  4. I know she does, but why do we need to know about this situation? I don't know either party so I'm not taking sides with either one. I have met a Brian from here but I'm not sure if this is the same one. Just seems she's overreacting a little that's all. I wouldn't care. I'm swinging at average. http://smiliesftw.com/x/embarassedwavey.gif
  5. Or this is why people who participate on an online forum need to realize anything can and will be posted and a thick skin is needed. Ever thought maybe you need to lighten up a little? Seriously, have you reread any of your posts?
  6. http://i28.tinypic.com/2exsf29.jpg This is why couples should not post on the same internet forum.
  7. how's that going to be any safer? You still have to deal with people who don't pay attention while driving, deer and other animals, gravel on almost every turn, etc. Bikers go down all the time out here in the country for those reasons. If anything it's more dangerous out here in the country.
  8. Drove it down the road today. Everything seems to be good except the grinding in reverse. Don't think it's an air in the line, I'm thinking it's the transmission.
  9. Boondock saints was awesome, however, there is no need for part 2 and it will suck.
  10. yea 1st-4th seem fine. I haven't had it on the street yet, just up and down the driveway. Days prior to my clutch breaking reverse was grinding a little. 5th seemed a little too easy to get into but it didn't grind.
  11. another question. I bled the clutch 4 times ie. push 3 times hold on the last. Truck moves and everything but grinds a tad in 5th and more in reverse. Reverse grinds pretty good. Should I bleed it some more or assume the synchros are bad?
  12. I've never had to give a title for any of the cars I've scrapped either.
  13. everything is right. Had to have been an error on my part. Left last night to go get something to eat and I guess my moms b/f and his brother came over and tossed it in while I was gone. Still haven't went out to look at it though. Hope the thowout bearing is set right. Not sure if I'm going to be able to tell or not by looking through the little slave cylinder window or not.
  14. probably going to have to take the steering wheel off to get to the screw/lock
  15. failed again today. Spent about an hour on it. Looks like I might have to pay tow truck fees to take it 1/4 mile up the street and have the transmission shop throw it in for $100-$150 http://smiliesftw.com/x/gtf-on.gif
  16. don't have a way to get the truck that high. My jackstands won't do it. I'm just a small guy anyways, I'd probably hurt myself haha
  17. lol yea, none of my friends are mechanically inclined. There's a transmission 1/4 mile up the road. Talked to them about an hour ago and they said they'd do it for $100-$150 but are pretty backed up. Told me if I need them to just come back and he'd try to squeeze me in.
  18. regular 4 ton jack lol. My tools are limited. It's got to be error on my part but man it's pissing me off.
  19. Clutch is aligned, pressure plate bolted down and the bellhousing is mounted. I cannot get this fucking transmission to go in and it's got me to the point where it's almost time to start throwing wrenches. Maybe I'm not putting the transmission in straight since it's only me doing it, I dunno.
  20. if you still have this in a couple weeks I'd be interested. Bad timing though:(
  21. lol who are you over there? edit-Ichabod Crane? Advance tried to sell me some synchromush or some shit for $18.99/bottle lol So just normal dexron 2? Goos thing I didn't bur gear oil then haha
