the junkyard I frequent out near zanesville has a complete LS1 and 4L60E with uncut harness and pcm oh and its only got like 15k on all of it they were asking $4500 for it and don't want to seperate. I don't know if its a good deal or not but I thought I'd pass the info along.

transmision masters in reynoldsburg will look at it for free... if you have the 1-2 but the 2-3 slips the trans is most likely bad, however it is all electronically controlled by solenoids and whatnot. you might also see if someone on here with autotap or hp tuners can look at it for you. I cleaned up most of this thread but left rotarded's post. try to post normally in the tech forum we will answer your questions if we can.

Fuck comp cams.... I had a comp cam in my 430 wiped lobes for no reason. switched back to crower with good results. contact gm powertrain and find out what they run in the corvette race cars if its an LS series motor it'll work in your 3800
