  1. Microcenter - Trendnet 20 bucks
  2. Permit laws are a way for the Government to deny you, your right to protest/picket/assemble. Not having a permit, is not an arrestable offense. It may generate a citation, but it is certainly not an arrestable offense.
  3. I can back up quite a few as well: All of these back up what these kids are doing and have done. They Peaceful, Weren't interfering with business, and were in a PUBLIC Forum/Domain. If these kids were arrested, they would be let go the second a competent attorney got a hold of this case.
  4. It is a US Park - which is considered Public Domain for Rallies and Assembly, unless otherwise posted. The only way you can not Assemble in any area, is if it is Private Property. National Parks/Monuments are NOT private property. What these kids did, was the same as me going out in front of my house on the PUBLIC road, and dancing around. The cops can't arrest me for doing that, period. You think the people who stand in front of the Statehouse downtown, ask for permission? Unless the crowd is going to number in the thousands, where you could interfere with services to others, you have all the right in the world to stand in front of a building and assemble. If you don't like BP Gas, you could go stand on a sidewalk in front of a BP Gas Station and hold your sign up. As long as you are not stopping patrons from using the facility (blocking the entrance or pestering) there is nothing that BP Gas Station could do to you...it is your RIGHT to be able to do this. Just like it is your right to REFUSE searches, REFUSE to give a drivers license or state id to an officer (All you have to do is identify yourself, there is no law that states you have to give them an ID Card), etc..... I am in shock, by how many people think what was done by the Park Police in this video was acceptable.
  5. They didn't break any law. There was no signage posted, as to not allow people to loiter or assemble. A Park is a public place in which anyone can loiter and assemble as they choose. Quote all you want, when it goes to court that is how it will go down. A Park is public domain, and in public domain you can loiter and assemble, without any consequences. Hence why employees rally and strike right outside of company property and grounds If you don't break a law you can't be arrested. You can't be arrested for simply not listening to a law enforcement officer. If that was the case then you could be arrested for not letting an officer in your house, even if they ask to come in. I have and never will allow an officer inside of my house without a search warrant, period. If you feel they broke any law other than "not listening", please show me what it is.
  6. What I find amazing is how some people in this thread go into other threads and side with people being wrongfully arrested, etc.... You can't change your perception of what is right and wrong just because you don't like the people who are being wrongfully arrested. Quite honestly the cops in this scenario, were in the wrong. It is a protected right to assemble peacefully, period. You don't have follow any procedures, it is a protected right (1st Constitutional Amendment). You can't not let people Assemble Peacefully. And since I didn't see any Assembler be violent in nature towards a Police Officer, any charges brought forth on these kids would have been dropped as a violation of the 1st Amendment. I just can't honestly believe the contradictory people in this thread. Abuse of power is abuse of power no matter when or where it is done. You can't be okay with it, one time and not okay with it another. Quite honestly that is why we are in the scenario we are in, with rights in this country. People are willing to forgo their rights because of their personal opinions on issues (Patriot Act).
  7. Awesome. Good job. Jones has a good method there too, with the SetCPU. That is going to help your battery life as well.
  8. If you have insurance. Go to the store and say it was lost/stolen. Pay 100 bucks and now you have a new Tbolt...that is worst case scenario. Did you make a backup before you went to GB? If so wipe Data/Cache/Davlik/Bat 3 times each and go back to that. You will need to place a Froyo Radio on the phone via HBOOT.
  9. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14135194&postcount=2 See where it says "Netflix Update" Download the update, rename it update.zip put it on your SD Card. Reboot into Clockwork Recovery. BACKUP YOUR CURRENT SETUP! Then go to Apply update.zip from SD Card. Lets it work it's magic and BOOOOOOM you has Netflix. A little reading on XDA will go a long way for you ;-)
  10. Thunderbolts Radio can't be flahsed via Clockwork. The Radio in the T-Bolt is stored in eMMC, which means you have to do it through Bootloader....that is why he flashed S-OFF onto his phone when he rooted it.
  11. Radios are flashed via HBOOT and not Clockwork. Rename the radio to PG05IMG.zip put on SD Card. Reboot into HBOOT, and select Bootloader. This will auto initiate the Radio Upgrade, Volume up to proceed. Reboot. Rename your ROM to update.zip, place on SD Card. Flash Clockwork Recovery, reboot into Recovery mode. BACKUP YOUR CURRENT SETTINGS! Wipe Cache, Davlik, Data, Battery Stats 3 times each. Select Apply update.zip from SD Card. Wait....reboot. Let your phone sit for 15 mins or so, so your davlik can recache itself. Have fun. If you really need help or are nervous about doing it, I can help you out next week when I am back in Columbus.
  12. Google Rota Slipstreams.....another wheel that looks exactly the same. Which that wheel is a knock off of the Spoon Racing wheel, which comes in a Matte Black. Guys have been running then on their Hondas forever, and they look pretty good on older Hondas...like your EK Hatches
  13. Glad I am not the only one who thought this. All I have read is shitty reviews. Barely anyone seems to actually like the game.
  14. I had mine on GB for about 2-3 weeks, and never had a brick. The key is how you wipe it 3 x Data 3 x Davlik 3 x Cache 3 x Battery Stats (on a full charge w/ cable unplugged) How i did it, flash the GB Radio while you are still on Froyo (you will lose service, don't shit a brick when it doesn't lock into the carrier). Make sure that Froyo runs stable with the new radio, even though you won't have reception. Flash the GB Rom (I used BAMF Remix), making sure you do do the above wipe procedure. When mine booted back up, I didn't touch it for 10-15 mins (to let the Davlik Cache, restore itself). Mine worked fine. I had a couple random reboots, and power-offs which was my ultimate reason for going back to Froyo. If you don't mind losing the ability to flip from 3G to LTE on the fly, then you might want to try CM7. ROM's are all up to you....I would suggest going to XDA, and reading each ROM. What each one has. I like BAMF, as they have their own 'toolkit' that comes with their rom's, which gives you the ability to adjust many features on the fly, and I didn't see that with any other ROM out there. As far as GB ROM's, with GB Radio: BAMF Gingeritis GingerTheory Those are all pretty good ROM's, from what I have read.
  15. Certainly wasn't for me. Losing the ability to switch between 3g and LTE on command is something I can't live with. I turn off LTE until I need to download something. Then I turn it on real quick - and turn it back off.
  16. How do I elaborate on it? You download the RUU's, you install ADB, etc.... You click on this script which pushes all of the commands and packages to the phone that you need to root it. Instead of you doing it manually....here read the link for yourself: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=996616 <long way http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1009969 < One Click
  17. CM7 is running Froyo Radio's on GB. It has plenty of issues because of that goofy ass combo. If CM7 releases a ROM around the MR2 Radio - then it might be worth my time.
  18. Bump - anyone interested? We need to find him a good home.
  19. They make a 1 click version of the root now. It took me about 35 minutes to do my Thunderbolt. Really downloading all the RUU's ADB, and ROM's is the biggest time consumer. I was running Gingerbread on my T-Bolt, but had some stability issues, so I am on BAMF Remix 1.7. I may try to go back to Gingerbread this week, when BAMF Releases their newest Gingerbread ROM.
