  1. So a fellow CR Member has had this car for about 2 weeks and is going to use it as a daily. It's a 2006 with a lot of miles and owned previously by a smoker that had a dog that sheds. Both added up to a huge need to clean it up so that the new owners significant other would finally ride in it with them Keeping budgets in-check the interior and the headlights were the two areas targeted to begin. Down the road a strong Clean and Protect detail will do this ride wonders on the outside. Goals were to completely clean up the interior and remove all traces of smoke and then to make it so the headlights could actually cost some light on the road without having to be replaced. I failed to capture any shots of the light gray color headliner but let's just say it lightened up by a few shade of gray after it was cleaned. On to the show... BEFORE Shots: The passenger side was bad but the driver side was much worse. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187300/original.jpg The back seat served as an ashtray. Common when smoking with the windows open. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187302/original.jpg Seats were worn as it's old, but they were also stained with lots of dye transfer from clothing. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187301/original.jpg The headlights were pretty badly oxidized. Thankfully not so bad that would have crazed inside yet but they weren't far off. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187303/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187304/original.jpg AFTER: After a good cleaning things improved dramatically http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187309/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187312/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187311/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/saab_92x_aero_gallery/original.jpg The floor matts and carpet came out like new http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187305/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187306/original.jpg Let there be light... http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187307/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168187308/original.jpg
  2. My guess is they will get 1-2 dems to vote for him and I bet at least one of the repubs will not vote for him but in the end he will be confirmed. The optics here for them to delay and obstruct are so very clear it's not funny. I feel bad for the woman as I truly think she has issues and something did happen to her but who knows if it was him. I doubt it seriously. If he was a sicko chances are he'd have something in his professional life that would show it. The FBI investigated the hell out of him as he held the highest position within the Bush admin. and even through all that they found nothing even remotely close to this shit. The dems used her and could give two fucks about her situation. They just see that he is about to change the court for generations and they can't stand to lose that power. We'll see if her name is even mentioned again once he's confirmed. I bet they drop her like a rock.
  3. Me too. He was being shafted and while she was compelling, I saw no more back up to her claims tonight than I did this morning. Tomorrow however is just a vote to move to a confirmation vote. I doubt that will happen until Monday or Tuesday.
  4. Brings back memories of the mid to late 90’s when these were popping up on the L67. What was that guys name in Westerville that had the GTP with one and ran pretty good times? Flashback for sure.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  5. can't wait for jury duty. I am not sure we can say that about her for sure or not. eyewitness testimony? I see people diggin up a story that supposedly took place 36yrs ago. show me him doing something like what he's been accused of in the past 10 years with credible evidence and you might change my mind. Will be interesting to see how these same lawmakers respond to the Keith Ellison case as it unfolds.
  6. still no proof of anything nor do I see the above as credible. she may very well feel what she is stating is true and she may very well have written notes but he can do the same and you can also claim no credibility but in the end we're at a he-said/she-said bullshit argument with no or proof about a matter that's over 36yrs old and from when the dude was in high school. I mooned a kid from the bus when I was in 7th grade so I guess I'll never be on the supreme court either. again, less about Blumejob's lies and more about his stupid view of how he somehow thinks the burden is for someone being accused of something to have to prove they are innocent of said claim. LOL. I suppose by his standards someone can accuse him of something that never happened and he's supposed to magically come up with how he never did it. He's an idiot. ^^ she's a dumb cunt who needs to jump in some hot lava and remove herself from our air supply.
  7. Agree. They should have just heard him and voted him down if they didn't want him. Same result, less the waste of time. what makes it credible? because she said so? :dumb: agree....but he's a waste of air in the position he's in. needs to go. This is about a SCOTUS pick not the POTUS. img[src=/banners/smilies/Dumb.png] {display:none !important;}img[src=/banners/smilies/Dumb.png] {display:none !important;}
  8. I must have missed all the evidence. So far we have what a story told to the media, brought to and sat on by a senator and a woman who said he did something but doesn't remember much if anything about it. Yes we can. Read the second woman's story and we have a completely laughable situation. yes/no. they stalled until the new POTUS was in place. they worked the system but they didn't pull out the stupid allegation card of penises being shown, etc. Correct. Guess you didn't see his comments. Evidently people are guilty and have to prove they are innocent of any accusations vs the other way around. Guess Blumenthal is no better and now has a twisted sense of his understanding of our legal and eithical systems work; but hey, let's continue to try and make things about Trump right?
  9. there's ZERO evidence or anything to support the allegations. the second lady has an even less. complete mockery of our system and the fools coming out telling men to "shut up" or the fruit-cake in CT that lied about being in Vietnam just shit on his own law degree with his response. Dude needs to go. Our lawmakers are a complete joke.
  10. So the FBI and others missed all this rich history of his hard partying in college and other antics? In terms of the senate, you're right, they don't owe him anything. Kavanaugh never said nor implied they did but let's see if his accuser even shows up let alone can furnish even an ounce of proof. The entire story is drama at its best. Trump should be jealous that these buffoons are putting on a far better reality show than he ever could.
  11. Deep cleaning and then applied a Trim Coating to them. It will darken them up for quite a while and provides all the protections of paint coatings. Thanks! It was a lot. The roof was the most difficult spot as it's pretty high up. leverage up that high becomes the challenge but my platform is quite tall and I was able to use it in the Bed too.
  12. Couple more shots of the interior http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161954/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161956/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161955/original.jpg
  13. So George is out enjoying his Roush and his wife her Lexus, but now it's time to clean up his personal yet work-duty truck too. It's a 2014 6.7 Diesel with series size going for it. Never been polished but wearing 4 years and nearly 42k miles of exposure it was noticeably oxidized and in need of some love via my Clean and Protect Package that would include a great synthetic sealant to keep it protected for the next several months. In order to help with the brake dust and to prevent it from further easting into the clear-coat on the wheels, they would be Ceramic coated along with the bumpers, grill and other chrome bits on the vehicle. Trim wise, there is quite a bit of black plastic exposed to the elements and they too were starting to show signs of weathering and exposure in their light gray dry appearance. In order to bring them back to black and protect them going forward, we decided to protect them with a specific Ceramic based product targeting such trim. Lastly, the inside needed a strong cleaning including a full wipe-down and vacuuming. Needless to say the interior came out beautiful. Here's what it looked like when he brought it to me. The back bumper as you can see is more than dirty. It's beginning to gray out due to exposure. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161925/original.jpg You can see the same thing happening to the windshield cowling. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161926/original.jpg The wheels are completely etched with brake dust. No, that junk doesn't just hose off nor is it easily cleaned off. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161927/original.jpg The cool chrome exhaust....forget it; just soak that thing in some oven cleaner to tackle it the best. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161928/original.jpg So what did he end up with after a little love? Let's start by looking at the wipers and cowling that have been restored and sealed. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161952/original.jpg Notice the front and back bumpers are nicely dressed as are all the black plastic bits including the tail gate latch area. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161933/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161953/original.jpg The hood.....no longer cloudy and oxidized http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161936/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161935/original.jpg The wheels, undercarriage, exhaust.....all looking brand new again. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161932/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161930/original.jpg The truck is a beast and just about fills the 28ft of driveway between my house and the sidewalk. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161929/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161931/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168161934/original.jpg Thanks again to George for his continued trust and business.
  14. Fixed it for you. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  15. Wet and Forget, etc. type products work awesome but on a deck in that condition I would bet a power washer and traditional deck wash would be best.
  16. Heat seems fine. Mine is heated in the winter, so I can't say.
  17. So George had his wife's daily done up right last week but it was high-time for his baby to get done and what a beast she is! His screen name and cars name is Angry Pony but honestly once you see this 3.6l Kenny Bell under the hood and an intake big enough to suck up a racoon combined with the earth shaking exhaust note with the whistle of the supercharger, this thing isn't just mad.......it's pretty pissed off......and I love it This car is far from how it was delivered even in Roush form. What a beast! In for a my Premium Enhancement Polish, this vehicle turned out nearly 100% corrected. That's thanks in part to George's meticulous car of the vehicle. Out for pick up today. Here are a few cell phone pics from late yesterday and this morning. Polished and Ceramic Coated with some GYEON Love. Includes paint coating, wheels face coating and trim coating. I also coated the glass as a bonus even if it won't see much if any rain. Now all that's left is to simply wash and blow dry it. No more fussing around with putting dressing on all the trim or having to worry about brake dust on those shiny wheels or picking bugs out of the fog light surrounds or the grill areas. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168128315/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168128319/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168127274/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168127276/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168127268/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168128314/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168128316/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/168128317/original.jpg
  18. Updating with link from Autotrader. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=494272847&zip=43235&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3Fzip%3D43235%26startYear%3D2012%26sortBy%3Drelevance%26incremental%3Dall%26firstRecord%3D0%26endYear%3D2012%26modelCodeList%3DGX460%26makeCodeList%3DLEXUS%26searchRadius%3D50&startYear=2012&numRecords=25&firstRecord=0&endYear=2012&modelCodeList=GX460&makeCodeList=LEXUS&searchRadius=50&makeCode1=LEXUS&modelCode1=GX460
  19. That's slippage on the wheel is what I think happened. The car is AWD and I'm not gonna lie, I have fun with it and the added power. From a dig she scoots and I think a tire may have slipped thus why it seems to be the back wheels. Right now I have money on the back passenger side tire being out a bit.
  20. CR Peeps.....what shop/techs you know for sure are skilled beyond just the basics on wheel balancing. I've had my Q50 to the dealer twice and they haven't been reliable at removing the slight out of balance I'm feeling in the car. Seems to be coming from the rear. Took it to Discount Tire on Sawmill just south of 161 and it's way way better but it still feels as if there's about .5oz or so out somewhere. Even they had to do all four wheels twice though which is beyond me why given they were all road-forced balanced. How could it read "ok" then after a test drive down 315S on smooth road and a return trip they find one wheel off by .75oz. I'm always hesitant to have them mess with all four at once for that reason. Looking to find a reliable shop that doesn't seem to be guessing or have equipment that's not calibrated right...which is what the Sawmill location pretty much said "given their machines aren't new" is what they said.... Thanks!
  21. Contact the owner, Brad. Great guy and takes super care of his vehicles. He has it up on Autotrader too. Asking $27,900 but flexible. Keep in mind however, this is a fully loaded Premium Package where the vast majority of Lexus 460's are the step-down luxery version. Fantastic sound system, heated steering wheel power third row and I'm sure a ton more fun stuff. Even his new 2018 doesn't have power 3rd row or heated wheel......odd I know but true and it's a fully loaded one. Brad can be reached at 614-237-3747 x159 Car has 75k on the ODO but again is like brand new inside and out. I don't think the third row was ever used and I doubt he had many passengers in it overall. He sells airplanes so most his clients are up in the air.....literally I am still waffling on it myself but I don't need a vehicle. I just really love the way it drives vs what I have now.
  22. checking on this and will look to put you in touch with him directly. I believe the vehicle is in his hanger at OSU airport still. Stay tuned. Here's a link to the thread regarding the detail. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128908
  23. Enerzen Commercial, 6,000mg. IIRC it will do 900sq ft. I will run it at home and simply put it in front of a cold air return. Knocks out odors throughout but you have to be sure to remove all live animals, etc. Run it in a closed room with a fan and you can easily treat smaller areas at a time. Again, just do it while you're gone and pets are out of the entire house.
