  1. The being up there is what excites me. Climbing down always sucks, though. Whenever I've climbed dangerous places, it was always the coming down I felt worse about. I'd rather parachute down.
  2. Sweet. I've been watching more porn and practicing my timing.
  3. Saw this pop up and thought of this thread. Might be interesting to browse through. Ten Very Dependable Cars You Can Buy On eBay For Less Than $20,000 http://carbuying.jalopnik.com/ten-very-dependable-cars-you-can-buy-on-ebay-for-less-t-1642933998/1643024238/+travis
  4. I've participated in some mud runs, but no actual races. Mostly on ATVs. Mostly in Waco. Mostly long ago. Mostly. But this is different, of course. Something you can take your daily to, even. You ever been/seen a swamp buggy racing? All the crazy engined/wheeled, shaped shit they have? It's insane. If I remember later, I'll hunt down a vid to post.
  5. I was unaware this existed in SW Ohio. Haven't done something like that in years. Would be fun in any car to me. From the UTube page: Published on Sep 27, 2014 Blackout Diesel Invasion: Round 3 Dirt Country dirt drag 2014! Midwest Automotive Promotions presents the final diesel event of the Blackout series, this time its in the dirt for 300 feet at Southwest Ohio's Dirt Country dirt drag strip! 6. How many times do I have to tell you that was a man?!
  7. Super awesome. I love these things and have been considering doing a couple featuring some hot wheels I've collected. I've been thinking of a portion of windy two lane bordered by trees from a train set that are perfect size. I've also thought of a 1/4 strip diorama with two cars at night using led's. The windy road one will be for a model I'm currently completing. I wish I didn't loathe painting so much.... Have you seen this site? http://lamleydlm.blogspot.com/ Do some browsing. They have many, many posts of people customizing various cars and showing many displays/dioramas. Not just of Hot Wheels.
  8. No, sorry. Let me clarify that this is an electric dryer. However, the dryer vent hose fell from the exit near the basement ceiling and was aiming towards the fire detector's corner by the staircase. The very fine particles being created that aren't caught by the lint filter are enough to disrupt the current within the detector causing the alarm to go off. I was still pretty damn surprised, though.
  9. I thought I suddenly felt less bored this morning. Both my SD and the single HD Golf channels are working for me and all three are displaying the Ryder cup. Better give TW a call.
  10. Just a quick story that's kinda relative: When we first moved in, our dryer exhaust popped off where it exits to the outside, (I hadn't secured it as well as I thought I had), and was venting into the basement. It actually set the fire alarm off down there. Thought the dryer had started a damn fire or something at first until I ran down there.
  11. This seems interesting minus the fact that your dryer spits out dust and lint far smaller than what that screen looks like it can catch. That being said, finding suitable filtration to fit that gizmo would be take me about 10 seconds in my basement. Plus, the moisture will be needed by the time we have to heat the house since the winters here, especially once the heater's been running, get dry as hell and our humidifier can't do this big house anyway; it can use the help. So, does this thing just run inline with your dryer ducting that leads outside? Also, is there anyway to run more ducting from the "in-home exit" of the device?
  12. That's 10 min from the house. I may swing by there shortly just to get out and check it out.
  13. I had to miss it, too. Sounds like it was a good time. Anyone doing anything or meeting up anywhere tonight? Wouldn't mind getting out for a bit.
  14. It could be a pulled muscle or even possibly a hernia, but given the your description of the location, probably a pulled muscle. FYI, you should never be straining this hard when you take a shit. Either deal with it and wait till later or change your diet, if that's the issue. Not only can you pull a muscle, but cause a hernia, blow an ass vessel/hemorrhoids, etc. While we're on the subject, stop wiping so hard. Wipe gently, but deliberately. And, don't be afraid to really get in there with a toothbrush....
  15. Thorne lives in Cali and works for LinkedIn. He did mention something about possibly tuning out there, but I didn't think it had anything to do with CTD. Doesn't hurt to ask, so I'll go do it.
  16. I think I'll pop in for a bit. Prepare for a dick grazing.
  17. I believe it's a garnish for baked potatoes. See "D. Wiggs".
  18. If only one of them had bluetooth, I'd definitely consider it.
  19. Was just thinking the same thing for myself as I read the link. I'm not very good at it to begin with.
