  1. Does that mean you want him to grope your boobs? graemlins/wtf.gif
  2. Why is it anyone elses responsibility to pay for your education?
  3. I bought a CD player that plays burned DVDs with mp3 files. I can fit 2800 songs on a single disc. It also has a Line In jack on the front for a direct connection with an iPod or external CD player, or even computer/whatever. It was $300 from Circuit City.
  4. That's a sentence fragment. [/irony]
  5. If an animal is made extinct or less populated by other animals eating them or destroying their homes, how is that different to people doing the same thing to animals. We are doing what comes naturally to us as well. We have a natural instinct to disperse and consume, and that causes some animals(the weaker or dumber ones) to become endangered/extinct. I don't see the difference. Mother nature corrects her own wrongs. If we reintroduce species that are endangered/extinct, and they die, we have lost nothing but our effort. If we do nothing, a species is wiped off the face of the earth. Besides, why clone animals like sheep, but not the animals that need more numbers?
  6. Yeah I saw that yesterday. What does everyone think of cloning endangered species, in an attempt to repopulate them? Ethical, or playing God?
  7. May I see a drawing of your system, and how you hooked it up please? You can PM it if you like.
  8. It won't cool at all, it may overheat, and it will definitely cost more money and time than it is worth to attempt it. The cold air will fall to the ground almost immediately, and will be dissipated into the warmer air just as quickly. What you need is an air handler. They cost about $20k. Would you like to know more? [/starship Troopers reference]
  9. They work very well with fans, and if you have a ceiling fan make sure it's set to GOOD instead of EVIL. Or wait, I mean summer, and not winter.
  10. Sounds like gear whine from the tranny to me. Something is misaligned inside, causing uneven surfaces to mate. It may be possible to salvage it if you stop driving it before it goes Kablooey. You also don't want to wear a new pattern into the gears, causing whine after it gets put back together.

  12. Albert, my argument was in reference to his satement that "no power is needed for acceleration", not this engine which obviously uses rolling mechanisms. The rolling mechanisms are nothing like a train wheel, which has thousands upon thousands of pounds of perpindicular force acting upon it. The very idea that it would be anywhere near frictionless is laughable.
  13. I control my wife with an eccentric shaft...
  14. Every gear or only certain ones? Any specific RPM range or all the time?
  15. Problems with your argument: </font> A train wheel is a poor example. The train does not slide across the rails, the wheel rolls.</font>A train wheel moving down a track creates a HUGE amount of friction. Ever feel how hot a track is after a train passes? How is heat generated in the track?</font>Trains are very inefficient anyway; lubing the track would not even begin to cover the losses of energy created by friction in that system.</font>There is going to be more oil required than in just the bearings of the engine.</font> I would take the time to explain these things in detail, but since you form sentences such as: I think it might be a waste of my time.
  16. I don't see that listed. Or here:

    WTF

Then how did you type 14? If I'm not mistaken...1 and 4 are higher than 0. I'm no mathematician, but I can count to zero.
