  1. Might need to pull the box out/closest removable piece of the dash to see where it goes. Almost looks like a power wire for XM or a GPS after market something. Never seen someone go to the trouble to wire a switch to shut the power off to it though. All I got....
  2. Need to hook up a tech II and read the codes for the Body Control Module. Remember the modules in a vehicle can set codes, but they don't have lights on the dash for all the modules. Scott should be able to do it, I have ready access to a Tech II at the shop as well.
  3. The PCM thought it was -41*C outside. The "whispy" smoke smelled like raw fuel as a result. Of course it's cold enough out now that the exhaust will smoke at start up as a "normal" condition anyway.
  4. This is per our "tool guy" not saying what company or anything. Let's just say that I didn't care for Nate's practices when it came to some things. Nothing else really needs to be said as it may or may not be happening. Just saying that it would not surprise me. What I am talking about has nothing to do with IPS.
  5. Or perhaps they are in trouble with the law since the police have been snooping around the old Performance Theory looking for "someone". All allegedly of course.....
  6. OEM Equipped-just a couple that first come to mind A's to Evo's, RSX, IS300, S2000, MR2 Spyder, TT-RS, NSX B's MKII MR2, Air cooled 911's, Saab 9-2X, Acura TL, Mini S C's G35, Audi A6, Acura RDX, FC RX7, Honda Fit D's Air Cooled VW's, MKIII Jetta's, Most econo boxes fit here. F's Most vehicles that fall into this category for me are worn out older cars that were probably better, I don't think very much falls into this for me. Not much that is this bad.
  7. I believe it has a snowmobile engine in it IIRC
  8. Didn't even have to click. I was all over that video. The preview for it came out about 6 months ago on autoblog and the other month it popped up finally full length. Got the goose bumps a little bit. Fantastic video for sure. Leno went to his garage and did a piece on him as well. Really interesting guy.

    Door dings

We just park farther out than the majority, the extra walk is nice. Fortunatly we have not had any major head aches with the public and door dings.
  10. To each their own, Corvette's are neat in their own way. Nothing like driving an old air cooled 911 in my book. Although 90% of people interested in a C5/6 probably do not have an interest in the driveability of older Porsche's. Maintenance is only as hard as you make it.

    Verizon

T-mobile here for the last 7 years or so. No issues, yanked Erica from VZW due to multiple poor customer service issues. Treated her poorly in person unless her dad or I was there. I mean I could care less what happens behind the scenes at T-Mobile, my service has been great, customer service has been flawless. I typically deal with issues in person at the new store over on 5th in upper arlington area. I pay for 2 lines unlimited data 1000 minutes and unltd. text, making payments on 1 phone, and insurance on both for around $120 per month.
  12. O Rly? What's wrong with a 944 turbo, 944S2, 928S, '77-'87 911? Granted mod wise, it will not be cheap, but all of the above can be had in nice shape sub 20K. Especially the 944's and 928's.
  13. Nice stable Jack, good to see more MR2's around!
  14. By shortly she means we gavent left here yet lol.
  15. Can't wait to see this thing with the fender flares!
  16. There is a lot of winning in this thread lol. The tractor music was classic.
  17. *Pro-Gun Newb* Are you allowed to conceal carry unless it is stated otherwise on a premesis?
  18. Their website certainly has some nice eye candy.
  19. I mean doesn't Sonoma/Sears Point have more elevation change than Mid Ohio? Great for the track for sure.
