  1. Aware of that but considering it is one of the biggest variables I stand by what I said. The results would be different with both cars on the same tires. They didn't figure out that front Brembos alone aren't enough on the Boss 302, or even the 190+mpg 13' GT500. Hell they've had issues with the Taurus and F-150 with mediocre brakes. Hence why I'm on Wilwoods. Maybe one day they will figure it out.
  2. Is it a safe assumption that with these newer cars with electric steering that when power is lost(electrical) the steering is completely dead?? Report I saw said in 1 instance the steering "locked" and the driver lost control as a result and was killed. I know in hydraulic steering even if power is lost you still can maintain control albeit it's a bitch, but better than nothing. Either way it doesn't seem to have been handled well by GM and they're taking a beating for it.
  3. Mitsu as mentioned is a massive organization, they're not going anywhere but it is a shame as they never seemed able to recover from what Chrysler did to them in the last few years they were involved. Makes me want to go grab one now if I could.
  4. I would love to see this redone with both cars having the same tires as tires can ruin the best car and make a crummy one pull near amazing feats. Either way the fact the Z/28 exists is a good thing. I'm praying Ford answers with the new Mustang, having IRS now and being a good deal lighter all it would take is to give it the Boss treatment with a real Tremec, good brakes front and REAR and some tires Ford could likely match or beat the Z/28 for less money.
  5. Too much other gimmicky stuff going on but still good, need more emphasis on the truck. Would love to try my hand at this.
  6. Been one of the best winters ever down here!! Thanks for taking all the shit and keeping up your way guys!! Biggest dilemma I've had is which sandals to wear!!
  7. I used to work for "Americoat" years back, thought they did pretty good work and it cost only a little more than buying the material and tool to do it yourself. I only did it a short time before moving to the asphalt side.
  8. Looks good. Track cars are supposed to look like they've been driven. How you end up in the wall if I may ask? And where? I may have missed a thread you made about it likely. I've been lucky with a couple offs but no contact with any fixed objects...........yet.
  9. To each his own of course but the lighting was not good at all and does no justice for these. Will have to do some better pics later.
  10. Agreed Jones, looks much better. Tom, quadrupled the value!! Shane, couldn't tell you honestly and Sparco doesn't seem to know or care to answer my questions as they never have. Sparcos customer service is garbage. The standard seat seems to be about 1" larger in every dimension when I had them side by side but in the car they seemingly fit the same, only way to tell is to sit in each of them and you can tell the medium is slightly narrower and actually fits me a bit better.
  11. Well finally I was able to get some new seats in the rustang, long overdue especially considering the track stuff I do. Sparco Chrono Roads: http://i428.photobucket.com/albums/qq10/MrAutoX/1900610_633139426751854_928697421_o.jpg http://i428.photobucket.com/albums/qq10/MrAutoX/1601966_633139260085204_215726032_o.jpg http://i428.photobucket.com/albums/qq10/MrAutoX/1965681_633139310085199_623427051_o.jpg Really like them though they're firm which I'll have to get used to. Minimal fitment issues in the car. For anyone looking for big man racing seats these will fit large drivers, I'm 6'2" and 260lbs and the "regular" size seat I have room to spare, bought the "Medium" for the driver side as its slightly smaller and fits me better. These things are beautifully made as with most Sparco products, only thing I'd recommend is have someone make you a bracket, Sparcos are spendy at $140 each then another $70 for the slider, and $7 for the hardware which is naturally not included.
  12. Been in that before, thankfully in my work truck and not the Mustang as it will scratch the shit out of your paint. I'd be more worried about hitting a coyote or something.

    Robocop

The original was the first "R" rated movie I ever watched. Just watched it last night, looks like I will be waiting for the new one to show on t.v. or Netflix.
  14. The title says what I have been told is wrong with my left knee. Going to have a procedure sometime in the next couple weeks, doc is looking over the mri right now to determine which procedure to do. Anyone else had this?? Which procedure did you have done and how was your recovery?? I know everyone is different with the recovery, just curious what you went through is all. Regardless of the procedure I'm going to have arthritis in the knee the rest of my life likely, this is my punishment for working out and trying to get healthy I guess.:fuuuu:
  15. Congrats again man, white was the way to go!! Def want a ride when I get into town next time!!
  16. Not odd, I prefer it as well and my dad is on his 3rd Sierra. He much prefers the Sierra to the Chevy. I'm not an F-150 fan but I like this truck, aluminum was the way to go, just look what it did for Land Rover! The price though........ They would be smart to do a light duty diesel in this but I would think this would not mix with what they're doing with the 3.5 Ecoboost. Of course they could also badge the light duty diesel as an Ecoboost and then profit.
  17. Lexus drivers are the worst yet not on the poll.....so I voted for BMW which I rank #2.
  18. What makes Manziel is his escapability, anyone whom has watched their games knows this, the kid gets out of impossible places nobody else can and makes a play of it. With that said, if you look at what the more successful QB's do in the NFL, I personally don't see Manziel being much of a factor. As for the Browns..........fuck, who cares anymore?? They have no interest in being a successful organization.
  19. SEC lost to the ACC. FSU SEC lost to the B1G. Huskers SEC lost to the Big 12. Oklahoma ESPN will still report they are the most powerful, most athletic, fastest, greatest conference ever(just picking a few random games I knew of). FUCK the sec.
  20. The only good thing I could take from last night was seeing some of the freshmen grow up, Bosa being Bosa, dudes a total stud. Perry making some big plays, Reeves showed a little bit, and whats his name on the leap for the early INT. Miller should have been pulled, especially when we such a competent backup QB in Guiton.
  21. Bingo!! Clemson wants us to pass, so throw it down their fucking throats!! Then the running game will come back with option, maybe try get Wilson out on the edge and use that speed. Except they're killing us on 3rd down........
  22. Anyone remember the Rose Bowl against Oregon?? That should have been tonights game plan from the very start, but at least they figured it out sooner than later. Going to need another heaping of that in the 2nd half.
  23. As stated in the video it's about 1in lower, 2in wider in the rear, and slightly wider in front. So nearly the same and weight is expected to remain the same as the current car despite the garbage that has been added to appease uncle sam.
  24. Lol, yeah they're spendy. The roommate has one, an Oppo bluray, Monitor Audio speakers and a Space sub in an Advent powered box. It's kind of cobbled together but damn it's like having an Imax theater at home.:megusta:
