  1. We don't have to read his mind. He's innocent until the prosecution can prove he started it. If they can't prove it, then it it as good as never having happened. Until like OJ he releases a book on what really happened.
  2. Haven't seen one in Dublin and I've been out and about all day on 270.
  3. pursuing the following someone is not against the law. Zimmerman putting himself in that situation is also not against the law. Who started the physical confrontation is unknown. Unless it can be proven that Z made the first move in an aggressive manner, there's reasonable doubt. He strikes me as a very passive aggressive type of person, thus I don't believe he would've instigated a physical confrontation. Knowing what we do of tray, I could see him turning around and confronting Zimmerman, and perhaps even becoming violent. All just my opinion and speculation of course. Z should walk.
  4. Holds up fine. I've seen some pretty old stuff that's dulled due to lack of care, but our old 2003 minivan is still in the family and never ever cared for and the bra on it looks brand new. Just saw it today in fact.

    Stairs

My wife's old office had some nasty carpet in it too. During the remodel we added new wood treads and decided to keep the dark trim theme combined with white to give it a more modern look. We put a runner so that the noise would be kept to a minimum. Bottom line, I like the runner idea. We'll be doing this to our home soon. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/143403561/original.jpg
  6. Not sure I want one if they aren't going to pick it up weekly. I suppose I can not take one eh? We usually make 1-2 drop offs per week as a recycling station isn't far from us.
  7. Meh....just my opinion. I bought my LTZ in June 2001, so yeah....to me it's a pretty old design. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/7894556/original.jpg
  8. and it shows. but I suppose some think it looks good.
  9. Yes. What I've heard is yes, THC as in he was likely high or at least had recently smoked weed. No surprise there. Again, he was far from the innocent "child" they try and paint him to have been. I think that's all becoming pretty clear now.
  10. I agree. However the ones who get attention are usually driving and passing like ass-hats. Drives me nuts to see left lane jerks poking along but I tend to just smoothly roll around them without issue. All too often I see people either blast by them or swerve through multiple lanes of traffic and that's what catches attention. I pretty much go 72-74mph when just popping around town. I have my WOT spurts but am careful where and when. I also keep to the center lanes and make it a point to have someone to the left to block my line of site should I see a cop in the center median.
  11. St. Peter likely didn't approve. Hope that attitude worked out for him.
  12. I agree that the whole we do or don't have a quota debate is funny. IMO quota is the wrong wording even for cops. More like shooting fish in a barrel. I would say quotas should be put on something more difficult than writing simple moving violations which outside rush hour times are more about generating revenue than actually protecting people.
  13. Should have read this first I guess. Check the return policy now that you've opened it. You might face a restocking fee. As I said earlier, nice gift, but usefulness as a camera will depend on your needs. Does the lens you have offer enough reach? If not, you might best go get a DSLR and a longer range kit lens or one that offers more all around capability.
  14. Free as in gift then cool. IMO not worth the money if I had to spend it. I checked the new mirror less units out a while back as a possible carry around cam. What I do like: IQ is good. Not DSLR, but good and better than typical P&S even high end ones. AF System is great for such a small camera. Not as robust or useful to me as ones found on a DSLR, but perhaps will work for you and your needs. Small size What I don't like: Menus and access to conrols. Goes against what Nikon is known for and that is friendly menus and controls. Not so here. Bridge camera. What I mean there is up from a P&S but not a DSLR in terms of complexity. I say dislike here only because of the cost and need for lenses. If they priced it at $500 and gave it a decent useful range kit lens, my opinion would change. That said, it all may not be applicable to you. It's free or a gift so enjoy it. experiment and learn and see if it's a hobby or passion you will chase. Congrats! It is a cool gift.
  15. I agree that it looks boring and dated. But then GM is still selling the Trailblazer that's essentially unchanged sine 2001.
  16. Good thing I had my fun today. Let the revenue generation begin.
  17. Julius is my buddy and is personally responsible for how well all my vehicles hes done have looked so damn good. Quality work, fair price and service that's second to none.
  18. Getting old does suck. Besides, when you're young and moving your ass all over a stage like that you tend to burn off pounds. Now he's no longer moving like he used to and money = lots of good food.
  19. ^^ this. We insured this when we put up our fence. ^^ get it verified. If you just bought your house, look through the paperwork for the mortgage, you paid for a survey and it's likely in the paperwork. I know we have ours from when it was done. If not, call the survey company who did it and pay for a copy. I do and specifically asked that our nieghbor insure their lawn service company does NOT weed-whack my fence or the grass along it as I will do it. They tend to tear it up if not done carefully. I angel the line below the fence boards not tap up against them wearing it down. tt. the mowing company and insure it's okay and offer to sign something if it's an issue. My guess is your neighbor told them not to do it because it's your land otherwise, they likely would have. I mean, the landscapers wouldn't know. Yep. I would.
  20. Survey says XXX It's closer to $1,500+ Backside incentives aka dealer cash has been strong. As have deals for initial buy-ins to encourage stock. Holdback is over $1,200. Regional Advertising alone is several hundred dollars per unit.
  21. how is is unconstitutional? If you're using your phone for GPS, that's not been ruled illegal. Unless you're a minor in which case it should be. So distracted driving isn't wreckless? So by your theory I can drive intoxicated too so long as I don't cause any damage define the real problem and please, share your solution. woman drivers....
  22. I know you weren't singling me out. No worries or hard feelings either way I hope. Just staunch on my position. Again, that's not a problem with the law or those enforcing it. That's part of the job LEO has. Weed out those with stupid as their copilot. It's no different or unfair than someone using a radar detector to see if a cop is up ahead. Situational awareness.
  23. it's called their job.... http://cdn.styleforum.net/8/85/851ac22e_d61912a9_cant-tell-if-serious.jpeg
