Yes getting on public courses can be a pain. I work for Nike Golf as Tech Rep and in my own capacity of club fitting and equipment sales. I am not a huge fan of Worthington Hills, mainly due to the staff, the head pro is annoying to me, and in general rubs me and many others the wrong way. I have worked demo events there for 3 years, and its always the same so to speak. This isn't to say he may not treat his members in such manner. The course itself is very nice, well kept, low rounds, and they have a lot of nice member member and member guest events to keep it fun. The greens known to me on the fast side, but again depends on the day. It is a "older" crowd club, and they are trying to turn that image over currently from what I know. If I had to make a recommendation on private clubs around this area I would consider these three in this order. Wedgewood - Their rates for junior members and such are MUCH better then any one expects, they have food min's but the club is awesome. The course is fantastic, always in excellent condition. If you want social and golf, go here. Jimmy the head golf pro is a great guy as well, super nice and accommodating. The Lakes - Very similar to wedgewood, although I personally like wedgewoods course just a little more. Again junior rates are great, and referrals get you a better deal for the first 1-2 years. Social aspect here is excellent as well, and Eddie the head pro is very nice and helpful to all. Tarten Fields - falls just behind these two for me, great head pro, great kept course, great location, little more expensive though. (If you're and OSU alum, or a course to consider, Scarlet, IMO and many others the best challenging course in the outer belt. The Nationwide tour plays here. Its and awesome golf course, and club house.) In my opinion I would stay away from Kinsale/Scioto Reserve...They are the kings of "hidden" fees and not letting you out of your membership after you get annoyed with the club. I like Marc mentioned like Scioto better then Kinsale, they do have PGA qualifiers at Kinsale every year. My .02, for what its worth, I have a interesting perspective working with and for many of these clubs, which can be different then being a member.

I've been to them all in one capacity or another. North Star is nice, long and fairly open. Bent Tree, nice mix Royal American, nice mix little out there but worth it IMO New Albaney Links, avg course, but nice Glen Ross, Flat Open, Decent Golf Club of Dublin, really similar to glen ross IMO Black Hawk, Nice old club, again decent mix of holes Eaglesticks, about as nice as public can be Jefferson is good Cooks Creek, okay track ect Most of those courses are normally well kept and run fairly good. http://www.dispatch.com/content/sections/sports/golf/golf-directory.html If you have any questions, golf is semi what I do now-a-days so I can make recommendations. If you're close to a country club, man they tend to be the best golf, playing many to all of them in Columbus spoils you for public course, even if you're average like me.

Call Jon Moore - Moorespeed performance (614-563-3878) he is not too far from you and is great with MOPAR's, and his pricing will be more then fair for the market.

Ill snag it if you want to meet in columbus somewhere

FYI there is a run on russian 7.62 and russian steel ammo as a fall out from all of the overseas nonsense. Friendly FYI of how the ammo market turns. FYI 22LR is still in LARGE demand, its not close to back yet.

Where can you buy land on Africa in that segment? More curious then anything, I know there are two houses on the corner of Plumb and Africa. I will say I grew up on South 3bs and K, and Africa now is like a freeway, cars are going to travel at 60 MPH and all the time. I try to avoid it riding my bike now for the most part as the traffic has increased a fair amount. Its a great area there with all the state land, the lake, and the trails with in 1 mile.

Ive got around 6k rounds this week from Cabelas, its trickling back in, however I was doing some research and theres a small push right now in inventory but there is to be "a shortage" again for a while until early summer.

Rumor floating around Joel Hale is moving to the O-line...

they are still rationing quantities sadly... 233 and 556 is all back in stock at cabelas as well, however pricing is still a little on the high side. Let it sit for a bit longer and it will drop a wee bit more I reckon. I got 5k rounds last week as well, picked up 2k today that came in from Cabelas already.

there is and alley right by "the vault" down town that we took wedding photos at in a wedding party I was in.

I did not...To poor atm to justify having one so to speak. Just got a PSA lower with magpul stock and grip (identical) a Daniel Defense upper - gas system and a DD barrel and NSR rail. The goal was to make it look like a clone yet be slightly more affordable with out getting just crap parts. (this is the upper though it has a 15" NSR rail on it, and 16" barrel currently, until I can lay my hands on the KX5 hider and then I will have the barrel cut down and pinned to 13.7") http://www.pkfirearms.com/select_options/new/2497 Although now that I have a gun to play with, I will slowly hunt down the parts needed to make a "real deal" ... and a stamp to build a "johnny" rifle. Thing is slick, love the foliage color and build of that gun, and I think I can build a clone for fairly cheaper then buying it complete. Who knows, thats a wee bit off - 6 months.

I guess I could care less on money spent... SO if it was me, I am a Noveske fan boi - I like their stuff. I modeled my build (being a cheapo) after their infidel rifle...It should be back from coating any day now. But will look like this less the optic, i got and aimpoint pro and unitl I can one, a KX5... http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0259/2561/products/STCK5768_A_1_1024x1024.jpg?v=1387205936 The rancher is pretty cool http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0259/2561/products/TR_GUN_2_1024x1024.jpg?v=1382382472 In general I really like their brand. These guns are really like cars, some people want to buy vettes, others want to buy a camaro and dump $ into them...to each thier own who cares. My next build will be a matched billet set up, only for the "it" factor...no fucks.
