the only real way to stop crab grass is to either spray it with a "non-selective herbicide" which will kill anything it touches. so be careful. or to put down a pre-emergence herbicide. it is to late for that one now though. it has to be put down before the crab grass germinates. which is late winter, early spring. have actually seen people put it down while snow is still on the ground. round up is the best non-selective herbicide i have ever used. if you have just massive patches of the stuff you can rent a sod cutter. cut out the crab grass, put in top soil, replant kentucky bluegrass seed. course i wouldn't be surprised if your top soil has crab grass seed also. now thats out of the way. yes its crab grass. the "preventive" is going to do jack shit now. its what i said above, a pre-emergence. it has to be put down before the crab grass germinates. once its started only way i have seen to get rid of it is manually, or with the non-selective herbicide. also crab grass is a lot more hearty then your good grass. which in this area is usually a kentucky blue/fescue mix. oh if you use the sod cutter idea. it wouldnt be a bad idea after you have put top soil down to spray well with a non-selective herbicide. then wait how ever long it says to plant.

i dont care for avg anymore. used to like it, but not so much anymore. i ended up calling Microsoft. did shared session guy went thru and deleted all the virus files and fixed the reg. honestly went a lot better then i expected and faster then i expected. i did some searching on Norton forums and i guess their anti virus isnt catching this virus at all. guys on there were saying that Microsoft Security Essentials was only one they found that was catching it. thank you for input. fast too. ;-) CAUSE: avsoft, avsuite and mhaesxbtssd.exe were the infection files. i didn't take the time to search thru her history and see what my niece was using that got the virus.

sisters laptop has a particular nasty virus. fakespypro. microsoft security essentials cant clean it. have any of you had any run ins with it? and suggestions? i have found info on manually removing it but, it requires some reg edit and other stuff i haven't ever done. if i have to go that far i will prolly have someone with more exp then i do it. thanks for any info.

+1 on both. i am not a conspiracy theorist but, the US seems to be consistently getting horrid calls. they have done great to persevere not only giving up early goals but also game killing calls. i hope they can win a couple in the knock out stage. oh and +1 to the sports section.

i have a couple crates full on the various full 98-99 series. there are some nice muscle cars in those series. they have done some really neat cars.

is it normal for f-18s to be flaying around campus? was helping my sister move and two f-18s were flying around over the apt complex.
