  1. i go to school over in wooster, and my parents are coming up from philly next weekend. i want to take them somewhere nice, and from what ive heard, columbus is the best bet. what are the best areas to go if we just want to hang out for the day and then go get a nice dinner?
  2. i went a few years ago. its a really nice city. dont think i remember enough to tell you what to do there, but i know that you really cant go wrong!
  3. i think while this is all funny, its not helping the political crisis in this country. our problem is that we dont have enough people who legitimately KNOW and care about politics. he is making a mockery out of it, basically just taking away from people voting for legit candidates.
  4. i have a 92 dakota... its not 4x4 though and its not really big enough to be a real work truck (i fit all my roofing stuff in it, but its definitely a squeeze!)
  5. robotripping = robitussin with alchy, right? that stuff can mess you up given the right mixture of whatever else in your system.
  6. heres my baby. shes a pure border collie, mom was a show dog, etc. shes a cultured little lady, lived in 3 countries, 4 different int.l cities. 11 years old now, but still acts/looks like a puppy. smart ass dog! http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c78/steveydthepirate/steveydcruiseday1003.jpg http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v108/138/31/43202661/n43202661_30574982_4779.jpg (she hates the pool, but loves swimming everywhere else...) http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v108/138/31/43202661/n43202661_30574985_5568.jpg
  7. im a trumpet player also.... but i wanted to learn the guitar, so i got some crappy generic acoustic and an ibanez gax. once i got better, i bought an ibanez FG. it is discontinued, was frank gambale's ibanez guitar. ive been told it is the lightest electric guitar with a whammy bar. AMAZING guitar, but the price also reflects this. i have a line 6 spider II amp, its not bad for someone like me that just messes around a bit. i havent played enough in the past few years though.
  8. ive been hearing A LOT of clicking at the beginning of phone calls. not sure if that has anything to do with this though (there are a few reasons why it could be happening) PATRIOT act Providing Appropriate tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism they can use any of these tools which they deem necessary in order to prevent terrorism. pretty crazy if you ask me. some parts of it are definitely helping, other parts just blow!
  9. bump for you. sometimes, all you need to do in order to get rid of that shaking is to balance the wheels to 1/16th of an ounce, instead of 1/8th. theyre really sensitive. the bushing will definitely fix it though. thats a common problem on neons.
  10. put it this way, i want a newer phone, but i just cant justify paying the $400 or whatever these phones cost retail! that g'zone looks interesting. the "liquid indicator" thing on my razr changed colors, showing that it has gotten "wet" at some point. the lady at the store told me that it will change colors if its really humid outside. this razr is honestly the worst phone ive ever had!
  11. my razr has taken a big crap on me. worst phone ive ever had. so right now im trying to find something new. i know a bunch of you guys that work at verizon come on with nice phones for sale every once in a while.... so what do you have now?
  12. no... sorry. 2500 is my bottom line.
  13. i have a 92 dakota... pretty damn fast.
  14. i have a 92 dakota... probably doesnt get the gas mileage youre looking for. its pretty fast though
  15. yeah, its pretty bad here. im taking a course this semester about the news... and its interesting to see how even historically, its been like that. i remember when bush went to rome 3 or 4 years ago, american press showed the pope shaking bush's hand and being all friendly. the italian news showed bush getting yelled at by the pope. political awareness and international stuff has just never been a part of american culture.
  16. i wouldnt do it on a regular basis, but thats just because im not at that stage of life yet. once i get out of school, i would probably be willing to do it. over the summer i was working some sundays, and it wasnt too bad.
  17. haha. saw it last year for the eagles.
  18. the raid works. we had one in a couch on our front porch, and a bunch of us got stung one night. the next day i got raid and went all rambo on their asses. that killed most of them. then we flipped the couch over the side of the porch, and set it on fire just in case.
  19. plenty of business owners just want someone to fill in when business is heavy, or one of the other workers left for a month or two... so i would say to ask when youre looking for a job. ive done it many times, and theyre always fine. they will be reluctant to give you a position with any responsibilities... but you can still make $.
  20. sounds good! i would like to see it go to someone who knows about cars. it doesnt even have aftermarket headers or a catback, and it already sounds SICK. just hit me up if you decide you want to see it. i'll throw some stickers on it and drive it up here to ohio in october. sooner if someone wants to take a look.
  21. good stuff! i whitewater kayak. its a lot of fun. my old kayak is a perception, but im trying to sell it and get a new one. you will definitely appreciate the workout that kayaking is. i noticed a huge difference in my shoulders when i started.
  22. i never really knew what it looked like. i was doing the siding on a house once, walking around in the bushes. i was in shorts, with no shirt, with all the leaves rubbing my face and stuff. when my boss walked by, he told me to get out immediately because it was ALL poison ivy... guess im lucky!
