  1. He's the man that runs a state that should be it's own country away from the rest of the U.S. To OP that is hilarious, I had not seen that...
  2. All cars are junk that's why technicians/custom fab. people have a job...get over it.

Yes it is, not many here in the United States. Ever heard of a Celica All-Trac? Oh and i have a 2nd Gen 3SGE and a 3rd Gen head, intake, exhaust manifold, throttle body etc if you are interested in parts...PM me if you are. Good luck with the project.... And for more education check out the Camry All-trac....AWD Camry, would be a sleeper swap for your other car.
  9. DAAAAAAMN I'm at like 3500RPM at 70mph LOL I see about 26ish Highway and 21 in town driving the piss out of it in the MR2
  10. I was apart of COFE as well for about 8 months while i had the car. Then when I got the MR2 and they ignored me like some huge traitor so I stopped being apart of the group.
  11. Sounds like a bunch of haters with 4 cylinders, or gas sucking V8's (Ford) upset because their car does not get 30mpg. That's really neat though.
  12. CG's on buyers circle does all the work for our shop, and has done some personal work as well for me. Chris will get you taken care of, just another place to get a quote.
  13. Nice back drop how many cars did you have there?

  15. One of "those" people I see, NOTHING wrong with used. Is an old school 911 not making a statement?
  16. I'm going in tomm. to take the temps test, pretty pumped to say the least. Right before winter I know, but I'll be ready for the spring. I'm planning on taking the class since motorcycles were pretty foreign to me until like a month ago. We got that R6 at the shop and i have been tooling around on it in the parking lot, I'm at the point where I want to hit some residential and low traffic roads now, but don't have temps/license. Seems like a lot of fun, I've talked to so many bike people on what bike to have as a first and this 600 seems like it is PLENTY for a first bike. Edit: reading pwns me again
  17. I read this with Erica, had us rolling a few times. Tis true, not many guys get the hints, and most guys are in it for their own personal pleasure...takes 2 to tango and if the other half is not happy...your not happy.
  18. Shifter karts Working on project cars Cruising around town (thats when there is absolutely NOTHING to do) Video Games CR Do what Scott does and research potential projects, I also watch for cheapo cars to flip on the side.
  19. So since we are talking about personal preferences and experiences here is my thought out piece. Based on what you are looking at I would not put the Taurus or the CTS in the same league as the Imports. If you wanted to buy American I would stick with the CTS the Taurus is a first production year for the new model, let everyone else find out what the glitches and problems will be. I would probably put the Mercedes higher up than the Audi and Lexus. The Mercedes could possibly be a headache with repair bills and the over engineered electronics that it has. I would stay away. Which leaves the Lexus and the Audi. I personally would pick one of these two, being biased as a Toyota man and seeing the hardships customers wallets have had to go through on older (60K-120K if it makes it there) A4's I would much rather have the IS250. I do not know how long you intend to keep the car, but if you are going to keep it past 60K I think that the Lexus and the CTS would be the best bet in the long run. Then again if you are really spot on with maintenance the Audi would be a great car for you as well with a really proven AWD system. I could keep going, but you get the idea and you claimed that you have pretty much made up your mind. I will be curious to see what you chose and why.
  20. Guys, I'm not sayin I don't like the Euro's I love them to death. I'm going from a maintenance standpoint of the OP needs to have someone else service his cars..... If you will take note he also mentioned USED, if he wants to buy a new A4, then by all means that is what I would rather have. Thinking of the person and their wallet not what I personally think is "cool". I posted in haste I know and this is what happens here. Relax I'm on the Euro side lol
  21. We frequent craigslist pretty often here at the shop we'll be watching.
  22. Cadillac, Lexus, and Ford are the best A4 is the worst, the Mercedes is nice, but the most expensive to maintain.
  23. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEN to that! -Erica
  24. I would do what someone had happen to them and ship it in a cardboard box through UPS. Then you should bitch on here about the box being all torn up when delivered and blame the shipping company. Thats just me though....
