  1. would the weather tech set fit a 2017? I'll see if I can find out. may be interested.
  2. Have a .357 you want to part with?
  3. There's the spirit. Sounds like either a 15 or 16 is in your future. I see some Aussie styling mods too. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  4. Get an SS with the magnetic suspension. Add some bolt ons and enjoy it. Has nice amenities the CTS-V's don't. They are not as prevalent either. Sent from my Galaxy Note 8 using Tapatalk
  5. Family friend has a 2003 or so Trailblazer Extended size that came with the 4300 Inline 6. has a ton of miles on it and blew a head gasket. What's a ballpark on something like that getting fixed? He's also tossing around simply replacing the motor with either a 5.3l or something that would work. No muscle performance needed here on this one, just trying to get him a car that runs and won't give him issues. Insight appreciated.
  6. John Haas. He and his crew are awesome. They did the banister/cat-walk and ceilings in our vaulted family room and were hands down a group I recommend. They did the entire exterior of our home too. He'll remember the project. He's not the cheapest but far from expensive and the work ethic and details are what count and he has them both. Feel free to come see the work if you want. Google him as he has excellent reviews. Like you, I sourced all the paint. John is a friend of a friend that does only commercial paiting and came to me as a referral from him. Haas Painting Company, LLC (614) 657-5350
  7. Spring is coming and I'm now scheduling into March for details. Thanks to all those that came to me last year for vehicle detailing. I plan on continuing it this year as well to the tune of 1-2 cars per weekend. Email or PM for pricing. Just be sure to include an email address as my guide is in .pdf format. I offer everything from a New Car Prep Package that takes any vehicle with less than 1,000 miles on it and wraps it in ceramic protection to a full 3 step correction in my Elite Enhancement Package for those wanting something brought back to life that was not seeing much care over the years. If you're vehicle is in between new and death, my Premium Enhancement package which is a strong 2 Step process is where you want to be. This is my most popular detail package as I produce results that many would say can only be achieved via a full 3 step compound/polish/seal package. I do also a multiday Signature Elite Full Correction and coating package geared towards the garage queens of the world or for OCD nuts like me that like to keep the perfect appearance on their vehicles. A very common package that has kept me busy this winter has been a Basic Clean & Protect which is an awesome single step package for those wanting their car looking great and protected for the season but aren't hell-bent on full corrections. Great for daily drivers or prepping a car for sale. If you're looking at Ceramic Coatings I've used and stock most of the following: CarPro Cquartz - Used their entire family of products Gyeon Mohs - Currently testing out their new Syncro Package as I heard awesome thigns 22 PLe - Solid stand-by product McKee's 37 - Excellent newer product to market but one I use on both my personal vehicles as it's great stuff I also offer two interior detailing packages. One being a Basic Interior Cleanup where If you maintain the interior of your vehicle decently and aren't in the need of a shampoo or deep cleaning of the carpets and seats, then the basic might be all you need. However, for those that need more, I offer a Premium Interior Package and options that should do the trick. Pic Whore with my own cars: Both vehicles are ceramic coated including the glass. My car has a wheel coating on it the van does not. 11 years old and still looking sharp for kid hauler: http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/166927184/original.jpg 1,100 miles in ceramic coated with the same product as the van above http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/166987568/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/166916355/original.jpg
  8. ^^ there's your pool to choose from. You're a V8 but that's just what I know of you.
  9. the one I saw was at Luxury Motor Car Company in Cinci. They are adjacent to Dubwerks. Likely sold by now. Was pretty nice. They said it didn't have a tune on it; 66k on the clock. Had rotar replicas on it. Maybe it had a motor swap? Was a 3.0 though. Maybe it was an A6 Avant?. Can't recall and don't know my wagons well. I didn't drive it or look at it hard. They were putting a stock intake back on it so I nosed around.
  10. Find a 3.0 wagon and flash a Stage 1 Tune on it and enjoy. Better yet get one of the many piggy back Stage 1 tunes and just pull it off when going in for service. There was black / silver one in Cinci at the dealer next to Dubwerx in Cinci not long ago. http://www.modbargains.com/images/Products/SoloWerks/Audi-B8-A4-Avant-Solo-Werks-Coilovers-Avant_Garde_M510_IMG001.JPG
  11. of course, but then why not let the individual officers make that call. why are their gov't officials "ordering" them not to report or investigate legal status? Again, let's interject a little common sense and remove the illegal aliens by making a phone call. The answer is political agendas. I'll let you do your homework on who's liable for proving citizenship when you're detained for a crime and refuse to provide proof and are in-turn detained as an illegal.
  12. so I guess they aren't here to serve and protect the citizens? should that matter? again, let's interject a little fucking common sense. if a local agency arrests a guy for DUI and he's here illegally how about they simply inform ICE. It's not about fear, it's about injecting a little common sense to get fuckers who don't belong here in the hands of those that can get rid of them. You know if that dude in San Fran can get away with killing someone, shouldn't I be able to get away with killing an illegal?
  13. I have plenty of burdens and will gladly bring a few over your place.
  14. So do local OSP officers ever partner with the Feds on large drug busts or do they simply look past mounds of drugs hidden inside vehicles? We all know the answer so if local and state agencies have the time and resources to partner with federal agencies to enforce drug or firearm laws is it too much to ask that they do the same when encountering illegal aliens? The answer is absolutely. It's called concurrent jurisdiction. In fact, task forces have proven to be a highly effective way for the FBI and federal, state, and local law enforcement to join together to address specific crime problems and national security threats. So I guess the question is do you understand how jurisdiction works and how agencies actually do work together? Well......when it's not slanted with the bullshit of liberal politics and agendas. Guns and drugs are bad but illegal aliens.....well, we need to turn a blind eye to that because it costs too much money for us to make a fucking phone call and keep that asshole who overstayed a visa or hopped across the river over and over again after being deported over and over again, in our cell for a day or so after we arrested him for assault or drunk driving, etc.... It's time to stop the stupidity and start taking care of the problem when it's right in front of you. "hey, that's not our job" http://www.hahastop.com/pictures/Not_My_Job.jpg
  15. Should local cops enforce any federal drug laws? Imagine what we could save if local authorities just said "fuck it" to all federal laws and just went around picking and choosing. Oh wait..... Illegals are way more of an problem but hey why don't we just say fuck it to bank robberies or kidnapping or human trafficking. I mean if it's all about funding then why not... LOL though, States like Cali will spend money educating illegals, providing them benefits and all the monies related to protecting illegals but they won't spend a fraction of that to simply hold them for ICE to come? It's not about budget; that's a bullshit argument.
  16. It's pretty simple Kerry and it doesn't take 20 paragraphs to figure out. You're claiming it's lack of enforcement due to lack funding. The solution is to figure out who to bill for the added enforcement that's needed and if the states who are condoning the bad behavior aren't willing to do so then it's time to get creative to make those fuckers pay in a different way. If the states don't want their agencies to do the work, there too, toss resources at it and bill those who are the cause of the problem. States and their leadership can either partner with the feds or fight them. I don't care which they do but perhaps they should be looking out for the people who live there an are actually legal citizens and worry less about fuck-sticks who shouldn't be here to begin with.
  17. sounds like it's time to change who funds the enforcement of the laws that are currently being ignored. perhaps it's time for such a fundamental change that results in states such as CA, NY, TX and those with sanctuary supporters or sources of the problem to ante up more money to flip the bill. After all, if Mr. Brown of Cali wants to be so "liberal" with his support of illegals then perhaps he and his constituents living there should be the ones paying for it. Perhaps when the costs go up other areas of the country will recognize what's coming and they will police themselves by not encouraging illegals to stay in their city. Who knows, maybe TX will ante up higher costs to fund a wall.
  18. I've been in Cbus since 1988. The Northland Mall area hasn't been a great area of town for quite some time. I actually had a former coworker and good friend that lived over there from the 80's through his passing a few years ago. My admin. assistant actually lives just east of you and like you, by choice. Her and her husband invest in a lot of rental properties near there too. We frequent and know the owner of Graves Piano who has been there for years too. Growing up in the business and having worked for the Gills and Chesrown back in the day, I spent plenty of time over there. I've personally called on businesses in that area in my line of work too. I also had a co-worker have his car vandalized in that are on one of our calls. I've dined at Momo Ghar in he Saraga Market. Great food. There's an obscure little Italian place I've dined at around there too. So all-in, I feel I know it pretty well and more than just from driving through there. That said, of course as a local who willingly moved and integrated there, you're going to get along and do well there. That doesn't change the surroundings or crime rates in the area and even nationally the findings of crime by illegals and immigrants overall. Glad it's worked out well for you and what you were looking to have.
  19. the above is the problem. we have limits on the numbers of new immigrants for a reason and we can't keep creating sanctuaries or ignoring those that over stay visas or come here illegally. If they don't like the waiting period, move to Canada or another country if they hate their so much. They don't get a hall-pass and get to break our laws and just move in here.
  20. No, that's why he's for merit based immigration. Although it's pretty silly to ignore some pretty obvious generalities when you speak of certain areas of the world. why are so many people taking his Norway comment so damn literally. I think it's pretty funny and pretty obvious he was tongue and cheek making a pretty blatant observation. It is true that they are known to be a hard working and wealthy/successful group hence the reason he contrasted that with his shit hole comment. People act as if he's carving out specifics to a policy when he talks or tweets like that. Removing his statements from the overall context of a conversation is dumb. well you might look at all 200 years but the reality is times change and I would say that looking at things from say 1970's or 80's through today is likely a better indicator. no one is saying shut down all immigration, just to curb the shit coming into the country and ensure those that do are vetted well and selected more appropriately. Even a blind person can walk around and know that we have large segments of our immigrant population that honestly would have been better off left where they came from. You might not like that statement but it's true and to continue that practice is committing an injustice to all of us including immigrants that are productive members of this country.
  21. do we really Kerry? How many times are we going to deport these criminals only to let them right back in? Do you not feel something needs corrected here when these fucks keep coming back? Do you really support the politicians trying to protect them? It's all bullshit and you know it. Budget my fucking ass, the end-cost to our society because they won't hold a person or make a phone call is crap. If it was strictly budget related that's an easy fix and the talking points would be filled with that. They aren't though, these mayors and governors just continually spout off about protecting "all people" they rarely if ever mention money. No one is hurting the states rights either. How about these "states" learn to cooperate with the feds vs trying to say it's not their job. Let's hear one of these officials stand up and flat-out tell Trump they support the cause and they'll do all they can and will do so with the following funding and reasons behind the request. They don't because they know he'd find them the money but more importantly they don't have one fucking ounce of interest in doing it. They bitch about the lack of resources but I've yet to see any of them lead the way in the public eye asking or hell even challenging Trump and his administration to help make it happen. It would actually make sense but they don't' want to make sense. They do need to speed up the process. Our system is filled with too many delays that cost too much money. That's the problem with it and you know it. Lawyers and law makers love red tape and costs. Follow the money and it's pretty easy to see why. They make their living off red tape. Again, let's begin to see them step up with a challenge or a plan to make that shit happen vs telling the Feds to fuck off and die. Nope, they won't, they will instead go on MSNBC and spout off talking points about racism and supporting their entire community. It's all politics and bullshit and what they don't like about Trump and his agenda is that it jeopardizes their reputation and how they've done things for years and their income stream of red tape.
  22. roll down to the shit hole areas around Morse/Karl Rd and explain to me the value of 90% of those fuck-sticks causing trouble and living in the hood is. I was in MN with one my guys and I was floored that they too have areas that have been flooded with section 8 immigrants living off our dime. it was sad to see what we've done to some areas of town. I don't give a shit if we "vet" them. Why the fuck we're letting them come here in the first place is ridiculous. "Some" are good people, many of them are not. I don't need paragraphs of your rhetoric to see it. I travel a lot and I see things first hand in nearly every major city. My prejudice is again any turd regardless of color. If we bring in poor ass uneducated whites who don't speak English and have to be supported on the tax payer dime and then they get to bring even just one additional person just like them it's called stupidity. I'm fine with one college bound kid bringing a sibling doing the same thing but I'm not okay with the above. Kerry, I'm well aware that we have hood-areas in Columbus. What I'm not okay with is filling them up with people from outside this country that simply add to the problem. You can stop trying to paint common sense as racism any day now. You do it a lot. See my points above. We don't need to import more welfare based people who aren't supporting themselves. Kerry, I know and see all of the above. I started over in an apartment with a rental car when I moved to Ontario and had to do it for 2yrs. I wasn't rich and It wasn't easy, but I didn't live off their system and made it happen with the support of my family here and an employer that was cool as fuck. I also do know one of my doctors that immigrated with a license that isn't recognized. She has since worked for her husband who she met here and then moved into a very lucrative real estate business. It's her education, drive and quality of "merit" that led her to that success. I'll import people like her all day long. Those aren't the people in question. No, she never had to drive a cab but she did start over completely to escape the world she was in over in Romania. again, the ones I'm "seeing" and that are among us aren't the doctors and nuclear scientists of the world and you know that. Stephen Legomsky, a Washington University law professor is an immigration law specialist found that about 120,000 of the 800,000 that Senator Johnson from WI recently sited as coming from chain migration were actually not spouses, children or parents. Thus I agree that the "scary" factor isn't what the right wing fringe is talking about, but that's 120k is still a big fucking number that needs curbed greatly. No it doesn't Kerry. So before you go spouting off that the world here is perfect the way it is, you should get out a bit more and actually travel around the country a bit. I volunteer on a mobile clinic 14 days per year in the shit-hole areas of town and it's amazing the number of immigrants that nearly out-number the locals. My wife volunteers 3 days a week in Dublin schools and the number of kids that don't speak English - she teaches English as a Second Language, is amazing. It's also amazing how so many of them don't want to be here and miss their real home. Some are good and want to be here but a lot of them don't and are a big drain on the classes they are in. I see, she sees it, my kids see it.
  23. A Contest around going Hog Hunting. Go figure
  24. IMO having a fear or dislike of strangers or foreigners or of anything that is strange or foreign is normal. There are many many instances in our lives daily where it's a smart thing. Trust and likability are EARNED not something we should move into blindly. When we have a group of people like ISIS hidden a group of Muslims it's not hard to understand why there's fear or dislike. The ironic thing is the dems are all about Russia and Russians when it comes to the Political landscape and it's to the point where they too are exhibiting a form of Xenophobia. The good reason is simply because a few bad apples will ruin the whole barrel. In the car world it's common too. How many here are brand loyal or not loyal based on past experiences or valid reasons. Is that fair or does their example curse the whole brand? Same difference and it's common. The landscape of our world and the immigrants we're dealing with and the situation financially our country is facing is vastly different. Trust is earned and just as companies wouldn't hire just anyone nor would you wisely invite just anyone to stay with your family, it's just plain responsible to act with caution and greater responsibility when it comes to allowing outsiders into our country. it's how we define free and open. that has changed over time and not for the better IMO. we as a country have the right and responsibility to our citizens to be vet those that come here and WE determine who comes not those that coming here. End Chain migration or very severally limit it, put some qualification around who we take in and why and lock down our borders (both physical and visa-related) so we can keep out those we don't choose first-hand. Lastly, we need to put in place a system of consequences that swiftly deals with those breaking the law. There's ZERO justification for sanctuary city bullshit. Those leaders who support that BS need to go pound salt and find another career.
  25. yes/no. we've proven that there are too many cracks for the bad ones to slip through. close those gaps and ensure we're good and then I'll be fine with travel bans going away. Until then though, gaps are no good and we've seen plenty of examples of liberals even willingly protecting those that are in-our-face here illegally. it has ZERO to do with race/color of skin. It's about laws; period. I don't care if they are white and from Europe, if they over stayed their visa there's action to be taken and they are no better than the dude swimming across the River in Texas. I'm fucking tired of politicians playing games, putting on stupd face and tossing the race card out there. Those people need to get the fuck out and leave politics. If there ever is a revolution involving guns, those are the ones that need to go first as that will save countless lives of others as the stupidity will end with them.
