  3. I changed my plugs tonight and did another compression test. Somehow I made it to 800 miles. Amazing. Anyway, now I've got 135 - 179 - 180 - 179. Is there any reason not to use this (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=94190) as opposed to the $75 one at Jegs?

  6. If you can remove them from the car, you can put one hand on the rod of the slave cylinder and with your other hand push the rod in on the master cylinder. Pushing the master cylinder rod in should force your hand away from the slave cylinder. Also, with no clutch fork pushing back on the slave cylinder rod from the pressure of the pressure plate, it's not going to push the pedal back. That could be a little confusing, but I can't think of any other way to test it without pulling at least the slave cylinder.

  11. Well it was nice to finally see some people. It's been a while. I think I saw Hal (yellow Mustang?), talked to Pat and Mike, but I had to go right inside and eat because the g/f was hungry.
  12. Not quite. Just tired of working 55 - 60 hrs a week and getting paid for 40.
  13. The time has come to move on. Currently at my job I do ColdFusion 8, PHP 5, MS SQL and MySQL, Java application/applet development (no J2EE experience), and other random IT stuff. I'm looking for something within those area, preferably ColdFusion or Java. Hook me up.
  14. I'm not sure what nut I am looking at in the pictures, but if you haven't found a solution yet I can tack it up for you. I'm in Grove City though. I've got a MIG with mild steel wire so it will tend to rust in the future perhaps. As long as it's easily accessible it's not a problem.
  15. SPEC sucks for Saturns. I got their 6-puck kit which consisted of a Luk sprung disc, but their pressure plate is a modified stock one which has been consistently proven to cause crank walk (among Saturns) so I just used a OEM pressure plate. ACT seems to be able to hold the power though with no side-effects.
  16. Well I won't lose sleep over it. I have about a 50/50 shot of making it that far.
  17. No smoke at all. None at idle, none under boost, and none under a hard engine brake.
