  1. wrong answer... if I'm not mistaken marc is waiting for anthony to move so he can swap the new motor in...
  2. buy a welder and some pieces of metal and tech yourself... or check with the local vocational school near you they usually have adult night classes where you can learn to weld...
  3. I didn't mean to start a flame war here.... I just thopught it was neat that comp went direct to the public with 3800 cams... When lunati did that for big block buicks the price dropped a whole lot everywhere else to compete with lunati's new lower prices
  4. I'm not trying to defend anyone but don't you guys mic that kind of stuff before you assemble the engine? maybe I'm the only one that anal when I put motors back together... you can have a keyway welded and recut or it can be fixed with an oversized key.... I'm just asking becuase you can't just toss something together and expect it to stay together when you abuse it.....
  5. derek you should buy that 86 in that listing it has all the parts you need to finish up the 94 you got from me...
  6. if you need a hand hit me up. I kept the motor in my dakota together on a 175 shot can't say the same for the transmission but nobody's perfect smile.gif
  7. like I said I'm just passing out info. I havn't seen anything out there that will suit what I want to do, and no one seems to care becuase its not front wheel drive, but thats no reason to help out my fwd handicapped friends smile.gif I'll make a post when i see how this crower grind works out maybe they'll base line of blower cams on it or something...
  8. I'm just passing out information... I use crower for everything, off the shelf cams are at best a compromise, and they are easy to deal with on custom grinds and technical support... I think bucky is running a comp grind in his lumina with no ill effects...
  9. according to comp cams website you can now directly order cams through them. they don't have much of a selection 2 n/a grinds and one for blower cars but it may be a little cheaper than going through a secondary vendor... I havn't looked into too far yet but thought I'd get the info out there
  10. take it to columbus col-weld on harrisburg pike they can find all the cracks and if it can be fixed they can do it right there in house. its a neat place to check out too they work on everything from 4 cylinders to giant locomotive engines. hope this helps
  11. correct... you can also set the opening bid at whatever you want...
  12. rootbeer first let it sit for a minute or so and then carefully scoop the ice cream into the glass... if it foams you suck at making floats and should just go somewhere and pay to have it made for you
  13. 50 bucks... and you can keep the drivetrain out of it to sell...
  14. ok now you have a picture of what its supposed to look like get out your dremel and do it at home yourself and still save money.... its not like that car is going anywhere till like april anyway
  15. then get an SHO don't waste your time time with the zetec or the duratec

  18. another 300Z? I'm sure this one will look just as good in the rearview mirror as your old one did... smile.gif
  19. file fit rings or total seals if they've moved into the import market. total seals are kinda neat they use a gapless top ring... SRP's are forged you might think about a crower crank kit too if your really going to beat the hell out of it.. good luck
  20. I have all the special tools for doing drum brakes if you like to use them... I might be able to help you with them sometime, gotta see how my schedule is going to work out first though...
  21. yeah drunk on like 200 oz's of mt dew... it is kind of refreshing to just randomly hit things with someone else's car while they are sitting right next to you cheering... smile.gif
  22. here is a list of everyone I know who welds or owns a welder on cr that wants to be listed... if you are not on this list and want to be pm me and I will add you... Tinman Desperado RL Turbotank Bgbdbn dragknee66
  23. the tires are not for me I'm just doing little research for a buddy the powerstroke is more than capable of Z rated tires... he already has two sets street tires and towing tires but they need to be combined, becuase trading the wheels back and forth all the time sucks. some of you have seen the truck already its the white one that was at adams when we went camping
  24. nope not even when instructed by the owner to sideswipe random roadside objects at high speed smile.gif
