Warped rotors. Tell her to stop hitting curbs too.

pureone is proprietary to Advanceauto. I use Pureone with mobil synthetic. For your beater I would just use the mobil 1 dino oil with pureone filter. Don't cheap out on your oil.

File a complaint on the BBB website. They will have someone mediate between you and the company. The contractor will know you mean business.

Sorry to hear bout the diagnosis, however, since she is religious about her exams there is a good likelyhood that they have caught the cancer early enough. Knowing what she has and how to treat it is much better than living with a disease you don't know you have and living in a fictitious world that nothing is wrong. I have gone through similar things recently just be strong for your mom and always encourage her and stay positive! If you have to cry, cry alone or with someone else, but not in front of her.

I am seriously the master a gear oil. I've learned the hard way. The easiest by far, even easier than the pump someone posted above. Its a pump that resembles that from the soap dispenser in your bathroom, hook up a hose to it and start pumping. It handles the thick oil no problem and doesn't make a mess. They sell them at advance auto, they just thread onto your oil container like a cap. The reason I know this (any of you that have boats can feel my pain). On a boat you have to fill the lower unit with gear oil from the bottom up. It would be the equivalent of filling your oil through your oil pan drain plug, its absolutely ridiculous. I was being cheap and had read some people can just put a hose in the drain and squeeze the gear oil in. God what a MESS! after 2 bottle of gear oil and a dead patch of grass, I spend the 7 dollars for this pump that threads into the oil container (lid) and has a metal fitting that threads into the lower unit. Took about 2 minutes to fill. lesson learned. You will learn this lesson too when you come back to your car and the tape has let loose and because of the fall the cap on the bottle was broken and you have a big mess to clean up and you are out a bottle of expensive lube......i've been there. Just buy the pump!! PS: I <3 run-on sentences.

OK guys, I'm putting my car up for sale. I am honestly just tired of it. Give you the quick history of why I am selling it. In 2006, rebuilt it (large street port). Let it sit for a while because I was graduating and moving. Moved to Indy, messed with it and got it running, BUT it had low oil pressure. I remembered during the original rebuild I had removed check balls from the rotor cooling nozzle in order to get better flow to the rotors, which was fine but I didn't put any restriction in the nozzle which I believed to be causing the low oil pressure. So I pulled the engine and basically rebuilt it again, since I had to take the eccentric shaft out to put in the check balls again. Got it back together and still had low oil pressure. So this winter I replaced the Oil pump and upgraded the pressure regulators to FD regulators (75 psi). This did the trick. The motor is broken in, but has recently developed a coolant leak, into the oil. The engine starts and runs no problem, however. I am honestly just fed up with this car. If I don't sell it I will keep it for a few years till I begin to care about it again and I will just buy a built engine out of a wrecked car or something. The car has also has an odd sound in 4th gear, I was planning to have the transmission rebuilt this year. Also, I was planning to have the car tuned. The problem is that at this point in my life I will end up spending $2000 on a montor, $1000 on a tranny build and $500 to tune it. All so I can have a 12 second car that is too nice to track race and will likely just get me in trouble with the police. Its just not worth it to me I'd rather get something else, maybe an 67 impala or something. I will not undersell this car. I have a spreadsheet showing I have more than 11k into it without the value of the car or labor (so 11k in just parts). I had the car appriased at $10,000 as well. Please let me know if you have any questions, I will be 100% honest with you. Please see the mod list below. I would be careful buying an expensive electronic item online. In the past I have had issues with electronics and being able to just take them back is very nice. by the time you pay for shipping to return the busted one and get another new one you are out the difference. just my 2 cents

I actually chuckled at that. Nice.
