  1. I will shed a little light on the quanities he may be seeing. My mother-in-law has about 20 laying hens of different breads. At peak laying season, she normally collects about 3-4 dozen eggs every morning. And the eggs will last much longer than store purchased ones. My best suggestion is to have everyone you know start saving their egg cartions. Depending on the bread of chicken he goes with, he could have some meat chickens ready for butcher about 3-4 months after they are born. Some meat chickens will get so big their legs will break and that is when you know they are ready to be butchered.
  2. Docs are good boots/shoes if you get the ones made in England. The ones most stores have are made in China and are crap. I wear my docs every day to work, but I have an office job. I would not recommend them for a lot of outdoors stuff and heavy work protection. I would say stick with the Rocky's since you have had such good experience with them.
  3. Hey it is a very good idea. I would be interested if my mother-in-law already has a good amount of chickens for eggs and meat. The fresh farm eggs are the best things in the world if you like eggs. I really miss them now and can't wait till they start laying again once it starts getting warm again.
  4. Got a W-2? Then you have to file. Just make sure to mark it that someone else is claiming you as a dependant.
  5. I know the timing sucks, but use your tax refund to get the transmission fixed. If you have any left, put that towards the car. Then hope you can pay it off next year.
  6. I always have wanted to go see a Shuttle launch before they retire. I know time is getting short, really really short. And the Constellation program is not cut yet. But if Obama's budget gets approved, you might as well kiss NASA good bye.
  7. The real test will be Wednesday night againist the Sharks. We will find out if something is different or if this was just a little fluke.
  8. My dog is part Austrialian Cattle Dog, and they are well known for there jaw strengh and habit of chewing. Mine will split a tennis ball in 2 in one bite and thinks it is quite funny. Anyway, Kongs are the way to go. And don't get the red ones, get the black ones if they are heavy/strong chewers. Also a good rope toy works pretty well. I still end up replacing all my dogs toys about every 6 months because they are all destroyed.
  9. Same here. I have been driving around since I got off work on Friday and never once put it in 4x4 in my Dodge Ram or the Jeep Grand Cherokee that needs a new set of tires. Just have to be smart when you drive.
  10. BS, no way the sperm would survive the stomach acids.
  11. Might be an interesting stop for some cool photos.
  12. Let me see what I still have around the house. Not sure if my sister-in-law took all the ones we have got lately.
  13. It is now called AimHi or something like that. But just about any range is going to have AK's and AR's to rent because of their popularity right now.

    Snow Storm

Yeah this storm is a big "maybe" I wouldn't mind a little more snow to play in though. I guess we will just wait and see.
  15. Just add a 3rd row of seating http://www.littlepassengerseats.com/ Someone posted one of these for sale on one of the Jeep forums I am on. I guess it might be something to consider.
  16. I went to Utica High School, and we didn't have school the first Monday of deer season. Oh and PA can keep its 6 more weeks of winter, Buckeye Chuck didn't see his shadow, so we are getting an early spring here.
  17. Not really sure, the wife leaves for a business trip on Sunday at noon, so I guess I have to get something figured out for Saturday. Shit. LOL
  18. As other have said, not many changes. I think the rear end looks a bit more like the Challenger.
  19. LOL I thought the same thing in those first couple photos.
  20. My first handgun was a Hi-Point 9mm. I think I put about 3K rounds through it before I sold it to someone on here. It was a great, cheap gun that shot pretty well. It was heavy, it had a heavy trigger pull, but it went bang every I pulled the trigger. But for the price it was a great gun. I have upgraded since then, but I wouldn't think twice about buying another one. I am planning on picking up a 9mm Carbine soon.
  21. I saw a set up they had for sale at Home Depot for like $150 last year. It was the barrel and everything you would need to hook it right up into your current gutter system. I know I am thinking of doing this spring to help water my garden next year. Anyone that lives in Blendon Township or has Ohio American Water would understand.
  22. My wife ate there last week and said it was great food.
