  1. I don't see it as a good deal at all. I can rent a real car for an entire 24hr day for less than 2hrs of this shit. I've seen them around too but usually in pairs thus I assume it's employees taking them out.
  2. Yes they absolutely improving stopping. Doesn't mean one can fly down the road though. I can say in city traffic and normal driving though the difference is noticeable.

  5. The perfect bubble of Dublin Schools are keeping kids home too. They've already been home for like 2 1/2 weeks for the holidays. WTF! Someone needs to get these kids out of here as the wife and I need to days to just chill
  6. Paul, SRT, Driving normal......
  7. I put yes as on my MS3 I do because that fucker goes through anything with them on. Never drove it in deep snow without them. The first year I took it to the U.P. of Michigan in 9+ inch snow falls and pushed around like it had a plow on it. Never came close to getting stuck. The Fusion is a co. car so it runs on Stock MXV's or whatever good stuff Derek put on there. Night and day difference. Would run winter tires if the co. would tolerate me buying them.

Having worked for Panny, I can tell you that's not normal at all for their Plasma's. I have a 65", 55" and a 42" dating back to 2006 and all are awesome. Be sure you have proper surge suppression (good one). My brother in law had a problem with his flat panel and wasn't aware until he had a second one start to act up that it was due to his wiring. Older house (Built in the 60's). Given your washer problem, now TV.....might be worth a look-see?
  9. I use http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/vegassoftware Does a lot more than you likely need but it's in the price range.
  10. for those that remember Big Wheels and Green Machines as kids, it's time to do it grown up style.
  11. Holy shit!! Prayer this morning and tonigjt for you man.
  12. Pull the invoice from Edmunds and ad in 1-2% of MSRP for advertising fees. When you walk in, just ask them to show you the damn invoice or just go elsewhere / shop the net.
  13. Shaking head in sadness at the automotive world.
  14. Haven't met with our planner yet to review the goods in whole but my estimate is we are up over 25% likely conservative too. It Was a good year and with the past few years of deep investing I'm very pleased. We added one to property to our folio too. Closing however got push to this Friday though due to inspection and fixes we pushed for that didn't wrap up on time.
  15. Agreed. If she's using it to take notes, I would suggest either a small laptop, netbook or droid based tablet as their Office interfaces are nicer. I have both and love my iPad, but it's not a replacement for a laptop. Logitech is one of the nicest ones. Love mine. ^^ Best solution for you IMO.
  16. We use Amazon too. They kinda piss me off though as they won't allow Streaming from an iOS device to a TV, thus for one of our TV's that's not a smart tV I have to stream via an HDMI cable and laptop. I'd buy a Roku but honestly, it's not needed as I only would need it for one TV and really just for Amazon. Why thye specifically choose to cripple it is beyond me but they are the ones who are doing it and note it in their FAQ's as not being supported to output from.
  17. Gotcha....can't say I've watched any of the Netflix content though. Prolly should but I gotta find more time first  I'm thinking mainly movie selection. I figure there is some overlap.
  18. Anyone care to comment on which is better for you, etc.? Finally got around to installing Redbox Instant on our systems but haven't had much time to review content vs Netflix. quality of both seem very good HD Wise, both stream smooth, etc. I like that Redbox gives you 4 credits at the Kiosk thus if you typically rent 1-2 movies per month, you're not paying much for their online streaming. Thoughts?
  19. take it to get done. personally, I spent about $500 on repairs due to a beach use of some higher end stuff and refuse to take it anywhere near sand now. Even one grain is like passing a kidney stone bad. I'm ultra careful too and think it likely got some in it from the wind, etc. never again. beaches = P&S only for me from then onward.
  20. Yeah...go figure. I very skeptical about it but last Christmas I figured what the heck, if I didn't like it, I'd go buy something else and return it. Dayton audio is a cool place. I've visited their showroom on travels. Order it and you'll get it in 1-2 days. Ironically I just got booted from the game room downstairs because my son and his friends are playing Wii. Upstairs is shaking now. Seriously, it's very well balanced and crossed over well. Anyone looking for typical sub $900 set up should look at this one. I was going to spend upwards of that on this room for the kids and found I saved a bunch of money.
  21. Just look at what you need today and might in the near future. I don't regret having all the HDMI inputs as we have a need. Cable, BluRay, Roku, Gaming, computer, etc. Although I have an automatic expansion/switch on our lower level system and it works great. Bluetooth is also something we enjoy having as both the PC and phone can stream effortlessly....aka wife and kids now can do it Good calibration is key no doubt. Most of the nicer ones will do it automatically even. Just set up the mic on a tripod and go.
