I just want at least 1 BIG storm. I'll take what I can get though, the wagon hasn't been through a proper winter yet.

More than likely the Porsche lost traction on the rumble strips and pointed it over, came off the strips and gained traction. In the in car of the Deltawing at the last moment you can see the Porsche's front wheel counter left. Highly doubt it was intentional, it's not NASCAR.

1992 Toyota MR2....I'm Biased

Isn't that one of the bikes that gets whored out at HD and does WOT runs up and down and through the parking lot? Or am I McSteakin'?
-
+1 Exactly what I was thinking. Plus I toss my front plate in the window when I am meter parking. OR parking down town.

LOL at Erica being logged in as me. Jeebus you guys are harsh. Congrats OP, pretty creative. Good way to catch her off guard.
-
Congrats! Super cute way to catch her off gaurd!

Get the car you DESERVE.
-
MAN that looked straight as can be.
-
Will bring MR2 out.
-
I'd say it depends on how bad the floor is wrinkled in the trunk. Otherwise the trunk would never be straight again. This would be the second 6MT Accord lost this year

Anyone going to HD? Or asked Doc about hangout interest?
-
The Mrs. and I might be out after dinner. HD? Doc's hangout?

The M5 makes such wonderful noises. I mean would the Tesla perform this way after driving for some time and the batteries were down? When does the torque figure fall off in it's battery range? I am still NOT sold on this whole electric car shtuff. I have been reading the Nissan Leaf owners forum and they are ALREADY loosing "charge bars" on their charge indicators. In other words it is charged 100%, but 100% after the battery begins to wear out does not give you the same range anymore. This is happening on cars with 15-20K miles on them. All batteries wear out, the more you ask them to do the faster they seem to wear out. I am skeptical of a solution to "batteries" to make them last long enough to be worth investing in.

There wasn't any issue when we would autocross there frequently with no sound walls....I mean Phil Alspach's "Mazola" pre decibel restraints was unbelievably loud.
-
No it wasn't lol. I read that one yesterday as well AND asked Erica if she wrote it. Here was the deal, there were also 200+ excellent reviews, as well as a personal review from another CR member here. It seems as if SOME of the rooms there are really nice. If you read one of the latest "excellent" reviews you will see that they included their personal photos. The quality of the room in their photos looks NOTHING like what our room was like. It seems like total hit or miss, hence why we "took the risk" and went. I feel bad for the company really, they COULD have something going, but it seems as if they can only afford to keep a handful of the rooms really nice, and the rest of them go to shit which ruins the experience for some, and leaves a great one for others.

Let's be for real the Nissan line is not exactly notorious for being great handling cars out of the box. ESPECIALLY the G35/37 line. The suspension dampening just isn't as on par with some of the Euro/Roadster esque options out there. Disliking the ATS or whatever Cadillac does not come as a surprise. I've been crying foul on new American car interiors for years.

wiper question, fronts work no spray no rear
Crossle replied to Stimmel1647545512's topic in Tech and Tips
Usually accessories will be under the dash. If NO feature in the rear glass works perhaps broken wire between hatch and lift gate? Need a wiring diagram and see if you get power to the rear wiper motor when you operate it with the switch. Or if you are ok with wiring it's probably a 2 wire motor, check for ground on one side and power on the other when switched on. Are there 2 pumps in the front reservoir? There isn't a second washer reservoir in the rear is there? -
I'm in late, but a couple brief thoughts of mine are as follows. Obama seemed to have a lot of "ums" going on in his remarks which to me, does not show a whole lot of confidence in what you are saying and makes it seem like you have been put on the spot. Romney seemed very clear with his remarks overall. I like to keep in mind that a lot is usually said, but not necessarily done during their terms. My understanding of Romney's tax cuts is that if we make tax cuts that effect the middle class, particularly small business this will then allow small business to begin to hire more people. As stated, small business is laying off/not considering hiring due to the change in health care, and taxes. Each person you hire then creates new taps for income tax, thus making up for the "cut" in taxes. I just look back over the last 4 years and think about the good and the bad, and I would just rather see someone with some new ideas "take a shot" at it because I just can't stand some of the decisions that have been made. ESPECIALLY involving the automotive world, something that brings almost everyone to this board in the first place. Tesla, Fisker, Cash 4 Clunkers, "saving" the big 3 as if they would have fallen off the face of the nation if the gov't hadn't stepped in, the Volt and Leaf projects. I just don't get it. I don't like to argue politics, just like to chime in now and again to bring up ideas that I have not seen other people bring up. So, don't expect some crazy retort to something you say to me.....

They were probably looking for a more out of the box "driver's car". Those are not the first cars that come to mind when I think of a driver's car... Congrats Max, I remember when you guys were going out to look test drive a handful of these. Nice range, but not surprising what you chose. What would choice #2 have been?
-
That stinks, love that era for Celica's. Would be an AWESOME car to toss around in the snow for sure.
-
Neat, but the technology has not won me over yet.

All-Trac is HOT! Welcome!

I would put Champions in, whatever style (copper/plat/double plat) OE calls for.
