  1. I used to see one sitting at Buckeye outdoors all the time.
  2. Come to the ER with me on any given night and tell me you still believe this.
  3. While I do agree with you, I think it would also be a prime opportunity to dish out some education. That officer walked away from that situation having learned nothing besides 'open carry folks are assholes'.
  4. Not really. I'd say it's a simple discussion.
  5. And how exactly was he inducing panic? Because some emotional people are scared of something? I'm not seeing it.
  6. Huh? That's like saying you could be arrested for walking down the street dressed as a clown, carrying a bundle of balloons, because a good number of people are scared of clowns and/or balloons. You might get arrested, but it would be a wrongful arrest.
  7. And that's why socialist shit never works. Why work harder for the same thing that the government is giving other people when I can just be lazy like them and get what they're getting. I'm not blaming you. Shit, I'd do the same thing.
  8. Agreed. I appreciate the fact that the guy seems to know his case law, but he was obviously looking for a confrontation, and found it. He leaves the scene looking like a douche bag. And the cop now probably hates all people who choose to open carry. A better solution probably would have been to cooperate for the sake of cooperation (right or wrong) and then used it as an educational session for the cop. Would have gone over much more smoothly IMO.
  9. +1. People often forget this.
  10. Judges Roberts, Ginsberg, Breyer, Sotomayor and Kagan. Imagine that...
  11. I love how they are calling it a tax. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't taxes typically for things you actually buy, or do? Not what you don't do? Shit sounds shady to me. I'd also like to hear who voted for it? I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if those two twats that Obama elected to the SC voted for it. I absolutely hate both of them anyways. Which brings up my next question; who's genius idea was it to allow one branch of the .gov to appoint members of another? So much for checks and balances.
  12. I haven't been following the news much lately. Esplain. Edit - Nevermind. CNN has the answers I seek
  13. My best guess was Popeye with those little kids of his.
  14. Make sure you wear helmet straps as well if you decide to wear a helmet. Having a helmet scoop water @ 80+ while it's strapped only to your chin could be a bad thing. My Dad has a 100+ vest w/ built in chute, some sort of special nut-protecting pants, and a helmet with straps that attach to the vest for when he decides to run 100mph in his boat.
  15. If that were my kid, I would fully acknowledge that I beat that motherfucker to death (and then ran him through a wood chipper); and smiled while doing it. Then go Law Abiding Citizen on any court system that tried to convict me for doing so.
  16. I welcome you to bring your hi point out to a USPSA match with me and actually run it, hard. I have no doubt that they perform just fine while standing 10ft in front of a piece of paper and plinking away at it. But, actually run the gun like a gun should be, and I bet it shits the bed. Not a single person that's serious about USPSA runs a hi point, and there's a reason for that... I am open-minded, so please, feel free to change it.
  17. I agree with Hal, Kirk, and LJ. When it's time, it's probably time, but I would first get the vet's opinion being that he/she is the expert. Along this same subject, I think it's cruel that we don't allow this for humans.
  18. I think he's insinuating that Keltecs and Kahrs aren't in the same price range; which he is correct, because they are not. Kahrs can get a bit pricey.
  19. Wiggles and this Nate character sound like upstanding citizens. Definitely the people I'd go to for work on a 1/4 million dollar car... (if I could actually afford one). Hennessey v. 2.0 in the making
