You can get them on with some swearing and slight bending of the hard lines. Not fun , I did it on a 4 post lift. More difficult than the brake lines. You would be better off going with aeroquip fuel line than the nylon, the nylon seems like it would bend well, if it doesn’t hold its shape and has a mind of its own.

With diplomatic you mean pouring money into their pockets as United States diplomacy does. Just throw money at the situation and call it diplomacy. The more you speak the less intelligent you get. At least he hasn’t been caught in office, oh wait you said that when Clinton did this and lied what did it matter who he was having sex with and lying about it. Sounds pretty hypocritical to me, but you live by those rules.

Sounds like The check valve in the fuel pump is bad and the fuel pump is probably failing -
I would suggest you start the process of changing yourself to a black woman, and move back to New York.

With a name like Kerry I can only guess that your parents were hoping for a girl. That explains why you would think it unfair. There is still time, you won’t even have to change your name.

Yes that works much better

Most of them bitch about paint matching an a panel smaller than 4x4” I certainly would like to see the reaction from a bike frame. I definitely agree that color match can be accomplished, but a it certainly requires a dedicated painter that knows what they are doing. A full paint mix station helps as well. Looks like Kevin can fix the blemishes on your bike, give him a call I didn’t think it was reasonable to fix. Let us know how it turns out.

The runs could be sanded and buffed, but there will always be a risk of breaking through the clear, which requires repaint. The wheel blemish will require the whole wheel to be painted, which requires either spoke disassembly or tedious taping and sanding around the spokes. The parts are so small that an airbrush would be required to blend the blemishes and that may be hard to match the metallics. Most painters will say disassemble and repaint, or leave as it is. The forks and wheel would be the easiest as the paint match doesn’t need to be perfect just close because it does not touch anything with the same color, and those parts are easily removed.

Last time I had one run away , the crankase was full of diesel from a leaking fuel pump.

Paint matches are never exactly the same color. Variances from different paint guns to spraying pressure to atmospheric conditions change the color and the way the metallic will lay down ( which will also alter the color). Painters rely on blending , essentially fading from the original color to the new color, to trick the eye. Metallic colors are especially hard to match. Your best bet may be to call the guy who painted it and ask if he has any extra paint, if he doesn’t maybe he used a certain color code and the paint people here can start with that code. If neither happens, you want to ask which manufacturer of paint he used, as most will vary with metallic size and color as well. The biggest hurdle I see for you on a bike is where to break the clearcoat without painting the whole frame. Blending clear in the middle of a panel always results in a visual blemish, painters always try to stop the clear at at the end of a panel.

And New York City is full of assholes please drive back there.

That’s funny, because I expect much more from you than you can give. I take that back, you don’t even start off reasonable before veering off.

This sounds exactly like what you post. I guess it takes one to know one.

So you are looking for a 25 plus year old engine and transmission to improve the reliability and performance for your 25 year old car? Most of those engines were beaten within inches of their lives, and a working t5 transmission is even rarer. Lots of work for 200whp.

Sometimes you have e to hold the gas valve on for quite some time to heat the thermocoupler up enough to generate a signal. I thought standing pilots went away in the 80s

Again, Colorado may be different than ohio, but here in Ohio it is illegal to sell a car without a title. In order to junk a car here you must have a title in your name. Just because it isn’t reported stolen, again doesn’t mean it may not have legal issues. Without a title, even with a bill of sale, around here, it isn’t legal to sell or dismantle. If you don’t have a title here, scrapping the parted out shell of the car without title is illegal for the scrapper.
-
No title is a big problem around here anyway. Around here you can’t do anything without title. Just because it isn’t reported stolen , doesn’t mean that there isn a bank lien or other legal loopholes. Doing this once or twice would probably not lead to anything bad, but starting a business with this greatly increases the odds of problems.

Hopefully you got a turbo transaxle,

Health Insurance is going to be a big hurdle for you. It's almost worth it to stay just for that alone if you have a good package. Wait, I heard Obama say that health care was going to cost as much as my monthly cell phone bill? Why would he need to figure that in?

I guess you are thinking that because the unemployment rate is low there aren’t any people to do these jobs? The rate is taken from a small demographic of people who actually seek employment, not those able to work. Again willingness to work seems to be the factor. According to your reply, it seems they manufactured lesser quality items back then, and the workforce was just muscle no brains. As was stated to me , “The world needs ditch diggers too” should have resonance today, it it is lost. Not all people are suited to be Nuclear physicists, but all have the ability to achieve goals and assist in society. Finding a way to harness some pride and accomplishment would do wonders, and leave less energy for those who would like to do unproductive things. People taking advantage of systems designed to temporarily help, neither helps them or the people who monetarily support these programs. Bringing outside country work forces in, without concentrating on accentuating the positive aspects of the existing people keeps adding to this issue. Regardless of how complicated,or excuse ridden these issues are made, it is a simple matter of how things work. If 98% or your car is working, but one of the four tires is flat, you simply cannot operate that car. The tire needs to be repaired. If the tire is repaired and keeps going flat, it would be extremely beneficial to determine the cause of the failure and fix the underlying problem, instead of constantly repairing the tire. Same goes for a living being and a well functioning productive society. When your mother cleans up your messy room, she is doing you no justice, unless she teaches you how to do it, and makes you feel good about doing it.
