19. Well done on the entire package!

    Elio

http://www.autoblog.com/2016/07/28/elio-41-states-ease-motorcycle-license/ I guess Autoblog still thinks this is happening... I'm still a fan, just very skeptical that this is still going to be produced.
  22. I said a BETTER TOOL The kit came with a knock-off Locktite 545 product they called "242 Threadlocker". I'm now realizing with a bit of searching on http://www.layitlow.com that I'm supposed to use that for the pneumatic fittings to seal against leaks...
  23. So...as per the usual I've not been able to focus on the Lincoln as much as I'd like, but I'm happy to say I've got most of the air management together. I was able to run air lines in the cabin, and under the carpet, making sure no metal-to-metal points of contact. Routed the switch panel under the dash. Compressors run well and not too loud! Tank is solid and the carpet install looks clean. The downside? When I installed the fittings, I used Teflon TAPE instead of PASTE... every. fitting. on. the. tank. leaks. . . . . . . . . . . . . . ... . . .. . . . . . . . . (<<those are the little air bubbles) So, I've got to pull the tank to reseal the fittings with paste. The good news is that the switch panel and gauges were sprayed with soapy water and everything is sealed there. I also tried to use my 2-piece coil spring compressors and they were unable to pull the springs together enough to remove them. Going to have to borrow or invest in a better tool.
