  1. g/f's neon has 14" wheels. I found a set of 14 steelies for $10/set on cl. However, tires seem to be cheaper for 15's. What size tires would I need to run to match the 14" size? edit-maybe I read it wrong but the steelies for the neons are 15's right?
  2. Complain about spelling. Ignore capitalization.
  3. cannot find the leak at all. Only thing that looks like it is/was leaking is the water neck where it meets the head. Other than that everything is dry
  4. at least you know where the leak is lol
  5. any harm in using these? Oh yea after long trips when walking in front of the vehicle. I don't think it's a big leak whatever it is..
  6. I have not found any wet spots. I won't be able to check until she gets home, but it'll be dark so my odds of finding it tonight are slim.
  7. had an 87 new yorker with a 318. Shit rode like a caddy. Loved that car.
  8. I'm trying to find a leak not fuck a fat girl lol
  9. would you guys trust something like this? I won't be able to search more for the leak until tomorrow. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-0-Dodge-Plymouth-Chrysler-SOHC-Timing-Belt-Water-Pump-/220782831620?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1998%7CMake%3ADodge%7CModel%3ANeon&vxp=mtr&hash=item3367aea804 I already have a heater core here so if it's that I won't have to buy anything
  10. yes. which is why I am hoping it's not the pump
  11. 1998 neon SOHC Noticed a couple of weeks back that it's leaking coolant. I've did a quick checking a few times and have yet to see any leaking coolant anywhere but I have had to top it off a few times since. I read online that most commonly on these it's the radiator hoses, water pump of the metal lines for the heater core. Last year we suspected the heater core was leaking but just dumped some stop leak stuff in and never had a problem. I never see any puddles on the ground but the g/f said she has once when leaving work one night. My questions are. 1. If it were a water pump, wouldn't it be a fairly large leak and easy to spot? 2. If the heater core, wouldn't the floor be soaked? 3. If it were something like a head gasket there'd be coolant in the oil or it would smoke a lot, right? It does neither. Shit could have one this while it was warm instead of when winter hit lol. This thing has to last until tax time. Then it's to the crusher lol
  12. Can't say for sure but I do believe they're the exact same. Although searching yielded different results saying the cables are the same but the mount is different?
  13. hit up the industrial parks in heath. Gummer wholesale is always hiring
  14. she ever actually driven one? She might change her mind once she has.
  15. success! Came with adjusters and bulbs. I can see now while driving her car. Just need to raise than up a tad.
  16. still haven't ordered the relay. Still have it rigged to the other fuse slot and it hasn't given any problems so far. Might just leave it since the slot doesn't seem to be used for anything else like the other one was.
  17. 98 neon For the last few years the fan has been rigged with a wire running from it to the ac/heater fuse. Here lately it's been causing problems and last night it decided to melt the fuse, plastic and all so neither the fan nor the heater was working. I'm ordering a fan relay online but need to rig it for the mean time and the fuse hole is burnt on the one it was in so I'm not using that again. For now, it's in a slot named power door locks but the car doesn't have them? My question is, could I just use the wire for the fan relay? Just go back behind the relay and splice it in so it stays on when the ignition is on? I'm thinking this may be better than using a fuse.
  18. is it common for places to sell the housings without adjusters? Seller said adjusters are not included which makes i not worth getting. Wondering if they are included with any of the ones on ebay
  19. you're welcome. Will let you know when shipped http://i.imgur.com/JrHWb.gif
  20. pulling the trigger on them here shortly
  21. something a little brighter/clearer than OEM for these country roads
  22. Thanks Mike. Looks like they're worth a shot. Will most likely go ahead and get some better cheap bulbs too.
  23. I've been searching a bit. From the looks of it this is my best route price wise also.
