  1. Stretching, or stretched as they call it, a small tire on a wide rim is a recipe for an under inflated tire to come off the bead of the rim, quickly, and usually under cornering stress. The other way, small rim wide tire, this is less likely.
  2. Exactly, this is not only for taxes, but will protect you from people who do not put the vehicle in their name. If you do not fill the buyers info out, and the buyer does not put the title into their name ,you still legally own the vehicle, and you are responsible for the vehicle and actions of such vehicle. You have no way to prove that you legally sold the vehicle to another person. Another point of contention is the taxes, which by having the seller fill out the purchase price is the sellers legal responsibility. If there is a discrepancy between the purchase price and what the state deems the vehicle is actually worth, the seller will be contacted from the state for an audit. If the sellers price and the purchasers price arent the same, the state will come back to the seller, again because it is the sellers responsibility to fill this out. There is really no benefit for the seller to not fill the title out correctly, aside from maybe having the buyer pay slightly more for the car in lieu of paying taxes, but you will have to determine if the risk is worth the reward. It should be mentioned that just because you have filled out the title correctly and had your signature notarized, it still does not mean that the buyer will do the lawful thing and place the title into their name immediately, or at all. To protect yourself from this ,you can and probably should take a picture of your notarized title with all info filled out, unless you would like to take all of the above liability, in which case keep doing it the wrong way.
  3. I think you may have missed the sole job of a notary, it is not "anal" but their only job and illegal if not done. Please read #1 and #2 A "Notary Public" is a public officer whose duty it is to attest to the genuineness of any deeds or writings in order to render them available as evidence of the facts they contain. The official acts of a notary receive credence not only in his or her own state or country, but in other states and countries as well. Although notaries must understand and carefully observe all legal duties and responsibilities arising from their commission, which are set forth herein, a notary is well served to simply bear in mind the overriding functions and purposes of their office: 1. To verify and certify the identity of the person signing the document to be notarized, and; 2. To certify that the person signed the document in the notary’s presence.
  4. . Hopefully he gets some notary to notarized it, because if you haven't signed it in front of a notary, legally you will have to get a duplicate title.
  5. As a seller , the law states that you must fill out the buyers name and address as well as purchase price on the title. If you follow this law he must take the title and transfer it, otherwise it is no good. Also if you have a title that you have not turned into your name, and the person who has notarized the sellers signature notary has expired, this title is no good in the eyes of the BMV. These are two ways that the state guarantees their tax revenue from vehicle sales
  6. I would certainly like to be enlightened on how you magically engineered your turbo kit to be low in torque figures. Since the last time I checked hp is a simple function of torque, always intersecting at 5250 rpm. The one way I see overcoming this is to spin the engine way north of the 6500 rpm range, and with a stock cam and springs is pretty interesting.
  7. First I look at the low torque of 600 compared to the up level of 736 with a BONE STOCK ls1 that makes no sense . I am not saying these numbers cannot be achieved, I am saying that they are either erroneous, or that this is not a bone stock engine. Either way I appreciate the build, not the Bone Stock part.
  8. Well it certainly seems like chad's turbo wheels are very efficient, to the tune of 120% or so. Let's do the math, 1 bar of added to a normally aspirated engine in a perfect world would yield a double in power gain. 1 bar is 14.7 psi, so with the simple math, again in a perfect world, your "stock" ls1 is making 368 whp, which isn't happening.
  9. Seems like an extended amount of hp for a stock ls1 with 14.6 psi. I am having a difficult time with the numbers.
  10. Since Viper's are constructed liked kit cars, the damage that is seen is typically the tip of the iceberg. There isn't much adjustability in the front end parts and they need to align well to Make things work. A light hit on these cars can be time consuming and costly.
  11. " placed the cup between her knees" and attempted to remove the lid. And hot coffee spilled on her sweatpants. so her laziness, for not getting out of the car turns into the vendors problem because the coffee is too hot. Styrofoam cup BETWEEN her knees with hot liquid she has had experience with for years, and too lazy to get out of the car and mix her coffee, or too stupid to just pull the drinking tab and pouring the sugar and cream in there. Stupidity is clearly demonstrated by ones actions, but in this world others are responsible for these idiots.
  12. STFU don't spill it on yourself and blame someone else. The world is not and never will be a perfect place.
  13. From the last picture of his personalized screen,it seems pretty obvious.
  14. Pm Sam that would be your best bet, maybe you can work out something with your car!
  15. What do you do for a living? Not all contractors are like that, but in the past few years the customers seem to be much more demanding. I think it would be a great idea for you to open a contracting business. I believe that everyone should have the joy of owning their own business, dealing with employees, weather, government, machinery, permits, hidden taxes, while still keeping cost low and customers happy. The grass is always greener on the other side, but sounds like it is time for you to dominate Licking county, and maybe the state!
  16. You reused pads with 2 to 4mm of material left, and took the audible wear indicator off? Might as well order some rotors, and pads for when she comes back in a couple months complaining about a grinding noise. Those pads are done.
  17. Not always, you used to be able to register a production vehicle as self assembled if many of the major components were changed. The OSHP would assign a different vin and affix it to the vehicle. The title would state self assembled and would be updated to the year of the inspection. I do not believe this is allowed anymore for anything but actual self assembled vehicles.
  18. Are they leaking yet? If they are you might as well replace the starter or at least the bendix bushing in it. If you don't you may have to go back in for it soon after.
