  1. I test drove the new GS manual. Nice car, but not very fast. Felt quite heavy. Handled well, excellent brakes, nice interior, and looks great on the outside, just needs more power, or less weight.
  2. Yeah, I figured I was doing it way too soon, but I bought the car new, and will keep it forever, so might as well throw it on there.
  3. I hope you still plan on replacing the follower regardless of what the owner says. Cheap insurance and allows you trouble free driving, especially with a chip. Fuel filter is something that isn't "required" often, but I will be doing mine soon, along with plugs. I just need to order them.
  4. The side skirts look out of place, and the over styled front and rear bumpers are not for me, also the wheels are hideous. I understand looks are subjective. I am only giving my opinion. I would rather have an SRT8 Charger or 300 than the Hyundai. They just don't interest me, thats all.
  5. On a serious note, Yes, Hyundai is doing great. The Genesis is getting long in the tooth, and I don't like the looks. The tacked on body kit does nothing for the car. Just don't like it, thats all. Auto only, 45k, not visually appealing, Hyundai badge, etc.
  6. Yeah, 07 and 08 in the US. I got to drive one, it was great. It was brand new and glorious. Unfortunately, Their power degrades amazingly fast due to excessive carbon build up, which needs to be cleaned at LEAST once every 10k miles. Like I said, I think they are fantastic and would own one, but not for my daily.
  7. Until the B8, I agree with you, they were pretty small as far as REAR seat space goes. The B8 however, is quite big, about as big as the C5 A6 actually. You will also see the new 3 series grow as well. The C6 A6 can be had with the 3.0T engine and should be easily had for 30-35k. Auto only, as with all A6s besides the 2.7T c5. The A6s have been getting stellar reviews lately, with the 3.0T, both C6 and C7. Unless he lives in another country, it isn't a 2006. Unless sound and looks create your driving pleasure, the B8 6mt S4 is the better car to drive without a doubt. I almost bought a 335 and 135 within the past 6 months. Go read the forums on their issues and how crazy BMW is on voiding the warranty. This isn't regular modded car = void warranty talk, its insane. Turned me off to owning one. First car that a forum experience has ever done that for me.
  8. The RS4 is my all time favorite sedan. It is the sexiest 4 door ever made. If you have the funds to do the carbon cleaning every 10k miles, and don't care about performance really, then it would be perfect. The B8 is better at everything, besides looks, and costs about the same. Id go B8 all day long.
  9. Pcv valve, diverter valve, cam follower, spark plugs, fuel filter, brake fluid
  10. I have an 86 Jetta coupe, does not run, has some rust, and currently in pieces, yours for $200.
  11. Sounds like a solid car. Let us know how it goes.
  12. Synthetic every 5k. For a beater, cheapest I can find.
  13. they look like m3 csl reps
  14. Not reading this entire thread, or doing any research on the vr6 4motion might make you regret your purchase.
  15. The ones that sounded like a diesel were probably diesel. :dumb::dumb::dumb:
  16. I don't have the follower issue, tsi. I did my dads gti though, took about 45 min.
