  1. I blew in insulation in my attic in fall of 2008 and it was dead simple. I got everything from HomeDepot (Lowes has the same deal). Buy 20 bags and get the machine to blow it in for free for 24 hours. The 20 bags added about 12" on top of the roll on stuff that was in there. I had just moved into the house that spring so I had not had the heat turned on at all to that point. Last year the highest gas bill I had was $70. I also have programable thermostat, and keep it at 66 when we are home and 58 when we are away. It took my wife and I about 4 hours and we were done. Now of course blowing it into the walls will take more time, but it is so dead simple to do, I wouldn't pay anyone to do it for me.
  2. I have had Insight in a few of my apartments and never really liked the service. The internet was always slow and the picture was never very good. I was very happy when I moved into my house and found I could get WOW. Service has been great and never any problems. And even though my internet speeds are suppose to be slower than what I had with Insight, it sure seems much faster to me.
  3. I pretty much did the same thing. Worked during those first couple nights until she got use to things. Australian Cattle Dog
  4. LOL that is what I did this past summer for my work laptop. He never takes his laptop off the docking station anyways. LOL
  5. Glad to see that ended as well as it did.
  6. Well my truck should be pretty damn close if not over 300 hp. It is has 390 hp stock at the engine, so it should have close to 300 at the wheels.
  7. Yeah I have read many stories from all around the nation about suicides at gun ranges. But of course suicide rates are a little higher as it is. They are just finding another way/place to do it. Most are doing it due to money problems. If you don't have the money to buy the gun, just go to the range and it is much cheaper. In the end, it is very sad to hear it happening in our area.

    I see no snow!

It has been snowing where I work in Dublin since about 9 am. The heavier stuff started about 10:30 and has not stoped.
  9. I picked up a Savage FX11 last year in 223. I love it and the Acutrigger is a nice feature.
  10. My friends just went through this a few months ago when there apartment was broken into while they were over painting there house they just purchased. Not sure what company they are using, but their insurance company said as long as it is on the police report, they would cover it.
  11. It has been horrible this week on 270 on my drive from Westerville to Dublin. I think this morning the far left hand lane was moving 65 mph almost the whole time. The bad thing about this snow is we are getting it around noon on. So driving to work will be fine, but coming home is going to be a b!tch. Oh and my wife has to drive to MI tomorrow for work. That is going to suck for her.
  12. I finally got motivated and shoveled mine last night when I got home. I was tired of walking through the mounds of snow to get to the Jeep or the truck.
  13. I don't think that would be to hard to make fit if you don't mind hacking up your center dash and then working with fiberglass to make it look good. I am sure any audio shop would be able to help you out there.
  14. Right now I am reading S.M. Stirling's "Change" series. I am on the second book so far and they seem to be pretty good.
  15. Man you got to watch doing that, you will spontaneously combust, but you let them go all the time, you will depleate the ozone layer. It is all about moderation.
  16. The only other extra lens I have so far is a 75-300, let me know if you are interested in borrowing it. It is good for outdoor shots with a lot of light.
  17. I know a bunch of people looking for one, including myself. Is it a dually? Which cab does it have? Can't wait to see some photos.

    Vances

I haven't been to Vance's in a few months, but I have stopped in to Buckeye Outdoors many times in the last month (friend moved to Hebron). They had signs up all over the place explaining the return policy. It sucks to hear you had a bad experience as Vances. Worst I ever heard was people complaining about the wait.
  19. I read this book as well. Pretty good book. I have found myself picking up and reading more and more, "The end of the world as we know it" books lately.
  20. I have had a ton of friends that have had ear tubes. I know it helped all of them for what ever reason they needed them.
  21. There is a place in Polaris that does engraving, not sure if they can do the golf balls and if they can get them done in time for you.
  22. Yeah saw a set on a car a couple weeks ago. I was like WTF are those?
  23. The Wrangler and Cherokee are only rated to tow up to 5000 lbs. I would never ever want to tow that much with a Wrangler, but they are rated to that much. I would be a little more willing to tow that with a Cherokee, but still I would probably limit myself to around 4000lbs. Next step up would be a Grand Cherokee. If you are really concerned with towing, then I would be looking for one with the V8. They really only get get a few less mpg than the ones with the 4.0L. Both Grand Cherokee ZJ's (93-98) and WJ's (99-04) will tow up to 5,000 stock, but it goes up to 6,500 with the factory tow package (different axle and tranny cooler). Not sure on the newer Grands, but I would figure about the same with them.
  24. Wow that is crazy. My guess is it escaped from someone's farm, but normally people tag them if you are farm raising them.
