  1. Just let him go, every time he types he just proves why these problems carry on,please put him in the Dwiggs file,
  2. Not really sure how you got there, but I do believe that more people get their cliff note version of information from the mainstream media. Should anybody have to question the information coming from these people, or do you think you should be able to make proper decisions based on what they are supposed to be paid to do? Many people are leery of internet information, as they probably should be, but coming from the news, these same people will believe that information. Most people won’t research into it, and even if they do who knows if that information is valid. Much of the news is very biased, spreading their opinion by only telling the part of the story that sensationalize the story leaving out small parts of the story that could absolutely change your view of the story. Fact checking, and full unbiased reporting isn’t important to them. This is the behavior that starts separating people, and is a good part of the problem. The other part is and has been for some time is the simple fact that the government is in real disarray, with career politicians and seemingly very greedy people. It’s always somebody else’s fault, and this has certainly spread throughout society.
  3. I may add that I don’t think that the obama gun control would have any affect on this particular incident. I would also add that when I was watching the mainstream when they said that there were 18 shooting incidents this year in schools. With that information only, I was angered, but again the media has there own way to sensationalize. In reality the number was more like 3, counting in incidents like accidental discharge and things like that. While all gun violence especially in schools is unacceptable, from the news broadcast one would think that 18 students shot at school, which is very far from the truth.
  4. Actually it is ignorance to the facts. The obama regulation regarding the gun control. Would have actually targeted only estimated 75,000 people who received social security benefits, more specific those receive disability benefits from mental illness. This is a very narrow group of people, and to be more specific, a very narrow group of poor people, in which you and Democrats seem to really embrace. Again this law was to only affect social security recipients, and a very small part of the public. The real criminals are the media, these people are making a living by just telling the story that offends either group. Very little of it tells the whole story, and it is very biased. There is nothing but nasty bashing, from the mainstream media, and never the whole story. The sooner all people know the actual story the better off we will all be. Basing your anger from mainstream information is the real problem.
  5. From what I see above, the conservative people having a discussion, while the liberal spews nasty personal hate remarks. This is all I seem to see and hear on the media as well as from democratic liberals. I never paid attention to this, but as soon as I did, it was crystal clear as in the replies above.
  6. Well since you mentioned children in your life, and since you have the horsepower game in check, may I recommend applying some effort in safety. You always get a warning in life, and it appears that you may have received yours a few years ago. With children, the areodynamics of a Colt, and land speed records in the same paragraph,a life insurance policy may not be a bad idea either
  7. Water pump to block gaskets go bad around 120,000 miles or more . Sometimes it is the pump seal as well.
  8. I believe only the 2000 and prior had the different crank and iron heads
  9. 136% to 0% not happening, crossover tube or plug gasket head gasket or heater related items
  10. If you are building on a budged, the engine, while usually a higher ticket item, gets overshadowed by the many $50 $100 items that the rest of the project will consume. The only reason I would consider a 4.8 is if it was going to be turbocharged, getting 400 hp naturally aspirated is costly.
  11. Not slinging parts at an 11 year old 100 thousand mile BMW? Most of the suspension parts in a BMW have engineered in shock counters that disable the component shortly after 80 thousand miles. I would prepare yourself for clunks, noises, increased tire wear, and more trips to the repair shop. I strange suspension noises are sometimes hard to detect, that’s where the slinging comes in
  12. There's a complete f body ls1 on Craigslist with auto trans(which you don't need) for $2000. While this may sound expensive, by the time you purchase a 4.8 or 5.3 and Fbody oil pan( can't use the truck one too deep) intake manifold and fuel rails, and buy the correct front accessories for the truck engine you will have surpassed this the 2 grand. You will also be able to use the f body pcm and harness with little modification. There's nothing wrong with a 4.8 or 5.3 but if you can buy a complete pullout it may be better. The downside to the ls1 is that it's 20 years old (1998)
  13. Stay away from "all gay" cruises and large amounts of GHB, and stick with driving directly into tornadoes. These ideas of wisdom from the webpage will allow you to live longer than 38 years.
  14. Yes shitty plug wires, and a crack on the coil . I chased this problem and put advance auto wires on a vortec. Wires looked fine but were crap after less than a year. They were all placed in the correct holders and run neatly. Blew the muffler apart a couple of times from crossfire allowing a backfire. Never suspected the wires, because they were "new". The coil crack was a different truck, but showed consistent but weak spark.
  15. Lt1 is 60 plus year old technology, ls1 while still a dinosaur at 20 plus year old technology, is light years ahead. Flathead vs ohv, I would rather have a stock 4.8 Liz than a heads cam lt1
  16. You are a absolute condescending asshole that thinks he knows everything about everything , But as proven from your posts on a racing forum, you really are limited in your knowledge. You do however have a great ability to stick your head up your ass and leave it there for extended periods of time, which could explain some things
  17. Absolutely 100% correct. They all push their agenda while conveniently omitting information that could sway that agenda.

    Night Sweats

I would say menopause, is your vagina somewhat dry as well?
  19. Old snowmobiles are everyone’s Achilles heel, they are hard to test in the non winter months and always fail when it snows. Some of those Alaskan shows have people who seem to travel deep into the tundra with 1970’s snow machines, and get out alive. They certainly have more patience than I do.
  20. Socialism certainly works for people who have a hard time making correct decisions for themselves and their surroundings. Removing options limits the amount of incorrect decisions these individuals can make. Socialism doesn’t seem to work for people that can make correct decisions or at least commit to the outcome of these decisions. Lots of people need to be led like livestock or their decisions become very poor. This is magnified in highly populated areas, for obvious reasons. It seems that these people also get tired of the socialist outcome of their surroundings and seem to relocate, bringing their beliefs and poor decision making strategies with them. They will also rely on the correct decision makers to pull them up the hill. Not being pulled up the hill is a problem for most, even though with some effort on their own they could make the journey on their own.
  21. Why is it that you don't return to your beloved New York? Taxes too high, too many people, too many rules, maybe it's just less expensive here to live? I wonder how it got that way? I would be willing to bet that you definately have had more than a beer bottle in your mouth, many times. With that being said , a virus like you can even ruin a forum for car discussion, just think what you will do for Ohio.
  22. I have always found that mounting the muffler farther downstream makes the exhaust louder. Closer to the engine seems to increase the sound deadening ability
  23. Have you checked the crank seals, sometimes this can lead to poor part throttle performance and can be compenasated with air idle adjustments that mask the leak.
