  1. 100,000,000 miles? Wow! The mkvi gli looks the best in red imo.
  2. The problem is that you cant turn off the traction control or ESP. So good luck putting down the stock power, let alone chipped, stg 2, or hell, anything. It actually has not gotten good reviews. Its slower than the outgoing mkv gli, larger, softer, essentially does nothing better performance wise. It MIGHT be more comfortable, but thats about it.
  3. We are doing ours right now actually.
  4. I usually do something like 60 to 10mph about 5 times, allowing cooling time in between the runs of about 30 seconds. They say after you do the multiple stops, to not use your brakes for the remainder of the trip, and to allow adequate cooling time, such as about 5 minutes of driving without brake use. The stops should be as hard as you can without allowing anti-lock to kick in, and to not boil your fluid. Their is more detail online for this, but this is what I remember, and is probably not 100% accurate, but close enough.
  5. I do agree, that the 04.5 and 05 MKIV GLIs looked fantastic, I would take a MKV any day of the week over one. Better car in every aspect, sans looks, and that is up to each person.
  6. Actually, almost everything is different. It just got a pretty mediocre review from one of the popular magazines. Essentially they say it is the nicest jetta available, but no longer a GTI with a trunk, which is what they always had been before the MKVI. Cliffs, get a 4dr GTI.
  7. My wfe loves trucks, well she used to. She isn't like most women, as she loves the unique, and prefers the bronco to any other car. I have tried to entice her away into an a4, tt, r32, eos, tiguan, touareg, mdx, yet she still wants a bronco. The bronco will not be a daily, a second car under 5kthe will be the daily, winter car. I found a few good forums. Seems 5 to 10k can get a pretty nice one.
  8. Yes, I am. I really like them and they are my wife's favorite car ever.
  9. So my wife loves these, an I agree. Her lease is up in June of 2012 and I want to buy one and pick up a cheap winter/daily type car. I know next to nothing about them. I did a ton of research about a year ago but that has since been replaced with other worthless info, as space is at a premium! I am looking for forums as I type this, and was wondering if anyone had any personal experience with them. Thanks!
  10. unless you buy a car under enough warranty to cover the financing period, this fear should be applied to any car purchase
  11. Fix the van dude. Sounds like the best move in your situation.

  14. Yeah, I am. I said in for a bit, not the whole night. Looks dead anyway.
  15. IIgnoring my question as usual, I remember you doing the same thing the last time I asked.
  16. Exterior size, yes, the taurus is a boat. Some reference: I am 6'6"and and 340. I fit comfortably in the regal, enough to purchase. I drove it and was pleased. I can barely even get in the taurus, and wouldn't dream of driving one because of its small interior size. Sho is fat, small, has horrible brakes and is auto only. Awd and the power is the only upsides.
  17. The black ones are c5 A6 4.2 wheels. The ones he is selling are original c5 wineglass wheels. Both Audi wheels.
  18. Neither would be daily cars for me, but I am weird. I would do an S4, A6, Q7, X5, Touareg or even a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, as they ruined the SRT8 cherokee, so gaudy and corny.
  19. I think the new 300 refresh looks really good, but not something I would buy if I already had a gt500 imo.
  20. Hey, when are you going to let me line up against that Hyundai?
  21. Yet is slower, in all aspects. :lolguy: Slower than a STOCK S4.
