  1. Sawmill was totally dead last night, only about 8 cars around 1030
  2. In responses to article lol.
  3. It was a creepy place, and some asshole beat on the door right next to me!

    SEMA 2012

Never thought I'd say this on 2 levels, but the 2013 DUB edition Toyota Avalon is pretty hot. I mean a wheel tweak would be good, but the new Avalon looks fantastic. Also there is a company there that stuck a Karman Ghia body on a Boxster chassis which is really neat. I don't care how "ridiculous" SEMA can be sometimes, I would totally love to go and check it out myself one year.

speedhunters.com has great photo coverage. http://www.speedhunters.com/
  6. http://www.autoblog.com/2012/10/31/diesel-power-sets-land-speed-towing-record-at-141-998-mph/#continued Cliffs- 2006 Chevy 2500HD, 1000hp + 2 stage Nitrous Ran 141.998 with a small camper trailer in tow.
  7. Michelin product is what I would go with. Hit up tirerack for tons of surveys and personal reviews. I like the Continental DWS, but the sidewalls are noticeably soft to me.
  8. I appreciate all the input. I have a feeling I will end up dealing with the situation for awhile longer. I am trying to snag a 72" roll cab with riser or something in that neighborhood as a "final" base that I won't have to upgrade from for a long time.
  9. I get what your saying, I have a Snap-On 54" bottom now. Just looking at all the options out there. I have a feeling inside that the Homak stuff will not fly, but it doesn't hurt to look.
  10. lol, I hate looking for tool boxes. I found a killer Matco box on Craigslist, but it's just higher than what I can spend right now. I'm just totally out of space, starting to stack stuff outside of the box as well as inside the box.
  11. Ok, looking seriously for a new shop box. Does anybody have any experience with the Homak H2Pro line? I don't want to hear about the base Homak line that is equally as flimsy as Craftsmen boxes (sorry Craftsmen owners, they are). Not many reviews online, and the ones that are listed all praise the box as immediate reaction after purchase. I look to you guys around here that I know have been around this longer than I have for input. It does help. I know I can go used yadda yadda, just exploring all options. TIA
  12. As the New Jersey mayor just stated in his news conference regarding "alternative" methods of producing power. "If it looks stupid, it's stupid"
  13. Not what I expected to see when I came in, but that seems neat as heck.
  14. Their subaru pricing seems to be reasonable/average.
  15. Would be a fun driver. I love wagons and I think it is a little over the top.
  16. Edit - Whoops missed the year.
  17. Look to see if MAG has one? That's where Erica test drove one.
  18. Agreed, although a wheel should be able to hold up to that use none the less. Seeing how people curb the shit out of wheels all day without major problems. Regardless of coverage, I think it has made it's mark as a junk wheel for serious enthusiasts. Frankly I don't care if they are covered. I think that it would be a blessing if they did, but if they don't meh, doesn't hurt to ask.
  19. He stated that the company changed the warranty policy to include track use AFTER his wheels had been submitted for evaluation. Any after market wheel should be able to hold up to Michelin Pilot Sports...I mean come on, they are sticky, but not THAT sticky.
  20. Man, with 50% tint it's almost hard to tell it's tinted in the pictures. Even at 35% the only time you really can't see in is at night.
  21. Almost high pitched enough to be rotary loud.
  22. THAT is kewl. Love those cars! Congrats on your purchase!
  23. Like a track that requires turning the steering wheel more than 90* ?
